But the center is excellent in its care and also designed for people with low to moderate incomes and your timing has to spot on to get a temporary room. He says this is his home now and he will never leave until the end. This is a beautiful clean facility that does not smell like many other senior homes. A month after moving into his room he had to have Open Heart Surgery. His motivation was the loved he had already received in his "new family at Libby Bortz". The love and amazing care given made him recover faster to get home. The staff sent him cards and called to see how he was doing. I could have never imagined a place to take such good care of my dad. Every Friday they come in and clean his room and take his laundry to be cleaned. They strip the bed and put clean sheets on the bed. When I say they clean, they really clean thoroughly. The pictures, blinds everything is spotless. Then the clothes are returned and folded very nicely. In the dining room they are given assigned seating which my dad loves as it feels like a family. The food is always delicious and the wait staff treats him very special. They make sure all are accounted for at meals which means a lot to our family. He is given a snack at bedtime so it is just more love given to check that he is doing fine. They have activities daily which he likes to attend including exercise class. They do it all from haircuts to a foot clinic and a in home doctors group comes in every few weeks. Libby Bortz is a shining example of what senior care should look like. Infact, they should be the model for our country. It shows how good management and a good price point can bring together people to love our seniors as they age. Aging with dignity and love is this wonderful facility.

Michelle is likely your first point of contact since she is, I believe, the Director of "Sales and Marketing" (?). Kara I believe works for her and fills in for Michelle when needed. Both are fabulous, but Michelle really knows her stuff and understands what needs to be done if you are thinking of being part of their community. The place itself is really nice and elegant, with lots of energy and positive activities. Beautiful walking area outside for memory care residents. Trails right outside to walk, are abundant and also very nice as you walk thru the park right there/golf course. Different sized Rooms make up assisted living (AL) --studio, 1 BR, 2 BR. Memory care (MC) only has 2 sizes of studios--385 and 520 sq feet. The views you have contribute to the price as well. They also have Assisted Living with their Essentials support, provides a bridge between AL and MC. Food is pretty nice. Heritage week was being offered where unique foods from other areas around the world were being featured. Service was pretty great. Kind, compassionate when talking to residents. Beautiful set-up with dishes being offered on display as you walk in. Love the front desk team. All super nice and energetic. Very knowledgable and helpful. A nice sized theater for movies. Arts and crafts room. Library space. Outside deck/seats and tables with a very calming and beautiful view. Exercise class in the morning and other activities throughout the day. Live music/happy hour. Super fun all around. If you are looking for a super nice place where your loved one will be well taken care of, and feel safe and happy, this is your place.

From the moment we walked into Cherry Hills Assisted Living and Memory Care (CHAL), we knew it was special. The atmosphere felt warm and welcoming, and the staff truly seemed to care about the residents. My aunt moved in about a year ago, and it was a huge adjustment - she had been living independently and had no plans to move. The team at CHAL went above and beyond to help her settle in and feel comfortable in her new home. They were patient, kind, and always took the time to make sure she was doing okay. Now, a year later, she's happy and thriving. She enjoys the staff and the beautiful facility. It's such a relief knowing she's well cared for and surrounded by people who genuinely care about her. We're so grateful to everyone at CHAL for making what started as a stressful transition into such a positive experience. I can't recommend them enough!

