We have been to the Huey Magoo's by Tangor mall but this was our first time here at the Goose Creek location. The Restaurant was very clean and inviting. The service was great. It came to our table before you could blink your eyes and was piping hot. We both got the 3 piece tenders with fries, Texas toast and drink. We will be back here again for sure. read more

My husband and I visited Huey Magoo's for the first time yesterday (6/19) around lunch time and were pleasantly surprised and impressed! I don't give out 5 stars often, and yeah maybe it's not everyone's standard of 5 stars because it's fast food, but what really stood out to me was the customer service. We were instantly greeted when we walked in, the ladies up front were very helpful and kind when we ordered, and the cafe area was clean. Our food came out quickly and hot! My husband got the 5 piece with garlic Parmesan tenders and I got the 5 piece with lemon pepper tenders. My only complaint is I wish my tenders were less oily and more lemon peppery, but I like mine borderline sour so I understand that's a personal problem and not one them lol. The ladies continued to greet every single customer with the same level of enthusiasm and care the entirety of our visit. The young Black woman with the cute piercings completed a round of table touches to check in with customers and see if they needed anything, and shortly later so did who I assume was the manager. An elderly couple had a complaint (I wasn't really listening) but I did hear his apology and complete willingness to fix it! I think he asked her if he could bring out a new whatever it is for her and she declined, but he went the extra mile and did it anyways. That's something they will remember too. All in all, I am sad we didn't try Huey Magoo's before since we are moving soon. This location is doing a lot of things right and we will return as often as we can to support this location and their staff. Wow, I'm impressed! Reminds me of chicken spots like Raising Canes and Zaxby's, except Magoo's is $2 cheaper. I ordered the 3-Piece Tender Meal with Sauce, and that comes with three pieces of fried chicken tenders with bread and French fries. Without the sauce, it is cheaper. It doesn't come with a drink however, so I had to order that for $2 more. I got my order very quickly, and the sauce was good! read more

We have not been to a Huey's since college, UCF circa 2004 right there off campus. Loved it then. Love it now! Definitely the "filet mignon of chicken tenders." Super friendly staff and relatively timely service (expect a wait because their stuff is fresh). We did the sauced tenders (awesome buffalo sauce), and the original. Plenty of food for a decent price. Clean inside. Convenient location. Definitely brought back some memories! read more

Decided to try this now that it seems the crowds have died down a little since opening. Came in and was greeted by a nice young fellow and I let him know it's our first time . So this place opened in Goose Creek not far from my work and I have been pining to try it. I finally got my chance and I took advantage of it. The visit was drive-thru but worth it nonetheless. The service was quick and smooth; even with 3cars ahead of me I was able to order and receive my food in under 7 minutes. My order consisted of the buffalo chicken salad and a single, unadulterated tender. I wanted to know the food under the sauce. Both were excellent and the total was only about $12. Might seem pricey but Goose Creek added about $1.50 in taxes atop the purchase price for my order. Can't say much about the ambiance inside the restaurant but all things considered I would guess it is average noise for a fast food restaurant in a clean and friendly environment. I'll be back soon to try the chicken tender sandwich. read more

What can I say about this place that would make you think that it was as awesome as I do.. all I can say is this they take pride in the food preparation and their chicken fingers are always moist with the proper amount of breading. The fries are great as well especially if you get the seasoned fries. The employees are always quick to want to be helpful and the general manager is always accommodating to make sure that your visit makes you want to come back. The tea is the proper amount of sweetness for this old boy and their special sauce compliments the chicken nicely. You want something fast and well priced then this is your place! read more

First time here since opening a few months ago in goose Creek. I am not a chicken fingers fan, but these were good. Tender juicy chicken strips, not dry or overcooked. My only complaint is that the bread is only toasted on one side which makes it soggy. Their french fries are good and have a little kick to them. Well was good maybe while it lasted. Last night ordered online, picked up my food and bag was all tied up knotted. Restaurant inside appeared in much chaos, and noted help wanted posted on all sides. Got home the chips for both my and my wife's meals were burnt to a crisp, tasted burnt looked burnt. My wife got breaded fingers 4 of 5 were burnt. I got sauced tenders and could taste a little burnt flavor, couldn't see because of the sauce but certainly either overcooked OR cooked in charred oil in fryers.
