Choosing Vega Vineyard & Farm for our October 2025 wedding was one of the best decisions we made. The venue is absolutely gorgeous, but it was the people who made us fall in love with it. From day one, Jimmy and Jessi made us feel welcomed, cared for, and supported, and that feeling never changed. Every corner of the property felt like something out of a dream. From exchanging vows surrounded by stunning scenery to celebrating under the stars in the courtyard, each moment was more beautiful than we imagined. What makes Vega so special is that it feels like more than just a venue. It's a place we'll continue to visit for years to come, celebrating anniversaries and future milestones. The food was incredible. Our guests are still talking about the salmon, roasted lamb, fresh salads, and amazing orzo. Our company held its summer party at Vega Vineyard & Farm on July 16th, and the entire experience was absolutely wonderful. From start to finish, the team made everything seamless. Jessi coordinated with us for the months leading up to the event, and her planning and communication were fantastic every step of the way. On the day of the event, Kelly handled coordination and the bar, which made it easy for us to sit back and relax. Beyond the great service, the day itself was a blast. Our employees had an amazing time! Riding the tractor was a hit, visiting with the Scottish Highland Mini Bull was so much fun, and our animal encounter with the goat was a favorite too. The lunch was great -- the sandwiches were served on homemade bread that was really tasty. The setting was perfect, with ample shade, a nice breeze, and comfortable temperatures. If you're looking for a venue for a company party or special event, I can't recommend Vega Vineyard & Farm highly enough. In my day.. I have been to so many Vineyards & even a few Farms too. But this place.. Is a twofer! Yeah, baby! A Vineyard AND a Farm! Beat that Napa Valley! Ok, Ok.. I know Napa Valley is like THE Mecca of Wineries, at least in California, & going there once before, I kinda understand, kinda. But is it really that much better? In my humble opinion.. Ehh. It was whatever Sure, I'm down dropping a nice crispy Benjamin to get that aged, vintage 2013 Cab.. But will I really care, or even notice once that bottle is depleted & I'm now ordering the 2nd least expensive Chenin Blanc on the menu just to wash away all my worries. It was a BEAUTIFUL November afternoon just 4 days prior to Thanksgiving. We were heading back south from Paso Robles & decided to make a little pit stop before getting all the way back home. So my wife looked up wineries in the area that were kid friendly & Vega was at the top of the list. Walking in, we noticed that they had a little restaurant right at the entrance, so we went to put our name down for a table. Unfortunately, the wait time was a little longer than we wanted to wait, only because we had the kids with us, but the hostess suggested if we didn't want to wait, that they had more food on the other end of the farm in "Pops Place". Other than the wine itself, eating the food in "Pops Place" was probably the best move we could have unintentionally made that day. (I'll explain in a bit) So we slowly made our way towards the other side of the farm/vineyard & all I can say is, what a gorgeous property it was. The farm life, the outdoors, the weather, & I was with my Fam. It couldn't have been a better day! Once we got to Pops Place, it was like we entered into a whole new world. A huge area for kids with a jungle gym, stations for outdoor games & activities, benches to sit, even private cabanas you can reserve (not sure if there is a cost) & of course a little shack to order food and wine! So remember earlier when I said eating in Pops Place was probably the best move we could have made that day, Well here are 3 reasons why! 1) We ordered the George's Greek Gyro Pita w/fries (a beef gyro with lettuce, tomato, onions & tzatziki wrapped in a pita) and.. OH. MY. GAWDDD It was so flippin' GOOD! It was so good, that I didn't even have time to snap a pic, let alone set it down after taking that 1st bite. It was complete perfection! 2) Chicken Strips & Fries from the kids menu w/a side of ranch.. Let's just say, The kids loved 'em. 3) We washed it all down w/a beautiful, crisp, perfect for a fall day, 2024 bottle of their finest ALBARIÑO. & it was, EXCELLENT!! After we sat & ate, let the kids get out all of their energy, the fun at Vega continued. From there, we headed to feed the livestock on the property (lettuce sold onsite for a few bucks). There were Chickens, Goats, Pigs, Emu's & Sheep, and the kids and myself had a blast feeding 'em. After that, we stopped off at one of their gift shops to browse all of the fun stuff. Of course, we got the kids their requested candy! The staff we interacted with while at Vega were all so kind, welcoming & made us feel apart of the extended Vega family. Because of this, we will definitely be coming back next time we pass through. So, & this is where YOU come in! What a wonderful experience! Came here