Plenty of parking since they're right next to a public parking lot for the town. They have a but of sife street parking on a partially one-way street to the side. If you plan on visiting when it's not busy, I would highly recommend the weekdays. The weekends are busy, but you'll be seated quickly. We were a party of 2 and didn't wait 5 minutes for a table for 2. The food was so good! We ordered during breakfast time but were able to get the Peruvian Delights! We ordered tamarind juice, chicha morada, pan con chicharon, and pan con lomo. The juices were a little more towards the sweeter side. The pan con chicharon is my all-time favorite. The pork with the sweet potato and creole salad hits the spots. It's salty, tad hint of sweetness from the sweet potato, tanginess from the citrus on the red onions, soft, crunchy all in one bit. The pan con lomo smelled so delicious. I would eat deconstructed since it's a little messy. Food and drinks are decently priced as well.

Food was ok, the Peruvian burger was recommended to me but in my opinion there was too much mayo. It made the burger really messy to eat. It was basic but for the most part exactly what was expected.

    BLT Wrap

I ordered the blt wrap and a side order of home fries. The wrap is lacking in salt but makes up in flavor and size. I recommend added avocado to the wrap if you really enjoy avocado because it is amazing. The home fries are literally cooked to perfection and taste so so good, even without ketchup. I paid extra for the avocado but it was definitely worth it!

Wow, this place is amazing , the Best Breakfast place EVER !! Eggs Benny, and the Pancakes were awesome for the kids with a smile on their faces, I'm coming back here every Sunday if not everyday hahaha

Our Block Island ferry was delayed so we had time to kill and decided to get some breakfast. I went with the ham, egg and cheese sandwich on a hard roll and it did not disappoint! Best breakfast sandwich I have ever had. It was LOADED and I couldn't finish it all. Great find!

Sunrise omelette (upper), Pork Tamales (middle), Gyro omelette... Delicious!! Yes the best omelette in town !

Don't let the hole the wall appearance fool you. What a gem!! Service was fast and staff friendly. Best omelets I town for sure !!

Empty plates cause the food was delicious! We never finish our food

How dare I not leave a review for this gem! Why post a picture of empty plates?!? Let me see cause the breakfast was delicious! We're Jerseyans so Yelp is our best friend for food. We are superb foodies and looking for a spot to hit the right spot here in CT has been all too boring and not with our vibe..... until.... Sunrise! First things first, Luis, god bless this individual! A happy welcome from the door and such a cute little smile! God bless this guy, he's so happy! He made the place a welcome and we were ready. I'm not sure if he made our mimosa but they were on point and for the 1st and 2nd round. The breakfast, my husband ordered the Greek omelet and I ordered the Sunrise Healthy something, it was three egg whites with turkey tomatoes and spinach I added the feta. Damn! Soooo good, literally Sabor for breakfast and so we picked the right spot! Again Luis was amazing and we wish him well, if this isn't his families restaurant I believe hospitality is his thing! Go my dude, you are amazing and this food was amazing! Looking forward to trying that lomo saltado! Big ups!

Pan Con Loma , super flavorful.

Our first time stopping in. Our waitress was super friendly and had no problem answering our questions . We will be back to try other items on the menu. We had brunch. Food was delicious and good portions. Prices are reasonable.

Been to plenty of Peruvian restaurants in southwestern CT and Westchester, NY, but never found a place like this with such a diverse mix of Peruvian and American food on the menu. Great find! Different dishes we got for breakfast (Peruvian and traditional American) were very good. Will definitely eat there again next time we are in the area.

Friendly wait staff, delicious food, good prices! Peruvian and American food to please all taste palettes.

The Best most Authentic Peruvian Food in the Area. Wow this place is a precious gem I keep returning again and again.

I really liked the ambiance of the space, it's quite comfortable and has a nautical aesthetic. We were sat in a cozy little corner by the window, a great spot for watching the bustling of the little seaside town. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of the restaurant's offerings, noting in their introduction that the focus of the menu is on fresh local seafood, and that everything on the menu is freshly made in house. I was very eager to try a cup of the clam chowder for an appetizer since many other reviewers have said that it's some of the best they've ever tasted, and after trying it for myself I'm more than inclined to agree with them; it had a perfect consistency and excellent flavor. Boyfriend wanted the fried mozzarella so we got some of that, and that was pretty tasty as well. Boyfriend got the chicken parm sandwich for his meal and I got the fish and chips. I didn't end up trying the sandwich, but he said he liked it. My fish and chips plate was pretty good; the fish tasted just a tad under seasoned to me, however the flavorful tartar sauce helped with that and I could tell the fish itself was great quality. The hand cut fries were good, but I wasn't really a fan of the coleslaw. Overall we had a pleasant experience at The Mariner. A very good choice for fresh seafood and a relaxed vibe. I'm sure I'll be in town again at some point; if I come back to The Mariner, I'll make a point to get a bowl of the clam chowder instead of a cup, because that alone is absolutely worth returning for... but until then, I'll be dreaming about it.

