Fresno sure loves their cracker crust pizza. This is another example, ala Me N Ed's. I don't like cracker crust, it's very simple and cheap and not considered good pizza by most. But Fresno has mostly cracker crust places for some reason. It's baffling. The quality of toppings was really bad. The cheese was very poor quality and a odd color oil came off of it. I had to wait an hour for my pizza, so it was just warm. 2 demerits I ordered 1/4 of pizza with white garlic sauce and cheese. The rest of the pizza was supposed to be red sauce. This is an awesome pizza place that I am glad to have discovered! The location is a little out of my way but I will make the extra drive for the food! The restaurant itself is really nice and spacious. The service was great and fast! What drew me to try this place were the prices... such great price (cheaper than a lot of other locations) and the quality of the pizza! The pizza was delicious and the toppings were very generous, which I haven't found at other places around. My only dock, which is a minor one, is I was hoping for fresh mushrooms on the chicken garlic pizza, but the pizza was still delicious even without that. I look forward to eating in restaurant sometime soon and highly recommend everyone try this place! read more

Now these guys know how to run a pizza parlor! We had reservations at a different restaurant for a 10 person birthday party. The other place gave our tables away with no notice to us. No phone call, nothing. We even arrived a little early to set up. They weren't willing to work with us or allow us to use their (empty) event room without wanting another $100 on top of the food and other fees. We tried to get the event room fee waived due to their mistake, but they more or less told us that if we don't like it, we could go somewhere else. And that we did! In a last-minute pinch, we called Sunnyside Pizza to see if they could help us out. It was Sunday and busy. The owner seemed hesitant, but said "Yeah, head on over, we'll figure it out". Awesome! We got there and they took our orders right away, rearranged a few tables and we had a fantastic birthday party for the kiddo. It really illustrated how a family business with a can-do attitude can make a world of difference over a chain ran with utter indifference. The pizza was delicious and piled high with toppings, the staff were all friendly and very accommodating (Even offering to take a picture of us all at the table). On top of it all, their prices are really reasonable, especially for all the delicious ingredients you get. One thing is for sure, our days of going to a certain hat-made-of-straw restaurant are over and we'll be planning any pizza-based events strictly through Sunnyside Pizza. The pizza was good it had a little thinner crust than normal pizza which I enjoy. They were quick and very attentive to make sure we got our food and had all the condiments we needed. They have TV's with sports so you can sit back enjoy pizza and watch your favorite sport event! read more

This is my favorite pizza place in the Fresno/Clovis area! It's a drive from where I live but you really can't beat the deals, not to mention the delicious pizza. The staff at the restaurant are super kind and the service is great, even in a packed house on a Saturday! The red bell peppers/pepperoni/olives are my favorite topping combo and the cheesy bread is literally delectable. Pretty good pizza; ordered two for pickup. Crust thin and reminded me of Me and Eds (but better). They loaded their topping on my pizza and sauce is light. Asked for a goodie bag of parmesan, ranch, and etc. and they provided a generous amount. Price is reasonable for a Family size/4 toppings ($16.50).
