I cannot recommend this shop. This is all referencing the Kuykendahl location. After they performed brake and front-end work on my 2012 Honda Odyssey, the vehicle was returned to me with additional noises that I ultimately had to take to another shop for diagnosis. That shop immediately found the vehicle had been left in a serious unsafe state, with multiple loose fasteners from the recent work, including brake caliper bolts, control arm bolts, three of the four wheel hub bolts, and an outer tie-rod connection that could be moved by hand without a wrench. Full story: I originally brought the van in because of metallic scraping from the brakes. On May 20, 2026, the shop replaced the front brake pads and rotors, wheel hub and bearing assemblies, and front suspension control arms. About a week later, the vehicle developed a loud metallic clanging/slipping noise while braking, along with new popping and knocking noises while turning, braking, accelerating, slowing down, and driving over small bumps. I returned multiple times seeking a diagnosis. I was first told the noises could not be identified. Later, I was told the problem was likely the stabilizer-bar links or the struts. Based on that recommendation, I paid to replace the stabilizer-bar links, but the noises remained. During a later test drive, I was told the popping noises were definitely the struts. I was also told the brake noise could be caused by a sticking caliper or restricted brake hose. The independent shop found that the popping and knocking noises were actually caused by the loose fasteners left behind after the original repair. Once those issues were corrected, the noises disappeared. The stabilizer-link replacement had not fixed the problem, and the struts did not need replacement. The brake issue later returned. The independent shop documented uneven brake-pad wear and excessive buildup, and the front brake pads and rotors installed less than a month earlier had to be replaced again. Before posting this review, I gave the owner more than a week to respond to detailed written documentation, photographs, inspection reports, and reimbursement requests. Rather than responding in writing, he repeatedly called me after I requested email-only communication, denied responsibility, and accused the independent shop of creating a false narrative and recommending unnecessary repairs in order to generate additional work. In the end, I paid for repairs that did not resolve the problems, paid for additional repairs that were later determined to be unnecessary, and had to pay another shop to diagnose and correct the issues. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this shop. read more

Sunny's on Kuykendahl is amazing. I had issues in the past with shops not doing the repairs, be going there now for 2 years and they are always pleasant, honest and respectable. Customer service is wonderful they tell you what is wrong and provide options on which repairs are necessary and if you dont want to do a repair they are still very respectable and no pressure, but when you are ready for the repairs they are there for you and provide the same amazing service. read more

This place is absolutely amazing. I had a piece of plywood fly up from the freeway and hit the front of my truck. There wasn't a lot of damage so I didn't want to go through my insurance. I saw Sunny's online and thought I'd try them out and am so glad I did. I had a very reasonable estimate in 10 minutes they ordered the parts called me back 2 days later left my truck for 3 hrs and done as good as new. If I went to a regular collision shop it would have been 3-4 days in a rental and hope for the best . If you're looking for great service this is where you need to go. read more

I came upon this body shop after stopping at two other shops so that I can get a third estimate. I met with Paul and he looked at my bumper and stated that while he could give me an estimate, which I already knew was going to be expensive, but he said that he could secure it until I could come back for $150.00. I was astonished because none of the other shops offered me an option. He completed the job in less than an hour AND because he secured it with screws (non-visible), it looks good as new! What a wonderful experience I received at Sunny's Auto Collision & Repair. After visiting five different auto shops I was convinced that I had to pay thousands of dollars for such a minor incident (I will include the picture of the minor damage) however; that wasn't the case. I ended up paying less than half of what the other shops were estimating. The owner was so friendly and professional. He gave me honest feedback on the repairs. My car was fixed in two days! A few months ago, I was helping my brother shop for a car. We needed something affordable (cheap) and saw that this place had a few cars that would fit the bill. By affordable, I mean in the 4-5k range. We drove down from Austin to look at a specific car. Before we drove, we called and asked very specifically about this car. Does it run? Any major mechanical issues? We were told it was fine. We rolled in the parking lot and they gave us the keys. Upon opening the car, we noticed that it hadn't been cleaned. It was musty and dirty, with a few leaves in it. Ok, I understand. We're looking at budget cars. We started the car and pulled out of the parking lot. The engine sounded horrible. It rumbled and growled, giving the impression that it might either fall out of the car or explode at any moment. We turned around as soon as we were able, hoping to make it back to the lot. Upon arriving, we told them about the sound of the car and a couple of employees went to look at it. Clearly, they hadn't checked it before we drove down. I can't speak about their collision work, but would recommend against buying a car from here. Service is so-so and they clearly don't pay much attention to what they have sitting on the lot. read more

When i come pick up my car the guy work there ask me for a check from the insurance, i told him that i did not received any check, i ask him to call the insurance, he said no and told me that is my responsibility to call the insurance, and he turn around to help other customer. The offices look nice but the person who gave me my quote was rude, condescending and unprofessional. I went to another shop and since my dent didn't need to be repainted they recommended a dent removal company. I got the whole thing repaired for $300 in my driveway. Sunny's would have charged me $550 and from the sound of the other reviews - the work would have been substandard. Glad I checked Sunny's out on Yelp before I made the mistake of hiring them. read more

Sunny's Auto Collision and Repairs gave me the least expensive estimate and performed a great job. They finished the job a week before expected and my car looks just perfect now. Sunny the owner is a shady business owner. I took my car for repair and 3 months later the paint bubbled and clear coat was peeling. Sunny refuse to repair even with his so called lifetime guarantee. Stay away from this place. read more
