They brought out complimentary popcorn which was delicious. Service was good. I felt a little bad for our waitress because she seemed a little stressed with a larger group but she did a great job. She was able to do individual checks for everyone which was very nice. The menu has a variety of regular bar food. I just ordered the French onion soup and thought it was good. Very cheesy and warm. Anytime I pass this location Im triggered and nauseated. Not only was the service TERRIBLE, i reach out to the manager and never got a response or apology for the terrible service i received from the waitress (short girl, curly hair, colored eyes and very STANK attitude.) The bartender didnt seem to care, its as if I was the bother spending over $100 at a spot with a 45+ min wait just eating stale popcorn and waiting just for water. Wow. The Spot is new and greatly improved. BEST Reuben sandwich- the corned beef is tender and freshly made (you can taste the marinade slightly). The bread is thick and crunchy but not greasy. This restaurant is a family friendly place and also has a bar and outdoor seating. It is a casual place. Many choices on the menu for everyone's palate. Recently, I ordered takeout for the BAMA Miami football game! We had two orders of Buffalo wings. They came via grub hub which was also good service btw! The wings were large, still warm and came with ample bleu cheese dressing and celery. The second time we ordered burgers and they were tasty, cooked perfectly and also came warm. When she finally did come over again, I told her we were about to just ask for the check bc of the wait. I've lived in this area for a while but for some reason never stopped by The Spot before this week. Wow, do I regret that! I was very pleased by my whole experience there. Ordered the fried Brussels sprouts for an appetizer and they were absolutely incredible. For dinner, I ordered the Seafood Ala Vodka - a summer special. I have to say, that was one of the best pasta dishes I've had in a while! I wish that could stay on the menu permanently so I can come back and have it again! The sweetest and most efficient waitress ever and I'm sorry we didn't get her name. A great meal that was as close to perfection as you could ask for-Chicken Carbonara to die for!! The prices are very reasonable. They have a huge, somewhat circular, bar which is very welcoming. My husband and I went for a late afternoon light bite. We just had some soup, chili and shared an appetizer, but everything that we had was delicious.
