Nice setup. Hostess is outside at entrance. They take your name and number and dining preference indoor or outdoor. We sat at bar since it was not crazy hot. When my table was ready I cancelled it and just ate at the bar. Friendly atmosphere and service. Ordered BBQ Platter ( Pulled Pork, Wings, and Smoked Sausage) Appetizer of Crab Cakes. All was good but the crab cakes were salty. The menu has good options both grilled and fried. Salads are an option as well. Id go back again.

Samantha B was awesome, very attentive and helpful. Fried seafood platter was great. Very fresh. Red velvet cake on the banana pudding was dry!

Holy City cocktail. Sorry forgot food pic.

Went to Page's in Summerville last night. First time there. We usually go to the one in Mt Pleasant. Building was nice with inside and outside seating. Big fans outside that were loud and blew stuff off out table but provided cool relieve. Order a cocktail the Holy Water and it was watered down. For dinner I had the fried flounder with fried okra and stewed okra/tomatoes. The fried flounder looked old and was not seasoned. Fried okra was just okay. The best part of the meal was the biscuit. It was busy and food came out slow but our server was nice and very attentive. This definitely isn't the Pages of Mt Pleasant. I will drive further to get a better meal.

Excellent southern food! And a beautiful restaurant that manages to give off both casual and upscale vibes, which makes it a great place for any occasion! I came here for dinner with my husband and our friend. We started with the beignets. They tasted like fried dough + a donut had a baby (= delicious!). For my entree, I ordered "Ashleigh's shrimp & grits" which is now one of my favorite shrimp & grits! The grit-cakes are very unique and perfect for this dish. The sauce was amazing too!! Tastes like it would complement anything you put it on. I would definitely recommend checking this place out! :)

Soul food that is food for the soul. The seafood platter is a must; best fried shrimp this 71-year, Florida-raised Catholic has ever had. And the sides are almost better. Great lunch or dinner spot.

We went on a Saturday, so it was pretty busy but the staff handled everything very well. We were seated early and our server Dalton was great. The restaurant has a lot of seating both inside and outside. The restaurant was very clean and set up nicely. The food was delish and the portions were great.

One of my favorite places to bring people for a good meal that is consistently delicious! The servers are attentive and friendly and I love the outdoor seating and patio while waiting for a table. It's family friendly and we always feel welcome. Every meal here that I've had has been on the mark. My favorite items are the country fried chicken and beignets. On our most recent visit, my husband ordered the ribeye and it was one of the best ones he's ever had. We were pleasantly surprised as we are big steak eaters and have been to many of the high end steak restaurants in the area.

This place was better than expected. Even with a pretty good line, we got seated quick. And the food was better than expected.

Large space with awesome outside. Very busy on a Saturday. I don't know if I just didn't get the right dish but Page's Seafood Pasta was just okay. Smaller portion compared to their other dish. My pina colada was also not my favorite. It tasted more like ice than yumminess. Overall pleasant experience to be there. Just the food wasn't yummy.

Ok, I'll get to the food. But our waiter was outstanding. His easygoing manner complimented his professionalism. Only in linen and silver restaurants have I seen such a well trained pro. He helped make our evening memorial. I ordered the Cajun Grits, and struck gold. It was a perfect blend of Cajun flavors without being overpowered by raw heat. I savored every bite. POG is a casual place, understandably popular for its Southern style cuisine. We ate inside, but when the weather warms a bit we'll be back to try the outdoor area and another sumptuous meal.

While visiting Summerville, SC for a family reunion I had the pleasure of eating at Page's Okra Grill four consecutive days. 1. First Off - The greeting team of employees at the entryway started the vibes with their pleasantries. 2. On our initial visit our server Jessica engagement was AWESOME!!! She welcomed us and asked if anyone at the table had any specific food allergies. Then she took our orders, refilled our non-alcoholic beverage and provided us all at the table with lasting smiles. 3. One day while in Summerville I stopped by the Carry-Out window to place a order. Carolyn, was the server that took my order. She was such a pleasant individual that I over order on my take-out order. Her customer service skills far exceeded my expectations and I was internally happy to have met her. 4. During one of our dine-in visit I /we met a manager by the name of Sasha because she was walking to the various guest dining tables asking "IF EVERYTHING WAS ALRIGHT WITH THE FOOD." Well after exchanging a few complement about the food, I quickly realize that Ms. Sasha genuinely cared about the customers experience and was 100% vetted into making certain we were satisfied with our food. "KUDOS!" 5. So I saved the best for last - THE FOOD - OMG...Definitely a 10 out of 10. Page's Okra Grill met ALL of our checkmarks. The quality, taste, freshness makes Page's Okra Grill - Summerville a staples to dine-in or out. Anyone visiting the Charleston / Summerville area should definitely check out Page's Okra Grill - Summerville you will not be disappointed.

My meal! Sea bass and shrimp with an extra side of sweet potato casserole!

Food was amazing today! Went with brunch with friends and ordered Blackened sea bass and shrimp with rice, spinach, and tomatoes. I added a serving of sweet potato casserole and everything was served hot and delicious! Was a little wait bc it was very busy today. Also got a Peach Spritzer (champagne, peach schnapps and peach puree)..I think that was the name...was very tasty and shared a carafe with my friends. My friend ordered the short rib and grits and her short rib was very tough and she ordered fried flounder. The short rib she has ordered for years and it was her first time having any issue with this dish.

Southern Cooking Done RIGHT at Gail's Soul Food -- Goose Creek, SC…read more New guy in town looking for some real, signature Southern cooking. I needed a break from all that Texas BBQ and wanted some true soul food -- the kind that feels like it came straight from someone's grandmother's kitchen. I started with Gail's Soul Food, and let me tell you... I have zero regrets. Every bite was worth it. I showed up around 4:45 PM, just 15 minutes before closing. As soon as I walked in, the lady at the counter hit me with: "We ain't frying nothing 10 minutes before we close." No problem at all, ma'am -- that line alone told me I was in the right place. I simply asked, "Alright then... what can I order?" I went with the smothered pork chops with rice and gravy, collard greens, green beans, and cabbage. BAM! Everything -- and I mean everything -- was excellent. The pork chops were tender, well-seasoned, with a nice touch of garlic and smothered perfectly in gravy. The collards were real collards, not canned (unlike too many places in Texas), and seasoned just right. The cabbage was flavorful, and the green beans were on point too. I also order a turkey wing smothered in gravy and it was also very tasty. The restaurant itself was clean, well-decorated, and welcoming. Even though they were about to close, the staff remained friendly, patient, and committed to giving me great service. That says a lot about their pride and professionalism. I truly enjoyed the food, the atmosphere, and the customer service. I'll definitely be back to try a few more menu items before I head back to Texas. If you're anywhere near Goose Creek and want real Southern comfort food done right, Gail's Soul Food is a must-visit.

My husband and I came in for dinner and sat at the bar. We started with the cheese fritters & bacon jam. We initially thought the bacon jam was missing, but the fritters were great so we just kept eating them! When we got down to the last one, we both realized the "odd looking fritter" in the bowl that we were both avoiding, was the jam (oops!). It was a similar color and shape to the fritters but we both just laughed about avoiding it. For my entree, I was sold on the "award-winning" shrimp & grits that were featured on the Today show (as per their menu). Surprising that this meal made it that far as it didn't taste like anything special to me. It was not bad but very basic/plain; so basic that it felt like something was missing. It was the same case with my husband's meatloaf. However, I would still recommend checking this place out and deciding for yourself if you like it here ;)
