No matter we enjoyed our sandwiches anyway. The only think that could've been better was the rye was too dry. Soft rye is the best. Maybe it's not as popular. We also got milkshakes. Wow! Best, most flavorful milkshake I have had in a very long time. Mine was coffee with some chocolate syrup. My husband got raspberry chocolate, which was a raspberry base with little raspberry-filled chocolate pieces that melted creamy in your mouth. He let me try some at the bottom of his cup. We will be back next time we make this trip! It was well worth the slight detour into downtown Baker City off I-84.

I had the grilled cheese, which was gooey and delectable. My partner had the breakfast hash. The fresh OJ is also highly recommended. Everything was absolutely delicious. The service was great -- the woman at the register didn't even judge that my partner and I ordered enough food for six people (and it was just the two of us). Very cute space.

The cafe was charming and was bustling! I ordered an iced vanilla latte and cortado at the counter and picked up a few pastries to go: blueberry scone, bacon and egg brioche bun, and a maple bun. Our coffees were great! My vanilla latte wasn't too sweet and I liked the taste of the espresso beans they used. As for the pastries, my favorite was the scone while my husband liked the brioche bun. Our least favorite was the maple bun since it was a little too dense for us. We'll definitely be back!
