I did see a party inside with little Caesar's and stuff but idk if that's allowed for everybody or just a group party offering. WHAT THE HELL WAS I THINKING?!?! This is a TEXTBOOK 1 star shithole- I must have still been drunk off my ass writing that last update... Anyway- if I didn't make it clear enough in my first review- this is a REDNECK bar. I mean, I've been in here maybe 4 or 5 times in my life- (which is 4 or 5 times too many) and the crowd can range from "Toby Keith concert" to "The Hills Have Eyes" in 2.9 seconds flat. I mean- you'll see every kind of hillbilly here. The kind that prefer trucker hats. The kind that prefer dirty overalls. The kind that wear belt buckles so heavy, their pants sag. The simple man-child hick that wears a beer-stained t-shirt with the sleeves torn off with their favorite NASCAR driver on the front. Even some random douches and wiggas manage to find their way here... I know this place is an easy target, but tonight's experience was on the "not so good" end of my bar experiences. My friend and his fiancee got in a drunk argument, and it got a little heated during moments. She got up with her girl friend that I was talking to and walked to the back...yard I guess (I swear this fucking place is a converted barn) and my friend went out to follow her. Now that I was good and alone at the bar, one of the patrons (maybe the owner, for all I know) comes up to me and says... "You better handle yer BOY before WE do." ... and sure enough, every yippety doo-dah motherfucker in the place was staring my way. I got up, beer in hand, gave a silent nod, and walked outside to my friend being harassed outside by other hicks about him throwing his beer bottle in a garbage can. "THAT'S WHAT THESE CARDBOARD BOXES ARE HERE FOR, DUMBASS!" is what they were yelling at him about. Sorry, not everyone's familiar with white-trash "culture-" if you don't want people throwing their bottles away in a garbage can, why have it out there? Anyway, got everyone the fuck out of there before Cotton Eye Joe showed up and the banjo started playing. Even though I'll never come here completely willingly (my friend's fiancee is a "Clovis Girl," which is why we were all there in the first place) I'll never flat out refuse, either. I'm a glutton for punishment, and strangely enough I like coming out of places like this with a story to tell. I'm just glad I was still sober enough this time to realize this was a fight I couldn't win! read more

New ownership is a joke. I'm not saying I'm a hardcore veteran of forever, but I've been coming here over 10 years. We came with a party of 12 for a friend's birthday. 7 of the people were extremely good looking girls. Whys that matter they were girls? Oh I'll tell you, because that's all the bouncers were yelling at the line "hot girls only!" Well there was a line a mile long. I walked up to the bouncer, and asked EXTREMELY RESPECTFULLY if there was a VIP rate I could pay for us to get it.....Ummmm am I on another planet? This is a thing in life. This is a thing with bars/clubs. I offered to pay hundreds of dollars to get us in. I WAS NOT asking for special treatment AT ALL. I was asking what it'd cost to pay the bar to let us in. THIS IS A REAL THING that exists. The f*****g a**hole bouncer looked at me like I was from another f***ing planet and said "what!?" I repeated my self extremely respectfully again and he said "what the f**k are you talking about b***h!? Get the f**k outta my face!" That's how you people wanna do business now? All I asked was if I could offered to pay to eat a large party in. Your bouncers are a joke. Your business is a joke. I wasn't sure what to expect when I walked in, but this place truly impressed me. The atmosphere felt upbeat and welcoming from the moment I stepped inside. The staff handled the crowd smoothly and stayed professional the entire time, even with a long line outside. Once I got in, everything ran effortlessly -- quick service, friendly faces, and a vibe that made the night feel easy and fun. The team clearly puts effort into keeping things organized, and it shows. The place has a cool energy that makes you want to stay longer than planned. The drinks were made well, the music kept the mood high, and the whole environment felt like somewhere you'd want to bring friends for a good night out. The ownership & management of this bar struggle with abating the racist politics and banter that are implicated with being a Country dive-bar. Through conversations with the Owner's spouse/Co-owner , it was made clear that this may not even be within their means of understanding or at the very least something they care about. If they continue pandering to low-income white people, their business may survive. Came in had previously smoked a blunt and 45 minutes into our drinks the bartender/security top guy(Garett) tells us if where smoking weed pens in the bathroom we are getting 86'd FORKIFE. Mind you we haven't went to the bathroom only when we got here, so after all that 45 minutes he comes to us saying "someone is complaining that the bathroom smells like weed" fuck this bar nothing but white racist fucks, and why ONIY ask/tell us about the weed part? Ultimately, Fresno is a Latino town, so it goes with the territory). What I mean to say is, it is not uncommon to find someone who could easily be a grandmother share the dance floor with someone who could easily be a chollo. Everybody is welcome here. Also, the dance floor is surprisingly good for Fresno. Some nights aren't as poppin' as others, but when it's good, it's damn good. The DJ is pretty solid, he plays a mix of old school hip-hop, funk (Prince-type stuff), and Latin music. Now and then I'll leave the bar and the five-o will be outside. Personally, I've never felt unsafe here and would not let that discourage you from visiting. Really, this place is a gem.

We were there a little earlier than the night crowd so we had a bit of space and "quiet" time to ourselves in the back for quite some time, took our pics and whatnot. They have a lot of areas that would make for great photo ops for sure. We all ordered different drinks. White Lotus, Havana Mule, & Matchatini. I think we all unanimously agreed that the Matchatini was the best out of the bunch but they were all pretty good... the White Lotus being the strongest out of the bunch. Our waitress was very nice as well and suggested the Matchatini to the birthday girl, which she was already eyeing so that sealed the deal. I don't remember any food options on the menu, for those wondering... we had just came from dinner so that didn't matter to us but it's good to know for next time. The music... was interesting lol.
