Corned beef hash plate

Such a nice down home vibe. Clean and friendly environment. Food was outstanding and came out fast and fresh. Excellent diner coffee and the server was so kind and warm to us. Definitely check out this hidden gem!

Florentine Benedict with side of bacon and coffee

Nothing spectacular. Very down to earth food and local charm. My friend and I had brunch there on Sunday. Hearty home cooking.

Corn beef hash, 2 eggs over medium, hash browns and rye toast

Stumbled upon this place by chance and it was so nice, from the service to the food! We ordered corned beef hash extra crispy with 2 eggs and toast. We also ordered the dishwasher which is hash browns, chorizo, cheese, pepper and onions, with 2 eggs. The corned beef hash was perfect! I've had people tell me they can do it crispy in the past and it never is, this place CAN do it! The dishwasher was gigantic, a huge portion and tasty. My only suggestion would be to have the potato's a little more well done. In addition to all that food we also had a side of sausage and bacon. The sausage was in patty's, not for me, but the bacon was well done and great!

Side of sausage and bacon

Stopped in this local dinner while in CT this weekend. The food was great, atmosphere was that of a family style small diner. Love that more than your big box diners.. I had the dishwasher!! Yes the dishwasher lol.. It was home fries piled high with meat, cheese, onions and peppers topped off with 2 scrambled eggs. I also ordered a side of bacon and sausage !! My girlfriend had Corn beef hash that was cooked perfectly and well done just the way she likes.. The food was great the atmosphere was friendly.. parking is hard as it's parallel parking on the street in front.. but we'll worth it ..

Great classic diner. A lot better food than that other diner in Groton. Nice and helpful staff.

Nice little restaurant for breakfast. Food is very good and place is clean. Prices are decent too. Another gem in the rough.

I do love a diner. The parking lot is 'smallish' on the right side of the building and flows right to left in one direction, so be sure to look for the 'enter' sign. There are three steps up into the diner so be aware of that if you have difficulty using steps. Also, the restroom is tiny: like so small the sink is about a foot long by half as much wide, small. We stop in here on our trips out to Groton. Last visit we stopped for a late breakfast/early lunch. I ordered a coffee and it came in a nice big mug and is a mellow blend with a smooth finish. There are photo descriptions on the table of what your eggs will look like based on how you order it, so no surprises. What a great idea. The table holds napkins, hot sauces, salt & pepper, jellies, creamer and sugars. The staff are pleasant. Some are more chatty than others. There are definitely some regulars here each time we visit. The menu has lots of breakfast options but there are no substitutions so you may need to order al a carte or get a different 'meal' option and add-on an item. Just a heads up. They have plenty of toast options including English muffins. The lunch menu is a variety of sandwiches and burgers. Fries are tasty. Lettuce and tomato on your sandwiches are fresh. I can't think of a single disappointment we've had here. If you are in the area and enjoy a nice diner experience, stop in to Norm's.

Got real medium rare meat and paid extra for bacon, mushrooms and cheese. Was offered raw or sautéed onions too got them cooked. The meat was appropriately seasoned, but the real flavor bomb was also due to the very generous extras... no skimping. It was a delightful burger on a tasty bun. My 1 criticism is there were no napkins included and I didn't think to ask for any. Messy, delicious burger! I recommend you check them out. I'll be back.

Driving in there is a hidden parking lot on the left side of the restaurant. Walking in it the host greeted us and asked us to sit anywhere we like. It is a cute place with plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. It was a bit humid out so we ate inside. When we sat, we were told that there is a coffee and tea bar. I thought that was cute and efficient. You get up, grab a mug and pour your own hot drink. I order the sampler which had a little of everything and my fiancé order the blueberry pancakes. We didn't know what to expect but the portions was huge. The French toast was good and the pancakes were normal nothing special. The home fries was a small portion on the plate. The bacon, eggs and sausage were good. To be honest I didn't need 4 slices of toast. Two max would have been good enough. My fiancé enjoy his blueberry pancakes. We didn't finished what we order cause it was so much. Overall great place if you want that diner style breakfast. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Would definitely come back.

The food here is next level good, God tier, euphoria is what I experienced while eating what was quite possibly the best eggs benedict I have ever tasted in my life! I swear Jesus must be in the kitchen cooking because the amount of flavor in every bite had me thinking "what the hell is going on here, am I in heaven, how is it possible that this is so good?!" The wait staff was very nice, accommodating and told me from the jump that it could be a wait for the food but quite honestly the wait time was pretty fast so no complaints. I hope this place never closes and stays in business for the next 100yrs because I will be coming back asap. If you're in the neighborhood and want to try the best diner food on planet earth go here, better yet run because you won't be disappointed!
