So when I got a trip that came to Abeel St Kingston (nearby) just the other day and saw my gas gauge, I knew it was time! I've been planning to get gas and write a review from a nearby store, when I came in, but chose this place that day anyway. The entrance to this store is a bit thin. To veer into the place, there was a car coming out. I ended up clipping the curb with my front tire. Then with my gas on my passenger side, I pulled up to the spot near the door making the entry easy. There was a car directly in front of me (who later backed up to pull out), and so there I stopped - close to the pump. I thought my decision was right. The pumps had no problems with my GasBuddy card - and I seamlessly took care of the pay-at-the-pump transaction. I inserted the card and typed my Driver ID (like a PIN), pumped and was able to take care of the transaction. However, just as I was about to exit, some weirdo decided to pull up so far into the pumping area that I thought they were about to hit me. My first thought was to move backward, but when I realized there's almost no space backing up, (with another car being possible there), I knew I had to veer someway around them after giving them a loud and long horn-beep. I moved around them easily, until the end. I heard a loud "crunch" (nothing happened to either car) and I noticed he continued to pull through and out. I don't think I'll be coming here again. I know I had come here in the past without problems, but now I've shed a different light on this place. This annoying other a**whole really changed my perspective on how this place is seen in my eyes. Please give us a little more space to move around your location.

This Cumberland Farms is in the middle of nowhere, inexplicably with a Stop & Shop and Shell across…read morethe street. (Maybe there was more over the hill. I don't know, I didn't go that way.) I imagine the heads of Cumberland Farm and Shell met there when it was a grassy field, and decided there, in quiet New York, they would put up rival gas stations for exhausted travelers and theirs would be a great rivalry for the local history books. There are no obvious signs of victory or defeat to indicate who may be winning. I went with Cumberland Farms because I noticed it with enough time to turn. The station has like eight pumps available, and a pretty big store for snacks. In addition to your regular chips and sodas, they also have hot dogs, coffee, and grab & go sandwiches. It seems to have a strong local following; the other customers seemed to know the cashier. At present, they seem to be having AC issues because it's warm in there! Not unbearable, but not for extended periods of time for people who prefer the fall or winter. There are public restrooms which are actually pretty clean, that earned this station five stars for me!

The setup of this gas station is quite good and easy to navigate. Plenty of pumps and the inside was set up decently. I was able to grab a drink and get what I needed before I headed back on my way. Employees were pleasant and helpful. They answered my questions that I had about directions and were quite helpful.

This is a newer model of the Cumberland Farms chain. This store was recently built after the older…read morestyle Cumberland Farms was tore down to make room for this new one. The new store is at least 3x larger than the older one. As such, it features an updated and modern design, the parking lot is larger, and there are many more gas pumps. There is an abundance of parking on the front and side of the building, with doors on both sides and entrances on both the 17K and Rock Cut Road sides of the parking lot. This is much more efficient than the old store. The inventory is wide-ranged. There are a few shelves with perishable foods and miscellaneous items, but much of the store contains fresh food -- hot or cold. There is a variety of a little bit of everything. Staff are friendly and plenty. I stopped in just before midnight on a weeknight and there were 4 employees working. Two were stocking the shelves, one was cleaning, and the other was a cashier (who was also cleaning). Staff were extremely friendly and 2 employees went out of their ways to advise me that uniformed personnel (military, law enforcement, etc.) always get coffee for free. A few customers came in and out, but the amount of staff on hand was easily able to keep up with the flow, plus there were still enough employees to get the other jobs done (stocking, cleaning, etc.). For a gas station / convenience store, this is impressive. I hope it lasts.

We were on our way to the orchards for apple picking so we filled up the gas tank, bought beverages and snacks. The bathrooms are incredible clean and the staff is nice and friendly.