for our 5 year anniversary and they treated us so well! From complimentary tastings to a free bottle of champagne to the incredible service, they truly made our anniversary amazing. The scenery is beautiful and the food is delicious! Beautiful, relaxed winery with open grounds and a very welcoming atmosphere. We met Al and Reed, who were both incredibly hospitable and made the visit feel personal. We tried the 2024 Montepulciano and really enjoyed it. We also had the rockfish, Greek salad, and heirloom tomato salad -- everything tasted very fresh and flavorful. The property itself is a big part of the experience -- spacious, scenic, and easy to spend an afternoon at. There are also activities and plenty of room for the kids, which makes Vega a great option if you're visiting wine country as a family. With a little drizzle before it started raining again, we took advantage of the slight break in the wet weather. We walked around Vega vineyard and farm to get a few more steps in and enjoy visiting some animals too! We chose to pick up some wine and beer to drink while walking around the property instead of staying in one place to do a wine tasting. This property would be a cool spot to visit when the weather is nicer because it has so many things to do with such a large area to explore. The mercantile store has lots of merchandise and farm inspired goods in addition to lots of wine too. They do have vegetables to feed the animals which the kids were really enjoying. It was fun to see all the kids running around while the talked about and to the animals. Hopefully, we'll be visiting again with nicer weather so we can throughly enjoy their grounds, wine and more! We came here for a birthday and it was a perfect experience. Great for adults and kids, as you can walk to the animal area and feed them. They let you bring the wine. Favorite food was the pork belly sandwich and salad (comes with anchovies). Was not a fan of the burger but the short rib was great as well. Service was quick and food can out on time. Great seating areas, private shaded areas, and we did not feel too close or crammed. We had our wedding in July at Vega and we couldn't have been any happier! Jessi, the event director was amazing. She was so helpful every step of the way, including being there on our wedding day. The grounds and the venue were fantastic! All of our guests raved about the food and drinks. The staff was courteous and so friendly. I had this vineyard saved in bookmarks for a while now and finally got a chance to stop by and check it out with my husband. They close late on Friday and Saturday evening so we got lucky. We had dinner here and some delicious wine. Very welcoming and friendly service by the hostess and waiter. We ordered meatballs Caesar salad and Cacio Pepe pasta that was amazing. The food tasted delicious. I had a glass of rose which I loved and had to take a bottle home. The grounds are beautiful. A very big vineyard which has animals on property. You can see sheep donkeys and more. So cute. They also have event space that has a gorgeous ambiance . There were two events happening while we were here. So beautiful. I can say this is a very family friendly winery so bring your kids and parents and uncles and have a great time here. Eat drink and enjoy. You won't be disappointed. The food here is phenomenal. We had the lamb lollipops and the caico de Pepe fresh pasta out of this world worth driving all the way from Los Angeles to eat here ! This place is a MUST VISIT on your next trip to Buelton/ Solvang. They have live musicians playing both at the front restaurant where you enter, and also at the back area of the vineyard. The grounds are beautiful and it's FAMILY FRIENDLY, complete with a place to feed kids (goats;))and also a full blown play set and lawn toys. The wine was good but pricey for a bottle of rosé it was $40 something. But when in Buelton, it's worth it. It was crisp and tasty. I also got food from the restaurant. It was a Greek salad and zucchini fritters. The salad was loaded with goodness and fresh veggies, while the fritters were good but not at all what I'd envisioned. This was the highlight of my family's trip. The winery is truly so family friendly. We started a large group visit with a wine tasting and brunch at the restaurant on property. Our waiter/sommelier was so personable and kind. He was fun to talk to and still very knowledgeable. After that we snagged a few bottles and found a few tables tucked away for our group to chat while some of the babies napped and others explored. We loved the farm animals that you could feed. The lettuce for purchase was a huge hit. We eventually found our way to the playground and outdoor games. The kids loved the space. I think a smaller group than ours would have loved the cabana set up, especially if you knew you'd spend the whole day here with kids too. This was the final stop on our wine tour. We let then know we proffered dry red and they were kind enough to cater the tasting that direction. Each wine was presented as "fruit forward" but really didn't