Hired by the families to give support to their seniors, I have gotten to know not just the residence of Lincoln Meadows but also the staff . Having both my parents in assistant living in AZ and now working with other families I have seen many . But I wanted to take the time to write a quick review about Lincoln meadows as I honestly can say they are up there on the scale of my favorite places to work and had I known this years ago would of moved my folks there. Staff is amazing and love their compassion for their residence, very clean, price I hear is comparable ,food is better than most and location is even better. This is by far, the best community in the area. The staff here are so caring and they smile and greet you as you pass them in the hallways. Somebody from management is always available to address any concerns that I might have about my parents. I believe my parents are receiving the best care available. My dad requires a lot more care than my mother does and moving them. Here took a lot of stress and pressure off of my mother, and she is thriving as she no longer has to worry about caring for my father as much. My dad is thriving too, and has been working with the therapy people that are in this place. The food is wonderful and I try to eat here every weekend with my folks. read more

This place has completely gone downhill since the new "director" was hired. Everything is blamed on "corporate" and covid. One example is in the independent livig, a community, a community dryer has not worked since November 2022. I have asked numerous times as to when it will be fixed and all I get is lies. Please don't send your loved ones here unless you have someone to keep an eye on things. They care about the corporation $$$, not about their residents. read more

This place spends more money decor, flooring and looks then they do on care or staff. The Nurse Ratched in charge of Assisted Living lies to families and is a horrible person.. I wouldnt allow her to take care of a plant much less your loved ones. These large corporate places only care about profits. Don't put your loved ones in this place. read more

My mother moved into the independent living side of LM's in 2016 at the age of 90. The facility and staff were exactly what she needed as she was starting the transition from true independence to structure and increasing need for some assistance. The facility provides a variety of programs depending on the desires of each resident, and the residents tend to be extremely supportive and helpful of each other as they span the full spectrum of independent to assisted living. Meals were, the majority of time, above par in my opinion. Sunday brunch is a great value and a great time to visit. The wait staff did a great job of learning all of the residents names as well as their preferences. Truly remarkable when you consider the inevitable turn-over in a senior facility. Recently we had to move Mom to AL and chose a different location for family benefit and travel considerations, but hated to say good-bye to staff and residents alike that had become "family". The only thing holding back on a 5 star recommendation is some recent turnover and inconsistencies in house cleaning staff. read more

This facility is not all it's cracked up to be. The floor plan, staging, and exterior may look great, but it's lipstick on a pig. There's an unusual turn over in staffing - even in management, considering there have been at least 5 directors or more in the last 2 years. Caregiving staff is always short (and marketing sells this idea of "private caregivers for each resident" which is far from the truth). There's really only 1 caregiver scheduled for at least 20-25 residents in the assisted living area alone - and that's when they are not short-staffed! In addition, there's always new faces in the dining room practically from week to week! Lincoln Meadows is extremely over priced with costs for just living (with NO assistance) in AL starting around $4200+ per month. God forbid your loved one actually needs assistance in the Assisted Living section of the community - escorting, med passing, dressing toileting, and bedmaking (just to name a few) can add thousands of dollars more to the cost of living at this not-so-great facility. And take my word for it, you are NOT getting your money's worth!!!! Management is incompetent and doesn't actually "know" any of the residents. If you ask them a question about your parent/loved one, you will get a more honest and accurate update from the caregivers, NOT the nurses or administrator - I guarantee it!!! I have never seen any of the nurses on staff "working" on the floor. Instead they sit in the office doing only God knows what. No wonder they don't know their residents! The dining staff is very rude, and the food is not that great. Residents may have to wait at least 45 minutes or more just to be served in the dining room! Also, If you look more closely - inside the facility - you will see the building is not all that clean either. The laundry rooms seem to ALWAYS have broken machines, no laundry soap, and/or is not clean. You can walk past some of the residents' rooms (if their door is open) and the apartments reek of foul odors. There have also been hints of verbal/physical abuse from caregiver to resident, and sexual harassement/intimidation from management to staff. This is the short version of my observation, but I wouldn't recommend this facility to my worse enemy!!!!!! read more

We looked at Lincoln Meadows about a year before we actually moved Mom in. She was very reluctant to make the move. She is 85, very proud and struggling with early signs of dementia. She said she didn't want to be around all those "old" people! She protested the move and at one point said she would rather be dead than live there. I explained to Lincoln Meadows her "attitude", and they told me this is not unusual, and reassured me that they felt Mom would fit in and love it there. They suggested we have lunch with a few of the ladies in their dining room to sample the food, and to let Mom chat with a few residents without any Lincoln Meadows staff at the lunch. We had a delightful lunch, and met two very informative nice ladies that are very happy residents of Lincoln Meadows! Mom agreed to be put on the waiting list! We just moved in a couple of weeks ago! The apartment is beautiful, the food is wonderful, the residents are extremely friendly and happy, and the staff went way beyond the call of duty to help us with the move and to make us feel comfortable there. I can't say enough good things about this place! If you are having reservations, all I can say is we had them too, and found this place to exceed all of our hopes for a place for Mom. This is a wonderful community and we feel blessed to have Mom is such a nice facility where she is safe and can meet other people her age. There are tons of activities, so there is something fun for them to do every day. The staff even takes the time to learn the names of all the residents - The respect and love they show to each resident is nothing short of amazing. I would recommend Lincoln Meadows to anyone looking for a safe, comfortable place for their loved one to spend their "golden" years. I honestly can't think of a single way they could improve on what they are doing... It 's the best! read more

My husband moved in to Lincoln Meadows five days ago. They are taking amazing care of him. Everyone is friendly and caring. I especially want to compliment Mary Crawford. We are pleased to have my mother in independent care at Lincoln Meadows. The staff is friendly and knows the residents' names. There are numerous in house activities and out of house opportunities to get out and about...shopping, field trips, etc. The facility is clean and well kept. New siding was recently installed after only a few years since opening. We are very satisfied as is she. read more

My parents were looking for assisted living after living in the home that they built 60 years ago. We found Lincoln Meadows and they are very happy! The place is 5 years old and beautiful! Their apartment is clean and spacious and near the exercise room, sky lounge and theater room. Everyone is so friendly and there are plenty of activities to keep them busy! Michael was very helpful in getting them the right unit and it all happened so quickly! The food is delicious and the wait staff is very polite and efficient! I am a physical therapist and I work at Lincoln Meadows, but not for them. They are a great group of people to work with. It is clean, pleasant, and people are always busy. They seem to really care about the residents. And the food always smells so good :-) I really enjoy working there. read more

After touring numerous retirement/assisted living communities for a place for my FIL, we chose Lincoln Meadows for proximity to our home, the option to move him to more advanced care when necessary, the activities, and the ability to reserve him a spot on a "wait list" until space came available. Apparently, it's a popular place. The refundability of his deposit was also a plus in case something unforeseen should arise during what we were informed could be an indefinite wait. After several months the situation did, unfortunately, change and we requested our considerable deposit be refunded as per what we'd been told and the signed agreement, within the specified 30-day period. The fourth week, when calling about the status, we were told it had been processed, approved, the check cut, and was on its way. When it didn't arrive, another call revealed it had not yet been mailed. By day 29, another call was frostily received and all previous statements made denied. Still waiting for the refund, all calls, voicemails, and emails now going unanswered. If this is any example of the way this place operates, it's probably just as well my FIL didn't move in here. read more
