I've been seeing Sunny regularly every 2 weeks for over a year now. :) I was very happy with the results from day 1, it's very difficult to find a lash tech who designs my eye accurately. I've always wanted lashes, but am horrible at applying strip lashes. And for some reason, when I've paid for extensions from different lash artists - I never liked how they looked on me. It always felt like they looked better on other people. So frustrating! What a relief to find Sunny Sunny does an amazing job at enhancing my eye shape - my boyfriend says these lashes totally change the shape of my whole face to the point that he asked me if I had plastic surgery when he saw past pictures of me without lashes. They're that transformational for me, I guess. And I benefit from this...he loves them so much on me that sometimes he even drives me to my appointments :) I moved to Orange County in January, and I still drive (or get driven - lucky me!) twice a month to get my fills from Sunny because her rates are very reasonable, and I know I can trust her work. I've been asked about my lashes when I'm out and about and confidently refer them to Sunny - she's totally trustworthy - I know anyone I send her way is in excellent hands. And they are willing to drive far for her too! Her skillset is that refined. In fact, I was referred to Sunny when I asked the owner of my gym where she gets her gorgeous dramatic lashes done :) She's been seeing Sunny regularly for years, she said - and I say its so worth it for that fresh faced no makeup glam look! I love a dramatic eye that also looks natural. I never need makeup because these lashes make me look put together at all times. For this reason alone, I'd recommend Sunny. She has always been kind, professional, and fair - she even gave me a holiday special where I tried bottom lashes as a gift and WOW those are such a vibe, you have to try it! For those who are new to lash extensions, please expect there to be a learning curve with a financial process to match. For example, we started me on very dramatic lashes - but they felt heavy and started to tangle and tug after about a week and a half - which means for a few days before my 2 week refill I was uncomfortable. Sunny saw the problem, so she made adjustments for me and the next round was less dramatic - but ultimately better suited for my eyes since it was dramatic enough, and didn't feel weighed down or anything. This went on for a few refills as new things would come up & the look would change, and comfort improved. I've also tested going 3 weeks (which costs more per visit, but is less per month) just to see if I could extend my lash time between visits since once a month visit seemed more feasible after I moved - but my lashes definitely got so sparse in that window that I learned it wasn't worth it to me. The beauty benefits I receive outweigh the minor inconvenience of driving. All this to say: in your first year of lashes, expect to do your own little experiments. You'll need to learn what works for you. You might test different style lashes, different refill timelines - all of which will vary in cost until you land on what suits you best and from that point onwards it will become a set routine for you. I have been getting my lashes done for many years now, and started seeing Sunny when she was at another very well renowned salon. I specifically wanted to go to a master stylist and wow did Sunny deliver. Now that she has her own salon it's so easy to get an appointment with her, she always accommodates my schedule and she always does an amazing job. I see her religiously every two weeks for a fill, although many times I could probably go less often as she uses all the best glue and lashes and they last FOREVER. I took a month long trip to Costa Rica this past January and my lashes lasted the entire time. I've been a client of Sunny's for more than 6 yrs. now and I can honestly say she is hands down the best eyelash/extension professional I've ever known. it's a relaxing 45-60 minutes of lying down listening to her calming spa music and when I am done...wala...my lashes are full and feathery and beautiful. They last a good long time, probably an additional week or so, but I choose to see her every 2 weeks regardless. Recently she asked if I was happy with the whiteness of my teeth and I of course thought, well...they could always be whiter so she invited me to stay about 20 minutes longer for a teeth whitening session. I've done the ultraviolet whitening procedure at my dentists office before which set me back roughly $500 but Sunny said it would only cost $60 so I agreed. Why not? I was so startled when I got up and looked in the mirror! My teeth were whiter than they had ever been and only after one $60/20 minute session. I will keep coming back thank you very much.
