I am just sitting here in shock over how Kelly Bourgeois has maintained a "relatively successful" business for as long as she has. One day I'm getting "appreciate you" text messages, and 48 hours later she cancels months of appointments I have scheduled because, get this, I dared to try to give her EVEN MORE business by adding an extra appointment to deal with lash loss before an event I'm attending. I mean, the nerve of me!!! Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. Even if you're a longtime client, trust, she'll turn on you too, for reasons that will likely be unfathomable to you as well. I normally don't post negative reviews like this but, instead of DISCUSSING whatever her issues were with me, she just took me off her books, Blocked my number, and Blocked me on social media... what, are we 5th Graders? I have screenshots of my very civil attempts to communicate with her via text, just in case anyone wants to see how immature and unreasonable she can be when it comes to resolving issues. I just got lashes done by Kelly today, and I have to say that they are exceptional! I've been to several different people for lashes, and had some awful experiences (glue in my eye, eyelids glued together, and pain/being pinched). Kelly is very professional, her studio is exceptionally clean, and the decor is modern and comfortable. Kelly is so gentle applying the lashes it really didn't feel like she was doing anything at all. I also have very straight lashes that grow down, and Kelly has a special kind of eye lash extension to cater to the shape of my eyes and lashes. It's not a one size fits all kind of service. Her prices are a little higher than traditional nail salons but you get what you pay for. She is a perfectionist that pays attention to detail and sterile process. She loves what she does and strives to be the best in her field. It shows in her work. Kelly does an amazing job and lives up to her ratings. I found her via yelp and she has not disappointed. She is very responsive for scheduling and even came in during her off time to get me in before an important event I had. There were a few times in the beginning where my lashes did fall off quite early but I have very fine lashes and I was not able to keep up with them as suggested. Once I followed the care instructions and avoided using oily soaps etc. (I purchased a lash wash provided by Kelly) I have not had that problem. After posting my review of 3 stars I decided to give a higher rating because Kelly, reached out to me and offer to do a full set (at no charge to make me happy). She felt really bad about how I felt, and offer to take more time with my lashes and really give me what I wanted. Not only are they much fluffier (way better) they're more comfortable!!! My old lash lady was gluing multiple eyelashes together and I didn't understand why they bothered me all the time. Worst nails that I have ever got... me and my my mom both went to her Studio last week and we are both very unsatisfied with what she did to our nails. It looks ugly and bumpy and it's not even a week that they're all coming off, it looks like I have done it last month.
