Talked to the owner (?) about costs for new tires and he quoted some very reasonable prices and was very honest about the quality of the various brands. A hidden gem! I discovered this tire shop that sells pre-owned/used tires and new tires. A few days ago I had found a nail in my tire and when roadside assistance changed my tire, they discovered a small bulge in my Michelin tires. I am not sure if the bulge was a warranty issue or if it was from driving over a large pothole. Regardless, I didn't want to mess with Michelin tire warranty with the little time I had. A friend that works for a car dealership suggested that I look online for a used tire shop that may have tires for import cars. I discovered Sunny's Tire Shop on a site called OfferUp and they posted tires in my vehicle's size with a description and very reasonable prices. I was skeptical (as you know, you get what you pay for), and I called them and also a few other places to check on the prices/size/availability. The OEM tires for my vehicle brand new is a full set is over $1000, installed. Since I only needed one tire (and I was willing to replace them as a pair), I decided to visit this shop. It was an hour drive, and I cut through the side streets in rush hour traffic. Located off of 288 and Cullen, the shop is next to a Valero gas station and convenience store; the tire shop is actually a fairly large facility. I was very surprised. The employees greeted me promptly and they were quite helpful. The owner, Sunny, came out and introduced himself. He gave me a quick tour of his shop. The owners and workers there are Vietnamese. Since I was buying a used tire, I made sure to ask for one that has not been repaired and/or plugged. Luckily, they had one, with 60% tread life, and they sold it to be for $50 installed (great deal). They sell name brand (Michelin, Bridgestone, Cooper, Pirelli, etc) tires in used condition with 60% or more tread as well as not so well known brand new tires. Sunny told me he can also order name brand tires as well, and his prices are usually less than the retail. Since I only replaced one tire (wanted to match the others) and I will eventually replace all four tires. The prices were reasonable, the service was quick and they were very helpful. read more

I Found them on the internet and wasn't sure if it was legit, but I got there and was pleasantly surprised. The price he told me on the phone was the price we paid he didn't try and up-sale me anything, just took the car and got straight to work was done in no time mounting and balancing both tires. After it was all said and done the total was exactly what he'd said it be $150 for two brand new Mastercraft tires mounted and balanced. Went to Goodyear for an oil change and was told that I needed 2 back tires bc they had nails in them. They quoted me $350 for the tires and labor. I called around and found Sunny's Tires and luckily he had 2 used tires that still looked brand new. He quoted me $150 for the tires plus labor. I drove in at noon and no one was ahead of me - another plus. He shook my hand, showed me the tires, and proceeded right away. I also needed the front 2 tires turned around (bc whoever installed the tires at CarMax, installed them the wrong way) and Sunny only quoted me an extra $15 to remove them, reinstall correctly and rebalance.