The reason why I hadn't gotten her into her own "apartment" or facility, is because of what my mind thought an assisted living facility was going to be. I didn't want my Grandmother to be in a place that wasn't well maintained, or where the staff were abusive in any way etc etc. All the horror stories that one hears about pertaining to elder care facilities. Well, The Granville is ANYTHING but! From the second we toured the location right before the pandemic, I was put at ease. The residents seemed happy, the entire place was decorated just beautifully and extremely clean, and the staff was just so nice! It really felt like home! The help and expertise that they provided to me in getting my Grandmother approved was also a Godsend, because all of the paperwork can be tricky for someone not familiar! My Grandmother's apartment was just so lovely too! She was able to decorate it how she wanted, and there is a little kitchenette area with a fridge and microwave so she can have her favorite snacks. She has been there over a year now and I couldn't have asked for a better location to have provided the utmost care during the pandemic. They even took the necessary precautions one week ahead of time before the Government shut everything down. To accommodate all the residents who now were unfortunately unable to leave their rooms, must have been such an undertaking!! But the staff still made my Grandmother and the other residents not feel neglected and forgotten about. Making little crafts and spending a little more time with the residents so they didn't feel so alone during this scary time. They went above and beyond making sure everyone was kept safe and stayed healthy and just did an incredible job and am so grateful to everyone at The Granville. I could go on and on about the staff being just perfect and everything I could have ever hoped for, for my Grandmother. If you have a loved one and you are feeling apprehensive about locating a place where you can rest easy at night knowing they're being cared for properly and with respect, then look no further. My Grandmother absolutely LOVES living at The Granville! She has made friends, still has her independence and adores the staff! Sara, the executive director helped us with the transition paperwork and made it totally painless. The employees really make you feel like they are part of the extended family. Joe, Donna, Alicia, are just a few of the great "family" members that always have a friendly smile. I could go on and on about all of the wonderful things about the Granville. Since dad moved in I have had to move about 60 miles away and I would love to have him closer, but I haven't found any other facility that can match the Granville. For me, the drive is more than worth it to have him live here. The Granville is always clean, the employees are warm and friendly, activities are available, the meals nutritious, meds are accurate and the apartments wonderful. Since dad has lived here they have spent money on capital improvements to keep the facility in top shape and comfortable for their residence. The contrast was palpable. I realized how sterile and commercial the other places were. Sure they were new and fancy, but Crossroads is also beautiful and less than nine years old. My gut said that Crossroads was warm and caring, and I couldn't have been more right about that. The staff are amazing. They genuinely care about every resident and treat them with respect and kindness. They are never too busy to talk with a resident no matter how illucid that person may be, and they make them laugh. The caregivers go out of their way to make sure everyone is happy and comfortable, and they know the name of every resident. Crossroads provides lots of fun activities and serves delicious meals. The place is very clean and nice-smelling. It's also telling that the Executive Director's office is in the same area as the residents and that she keeps her door open for residents to drop in anytime. I feel so lucky to have my beloved wife in their excellent care.

Sitting at the computer in tears scrolling through assisted living websites, I stumbled across Stacy's Helping Hands here on Yelp. I called the company and reached the owner, Pam Silverberg. It was probably one of the single best things that ever happened in this painful, complicated road of caring for my dad. Pam was warm, friendly, and interested in helping me. Before i even engaged her services, she gave so much of her time to me. She wasn't another one of the sales people in the assisted living business - she just seemed like a concerned friend. And she had a tremendous amount of knowledge and experience. We worked together for several months because I was so nervous about moving my dad. But she was patient and kept talking with me through good options. She was a fantastic sounding board. She got to know my dad's needs and made recommendations based on his needs and my concerns. She visited several facilities with me and became a good interface between me and the facility we finally chose. She was alongside us as we moved my dad and continued to interface with the facility and advocate for us in a couple of situations that arose when we moved my dad in. No one should navigate this road alone. Pam at Stacy's Helping Hands genuinely wants to help people navigate this arduous road. I feel like she's really become a friend in this whole process. If you're exhausted and nervous and overwhelmed - call Pam! Even if you don't engage her services, you will find a listening ear and undoubtedly a bit of sincere and valuable advice.

The resident's behavior really shows the quality of life they're experiencing, they're active, social, engaged in activities and friendly. My previous place they all shut themselves in their room and were antisocial. The most important way I can put it, I'm an experienced nurse who's seen how good and bad a community can be, I've seen the inner working of this building and I trust it and am confident enough in it I'd put my family here.

It smells like literal death. Not only do I wonder about the well being of nearby residents but the elder residents themselves is my main concern here. I asked a nearby resident how often this occurs and they exclaimed that it happens weekly for hours at a time. Why on earth is this place allowed to release this poisonous gas into the air for hours on end and legally have people living at the residence who are inhaling this at the same time? Something is not right here. This needs to be reported to the EPA or some type of environmental agency. The people living here are probably uanware that this is happening. 0/5