The regular menu looked creative and appetizing as well. I had their daily oyster ($1.50 each), mussels ($10), and their cutie smash burger ($9). The oysters were from sixpenny on the day I attended. They were fresh and went down smoothly. The mignonette that was served with it was interesting. It seemed to have some sort of orange juice incorporated, but who knows. It was not bad. I preferred the cocktail sauce and horseradish provided. The mussels came in a coconut lemongrass broth with chili, cilantro, and lime. These were some of the freshest mussels I had in a while. It was noticeable to me from the feel and taste. The coconut lemongrass broth was a nice compliment and very flavorful. The burger was a quarter pound smash patty with cheddar cheese, umami mayo, lettuce, pickles, and white onion. This was cooked ideally to a medium-medium rare temperature. The bread was the key as it held the toppings and was of good ratio. The pickle was nicely folded and placed where it was not hanging off the burger. It was a little sweet, but not a big deal. Will I go back? Definitely.

The service was okay while the food came out in a timely manner. I liked that some of the fish items listed the fishing vessel on the menu. Three appetizers were ordered which consisted of a beet pickled deviled egg ($4 each), chilled oysters (Half Dozen $18), and the local fluke crudo ($17). The egg had a crispy clam strip and espelette pepper. This was solid. I thought the clam strip was a little too overpowerful given the size of that and the egg. The pickled beet egg was interesting, and I liked how the filling was also under the egg, so the egg did not move. The Riverhawk oysters were fresh and tasty. The mignonette was simple and paired well. The crudo had an herb mayo, pickled ramps, kelp crisp, and pickled sugar kelp. This was alright. It seemed like fennel or a similar type of herb was used in one of the pickling items, which took over a little bit. The kelp crisp was nice and paired well with the fluke. For an entrée, I had the local scup a la plancha ($37). It came with Marshall Cove mussels, fondant potato, English peas, and a saffron emulsion. This was a nice sized portion. I thought the saffron emulsion was key and went together with everything else on the plate. The mussels were fresh again, and the potatoes were cooked perfectly. It was a well-done dish, but the use of scup made it feel more modest, but maybe that was the point, so what do I know? I also tried the scallop dish that came with green crab crispy rice, chili crispy, and a garlic aioli. The rice was very crispy, and it reminded me of a traditional hibachi rice, but elevated. The scallops had a perfect cook to them too. For dessert, the oyster ice cream ($10) was tried. It had to be tasted when it was on the menu. It had a slight briny flavor, but nothing too overpowerful. The ice cream itself was very creamy with a nice texture. I believe Greek yogurt was used, which probably helped with the oyster flavor that was incorporated. Will I go back? Sure.

Received two menus and were told to scan the QR code on the table, seemed odd. It took a while to give our order, so we ordered everything at once. Wings, truffle fries to start. Scallop Risotto, Fish& chips, fried shrimp basket and caesar salad with chicken. Drinks arrived minus one because they were out of the whiskey, provided a replacement, but the drink never came to the table. Food was ok. The fried things were very tasty and well made. The wings were nice, tender and good sauce/flavor. Truffle fires were good, little heavy on the truffle oil, but tasty Scallops were prepared well but the "risotto" was more like rice pilaf. The caesar salad was nicely dressed, the added chicken was grill to as close to raw and still be "cooked". It was very soft and chewy - that was pushed to the side. If you go, stick to the bar, brunch, apps, or something fired. I think this place is good if you go when they are fully staffed or something. I would happy choose someplace else if I were in town for a show.

There was five extremely large hush puppies, and they were some of the best, if not the best, I ever had. They were perfectly fried with tons of flavor. The butter was tasty, but as mentioned, not needed at all. Deviled Farm Eggs ($8) - There were four present and they were topped with a homemade chili crunch. These were solid. I thought the chili crunch would be spicier, but there was a nice slight crisp factor with the crunch present. Old Bay Macaroni Salad ($6) - This was a traditional macaroni salad with a hint of old bay. The macaroni was cooked ideally, and the touch of old bay was a different seasoning to use. Chopped Salad ($19) - This had romaine lettuce, roasted carrots, avocado, pickled red onion, cornbread croutons, bell peppers, feta cheese, and pulled rotisserie chicken, with a green goddess dressing. This was very big with a ton of all of the ingredients. They appeared all fresh and paired nicely with one another. I thought the dressing was a little light and actually could have used more flavor. The cornbread croutons were unique and stood out. Will I go back? Yup.
