We went to this restaurant not knowing what kind of food it was since it was connected to our hotel but boy were we impressed! The butter chicken was so flavorful and delicious I was so happy we stumbled in for a late dinner. Definitely would recommend if you're looking for Indian food. read more

On our way to our hotel, we got a text an invitation to have dinner at the Sunridge Bar & Grill. And we decided to accept. (We were going to have a picnic in our room, sharing my leftover lunch). After going through their menu, we picked on Bolognese Spaghetti and Oriental Salad. Bolognese Spaghetti with Wagyu Beef and and Italian Pork Sausage, served with garlic toast. Always a good choice, if nothing sounds better than Italian. The Oriental Salad, grilled chicken, all that good stuff on sesame dressing. The only problem, was the grilled chicken was as hard as concrete, cold and . . . we're saving it so we can slice it thinner to make a sandwich or with rice and veggies or salad. We ended up having a to-go container, and have that picnic in our room. We're tempted to call back, if they have ice cream. But we didn't. read more

We stopped in on our travels. I had the lamb curry and my husband had the butter chicken. Everything was 5 star delicious! Very authentic. Fabulous sauces, and so nice to get a break from normal travel food. Nice atmosphere and friendly and helpful service. Food arrived very quickly. Highly recommend! read more

This restaurant is a hidden gem! The chef does an incredible smoked pork chop...and it's not your momma's little pork chop! It is so flavorful and tender and thick, you've never tasted anything like it! Had the homemade carrot cake to top it off and it did not disappoint either! Food was great, pricing is way too high. $22 per person! Apparently there are two menu's, we were only given a copy printed menu in a plastic paper cover, which was not clean. Another table was given a professionally printed menu of steaks and burgers. read more

Came in on a Sunday for Indian food. The Indian food chef was off, but disappointment turned to a blessing. I had the best pork chop ever. Nothing even close. Mesquite smoked and the rub was amazing. I live 80 miles away, and will come back just for that pork chop. read more

Horrible...they are from India and thinks the locals want to have dots on their foreheads and eat their nasty food. The place was amazing years back. After Carl left the place has sucked. Last time I ate there I ordered a salmon dinner. (now you cannot even order that, just their quick dishes of nasty India food). The waitress brought it out in about 3 minutes...I was thinking "there is no way". I looked at it for a minute and stuck my finger right in the middle of it that looked frozen. IT WAS FROZEN!! We had the sirloin and it was cooked perfectly, with Gorgonzola mashed potatoes with a nice combination of fresh vegetables. dinner was so good we had desert, crème brûlée with bananas, so yummy. We decided to eat at our hotel restaurant to save time but it was a big mistake. Ten minutes after we requested water, I decided to go to the bar and fetch it myself. When I asked our waitress if the Herbacious burger came with anything, she said fries. Yet we were charged $2 for fries. The fries were very undercooked and I would have ordered a side salad if I had known they weren't included. In addition, the cheese that was listed as coming on the burger was missing. The expensive a la carte premade veggie burger had no flavor and cost $16. read more

A large group of us stayed at the hotel for many days, and ate here numerous times. The food at Sunridge Bar & Grill is surprisingly delicious, although quite pricey. The service is attentive and friendly for the most part, except for the bartender/server with the broken glasses. He is arrogant and kinda rude, and I wasn't the first one in our group to notice. One of the other servers, Drew, is a sweetheart, a great server and was very accommodating. The bolognese pasta is a dish that stood out to me, as did the mango habanero chicken wings. I did wish they offered half salads, as it's often nice to get an appetizer and a small salad as a meal. Or sometimes, you're not super hungry and just want a small healthy salad after being on the road. Ask for extra garlic and cheese on the fries! read more

Ordered 2 drinks off the seasonal drink menu. Should have asked the price. The drinks were fine at a $10 price point but the bill was $38 for 2 drinks with no heads up. We had a delicious dinner at the Sunridge Bar and Grill. I gave it 5 stars for how good the overall experience was. I had the smoked pork chop and it was absolutely delicious. I told my husband I wanted to go back for breakfast and have another! Very clean. The bartender was excellent in that my waiter didn't understand my drink order and so she came over to my table to make sure that she was going to make what I wanted, and it was delicious. I would make a point to stop at this restaurant again while driving from Seattle to California. read more

Food was very good but expensive. 2 adults and 2 children our bill was over $70 including tip, no alcohol, no sodas. The staff was very very friendly and we were very thankful for that as the kids were tired and hungry. Ate here because it was attached to the hotel and quick to get to. Limited kids menu. What a damn joke, do not eat at this place! Over priced and horrible service. You'd get a better meal at McDonalds. Baker city closes up pretty early, even on say a Friday night and this place takes advantage of that and gouges. If I could I would rate this place a negative 5 star. I stayed at the Sunridge Hotel for 10 days and made use of this restaurant almost every day -only missed Sunday when it is closed. Slightly on the expensive side but enjoyed every meal. In my view the servings were on the large side, but everything always looked good and tasted very good. Nearly worked my way through the menu twice. Minor comment: as a long stay at the hotel I could have done with a slightly larger menu. Congrats to the chef - Manny - for meeting a high standard. For those who enjoy a drink with their meal there is also a wide range available from the bar. Then to put the icing on the cake, the staff are friendly and efficient. read more

What a nice surprise in Baker City! Our waiter, Ankur, was very knowledgeable and helpful. I had the Wagyu Burger which was cooked to perfection which came with fries. The Bar has many selections and they have many beers on tap - served very cold with a frosted glass. The bar and restaurant have recently been remodeled and are very comfortable. Poor service. Wanted to like Sunridge Bar & Grill, but left me sorry we came. Very poor service. Can't say how the food tastes as we never received our food order. They brought the wrong order which should have been no problem, they could have fixed the mistake (instead of the seafood platter we ordered to share, they brought a plate of spaghetti), instead the waiter tried (loudly) to argue the order was correct. Customer service is top notch. The chef/Manny and the manager/Drew both came out to ask me how I wanted my salmon cooked. Then they checked on me mid meal. Server/bartender Marta was fantastic. Great food, even greater staff. We had a wonderful time here, The smoked pork chops are amazing and salmon salad to die for. These people really care about your experience here.
