I came around 1 1/2 hours after the call and they pulled my car into the garage for service immediately. They said it would be about 30 minutes so I took a walk in the neighborhood and enjoyed the nice spring weather. I thought the man said it would be $8 for each test/inspection but no! It was $8 TOTAL and they even have a sign outside to advertise that deal too! I came back in 30 minutes and luckily I only needed an inspection so I actually only paid $3 today. I would recommend this place to everyone for these services because they are priced well and work very fast. I will be back in a few months for my $5 emissions test LOL

I didn't have my jumper cables with me, so I walked over to the shop, and Charlie was kind enough to walk over to my car with me. He managed to get my car started, and realized that it only needed a new battery. Charlie and his team happened to have a fiat battery in stock (!!!), changed it immediately, and had me on my way ASAP. I am so lucky to have broken down right next door, and it was even luckier that Old Town Shell happened to be open on a holiday- they even got me back on the road when they were starting to close up for the night. Their prices were also very fair. I cannot thank you enough! I recommend that everyone check out this little shop if your car is in need of some service.

You can go to Midas for 40-50 bucks. After telling them that price seemed a little high, they tried to influence me to bring it in anyway, which I knew would put me in a situation where I had to uncomfortably negotiate or walk out and start over. I got service done here a while back as well and they were by far the most expensive choice. I unfortunately did not want to call another tow service to remove it from the location so I got the work done there.They tried charging me a $200 diagnostic fee. They said it's an hourly rate, but the mechanic who looked at my car slipped up and said he only "diagnosed" it within 15 minutes. They refunded me the fee after I explained to them my perspective which was nice, but the overall price of the service was much higher than other mechanics I got quotes from. Perks on the customer service quality, but genuinely if you're looking for the same level of service at a lower price, I'd recommend going elsewhere.

I'd had a oil change scheduled for the weekend but I was a little bit overdue. I didn't realize they had a service station there too. I bought a couple quarts of the oil I needed (which was quite reasonably priced for a smaller retail location) and the cashier asked me if I needed help putting it in the car. Only because it was raining and I was in a hurry, I accepted her offer. Almost immediately a polite service mechanic comes out, pops my hood and puts in a quart. He checked the oil level and tells me that's all I need, and I could take the other quart in for a refund. I told him I'd keep it for later. Fortunately, I actually had some cash on me for a tip but he seemed surprised with the offer. I was in and out in 10 minutes. There's another gas station next door that's always a couple pennies cheaper but for that level of service, I will remember to the excellent service I got at the Exxon and fill 'er up there.

As a broke young professional, I came to this Exxon 3 years ago after I had neglected my car's check engine light for over 8 months. Yes I know, it was stupid but with finances low I chose to put it off instead of dealing with it head first. I brought my car here solely because it was the closest service station to my apartment where I felt my car could MAYBE make it before breaking down (for the love of god my worst nightmare would be broken down in the middle of S. Washington during rush hour. What I didn't expect was the care and respect that the owner gave me. I've been shamed by mechanics before or looked down on as a naive young person. This owner was empathetic and took the time to be completely transparent. When I went home I researched the costs of labor and parts for the services he was going to provide to get my vehicle up and running again and I was honestly getting a very good deal. When I picked my car up the next day the owner then came out to give me the keys and told me that he had a daughter my age with the same car and he was going to make sure it would go for another 100k miles. I cannot tell you how much that made me feel better. Since then I have moved out of state. Since that visit I have only had to have my battery and tires replaced which for my vehicle is pretty average maintenance wise. What I can tell you is that I have made 25 500mi+ road trips this past year in the very same car that I took into this shop thinking I would be told it was a junk car. All I have to say is not only do I trust this establishment but I can easily recommend them to others due to their fair practices and general kindness to their customers.

They were busy when I walked in, but they took the time to take a close look at my brakes. They assessed that my brakes are good for at least another 20k miles. It is sad that the dealership Passport Infiniti that I bought my car from has such a dishonest service department.