have much flavor, despite the final wine being their "must try" option. We felt a bit rushed as we were relaxing and talking and they would bring the next wine before most of us finished the previous glass. I'm working today, a wine tour in Buellton and the six I'm driving asked me to join them for lunch. There really is a "free lunch" once in a while. Limited menu with some variety, you'll find something here to try. l went with the GLT. think gyro with side of greek potato salad. The others tried the pepperoni flat bread, I saw a couple of the deviled eggs, soup was good, and the rest I don't recall. What was very nice was the outdoor setting. What a delight wine tasting experience. This place deserves ample time to visit not only for the wine but strolling through the grounds. So much to see: garden, petting zoo, market place, great food and a playground for the kids. Vega is such a unique spot with a full farm onsite - lots of cute animals that you can feed and a farm stand. Plus they have a whole kids area with a playground. There's also a ton of parking onsite and a few different event spaces. They get busy so a reservation I'd recommend many one beforehand just to make sure you get a seat. We visited for SYV Restaurant Week and it was an all around wonderful experience! Our table wasn't quite ready when we arrived so we waited at the gorgeous bar. We were sat at a table in the covered patio. It was a chilly night but there were lots of heaters. We ordered a wine tasting and the prix fix menu. Everything was delicious! The property is beautiful and features a beautiful garden area for seated wine tasting and they have a full kitchen as well as beer and cocktails for those that want a break from wine. We showed up and we were pleasantly surprised to see they had some live music. They did ask if we had reservations which we did not. They still sat us right away. They first sat us under the shade and since it was a sunny day, I asked to be moved which they were quick to do. The hostess did inform us that we would have to be done in the next hour since there were reservations. I ordered the Vega farm butternut squash and kale flat bread which was amazing. I also ordered the roasted golden and red beet salad and added shrimp which I also loved! My friend wasn't fond of the food Or the experience. I just don't think it was her cup of tea and she also mentioned the vibe was off with some of the staff. Maybe next time I will make a reservation. We were camping at Flying Flags and were referred here. We e-biked to the property (1.5 miles) and got a great outdoor spot for 6 of us. We weren't planing on winetasting but wanted a glass of wine and apps or light lunch. I am gluten free so ordered the BEST potato leek soup. My parents got the lamb lollipops (4) and were SO happy! My husband got the cheese focaccia something tasting situation- anyway- we were all happy. Then we caught up with our teen kids that were exploring the farm and they had a blast. From the second we started communicating with Jessi we knew we found someone special that we could trust without reservation. The initial tour sealed the deal. Not only were we provided with updates, but everything was super clear and timely. We cannot say enough about how important it was to feel like everything was being handled and Vega made us feel like we never had to ask. We can't praise the venue and staff enough. Then the big day came -- wow. They exceeded our expectations in every way. We got married in the lawn bowling area, and it was perfect. The visual was just stunning. Our guests constantly commented on the natural beauty. As an added bonus, the space needed little adornment. Moving into the cocktail hour, everything was flawless. The staff were always around but stayed in the background, spotting little details and making sure everything ran perfectly. The team even provided us with our own little cocktail appetizer plate and drinks so we could taste what our guests had. The appetizers were even better than they had been at the tasting and our guests raved. The venue was absolutely stunning at night. We'd seen pictures, but seeing it in person was something else entirely. The food was also next level. We had multiple guests come up to us and let us know that they had never had better wedding food. The staff went the extra mile -- we can't express this enough. Over the course of the weekend, we got to know more and more of the team, and every single one of them took a genuine interest in making our weekend exceptional. We rented a cabana in Pop's Place for a private event and it was so awesome. Planning everything with Jessi made it super easy, and great to walk in to a space with everything set up before hand. Our server Arianna was amazing too! The Rosata was the favorite wine of the group. But the experience was too cool- from the $10 tractor ride, meeting Tai the Highland Bull, the animal area, and the giant lawn games in Pop's Place- it was perfect for our group to do something that wasn't just drinking wine (though we did plenty of that too!).
