We booked tickets online and arrived on the farm during our slotted time. We got up close with the alpacas and fed them with carrots and bowls of feed. One of the workers got the alpacas in position (with sunglasses and a hat) and we took pictures with them. We learned about the different types of alpacas but there were other animals on the farm like llamas, horses, sheep, chickens, and Archie the water buffalo. The whole experience took an hour. I recommend wearing closed-toe shoes as you'll be walking on unsteady ground in the dirt and grass. We went with kids and it was very kid-friendly. They had lots of fun feeding the alpacas and being around them.
