I've been a "white knuckle" dental patient however, my anxiety significantly shifted since working with Dr. Willis and his dental hygienist staff. In 2022, I had purchased aligners from an online company that ended up going out of business in 2023. Dr. Willis was very caring, explaining the process and monitoring my progress. The day my front tooth was finally capped, he and his assistant worked flawlessly, creating a calming enviornment. He works quickly and efficiently. The day my new cap arrived, it was perfect. After having a bad experience with a previous dentist, several people recommended Sunrise Dental and Dr Willis. I made appointments for my daughter and I, and from the first contact over the phone was impressed with the friendliness of the person I spoke to. Not only was she friendly, but she went out of her way to try to accommodate me for appointment times because we were leaving for vacation, and I had a tooth bothering me. I have severe anxiety when it comes to the dentist, so finding one that I feel comfortable with is very important. The assistant doing the X-rays was amazing and patient, checking in with me to make sure I was doing ok. Then when Dr Willis came in, he was great. He explained what he thought was going on based on his exam & my X-rays (which is going to save me over $3k compared to what my old dentist was trying to push). He answered my questions and didn't seem irritated by them. Needless to say, I now have two appointments set up to take care of the issues I've been dealing with for over a year with my previous dentist. I am so thankful I have found this dentist! I had a horrible experience with another office in town. So I found this place, my husband's work recommended, and I cannot be happier. He fixed the filling the other dentist office messed up, he was quick, gentle, I was blown away. I went in for a cleaning and had to bring my kiddos along, they were getting impatient and the front office girls brought them to the front and kept an eye on them. The dentist is also awesome with my kids, my 2 year old actually let him look in his mouth and let the hygienist clean his teeth. I like that they send a reminder to my email, phone and they call because I forget everything. Very organized, professional and all around amazing office. I HIGHLY recommend this place! read more

I was exposed to COVID so I cancelled an appt. Thought I was doing the right thing. Received bill today for $85.00 for cancelled appt. I will never return there for dental services. I will also never refer anyone there. To bad I just broke a tooth and was going to call them, will not happen. read more

Sunrise Dental has several offices in the Pacific Northwest. So at first, I was a little leery of them since "chain-dental" offices can be pricey ($$$$$). But, Dr. Jared Willis was part of my GEHA dental insurance network - so I was cautiously optimistic. After my first appointment, I was pleasantly surprised. Dr. Willis and his staff were very courteous and upfront about costs - which was a comfort. I'd gone into other dental offices before. And some quotes I was given left me with high 4-figure or low 5-figure out-of-pocket expenses. But after reviewing my situation, the treatment they recommended only left me with about $2,000 in out-of-pocket expenses (beyond my insurance). And that's for an extraction, crowns, pontics (bridgework), fillings and deep scaling & root planing (perio cleaning). In short, quite reasonable. FWIW, when I found out how reasonable their costs were, I asked if I could just pay my total out-of-pocket expenses in advance. And they said they'd rather just get paid appointment by appointment. Go figure (grin) - a dental office that won't take your money upfront. Very rare in today's world. They take VISA/MasterCard payments. And for those who are uninsured or underinsured, they do offer financing through CareCredit. They also have limited Saturday hours and will take "emergency" patients without appointment (though it's best to call before you come). BTW, Dr. Willis (I'd guess) is in his mid-to-late 30s. I'm 64. So, he'll be my permanent dentist from now on - since he'll likely outlive me (grin). read more

The girls and I have had the same dentist for over ten years, and because they were cheap for union members with our insurance we were unlikely to shop around when it came to dentist visits, and even drove an hour out of our way. When we heard there was a union insurance friendly dentist in town I was excited to try it out. I dealt with Ashley the most at the front office. She made most of my appointments and looked up my insurance before I got there. She was sweet and even though she looked busy went out of her way to drop everything to check if the girls had orthodontist coverage too. She called me by my name twice, which I was impressed with for someone to just meet me to remember me so well, and show personalized service. We are very regular dentist goers, and I was astonished by how clean my teeth felt after being cleaned here. Ashton was super gentle. Don't remember even being worried anything would hurt, she remembered my sensitive tooth and made mention she wouldn't touch it and remembered before she got there so I would be at ease. Afterwards, my teeth feel Ten times better than I've ever felt them before. My teeth have never been that deeply cleaned, Ashton went out of her way to make me comfortable, and I'm so impressed with my results. I went back the next week after my cleaning to fix a tooth I've had "fixed" five times at my old office, and for a sterilization of an old root canal that was infected. On the worrisome tooth (that my previous dentist couldn't fix five times) Dr. Willis said part of the filling had cracked off, but I've never walked out of my old dentist office with that specific tooth pain completely gone. It took a while to get feeling in my mouth again after leaving Dr. Willis office, but once I did I almost cried I was so excited I didn't have the sensitivity in the bottom tooth. Dr. Willis and his assistant whom worked on me, made small talk about the weather, and long funny sounding words, we shared a YouTube video together and joked about making a dental themed one. Very personable, and light hearted, with a sense of humor. I hate that I can't remember the assistance's name. She was just like Ashton, gentle and precise. Quick worker and couldn't be more impressed with her. However.. root canal sanitation.. not fun. :( so I write this review while very sore. Which is a huge compliment, because you guys were amazing. I'd give this dentist ten stars if I was able. Great job guys. You have new customers for life. read more

I had a dental emergency this morning. I saw the good reviews of this place and decided to give them a call but figured that I would have to call around before I could find someone to see me today. I was able to get in to see Dr. Willis immediately, though. That of itself was surprising. I was impressed by Dr. Willis. I warned them up front that I have a history of trauma and have PTSD, which makes dental visits challenging and frightening. He treated me quickly and efficiently while still being kind and polite. He is the first dentist I've ever seen who has a grasp of how genetics influences an individuals' teeth as well as how pain is managed. A quick visit, a couple of x-rays, a consultation with Dr. Willis and 2 prescriptions cost $115.00 without insurance. Considering how quickly they saw me, their expertise and kindness, plus the low cost, I will recommend Dr. Willis. read more

I just got home from my third teeth cleaning at Sunrise Dental in Longview, WA. As we all know, this is not the appointment that you eagerly await and enjoy. I have, unfortunately, had my share of dental work and cleanings in my lifetime as I'm no "spring chicken" and would have to give this team 5 stars! Particularly, Ashton, has probably the most delicate touch of any hygienist that has ever put a tool in my mouth. I don't usually have much buildup on my teeth but can say, with full confidence, that even if I did it would likely be painlessly removed due to her abilities. What's funny is that in first meeting her, she appears to be so young that I didn't expect the skill she possesses. As they would say, she just has the touch. The support staff is equally as delightful. There is no doubt in my mind that they fairly earn the 5 star rating I gave them. I thank them for their delightful and efficient service! read more

Okay, when I first went there I chose this practice because of the reviews I found online, even after a couple of friends referred to other dentists. Following my first visit, a member of the staff asked me to write a review of my experience...I declined by stating I would rather wait and see how the work I needed, the costs, and how I was treated (by the dentist and his staff). I have now been there four times, and I feel I am ready to give an honest opinion based upon my experiences. As can be seen, I have rated this office "5" stars and the reasons are as follows: 1) The dentist, Jared Willis, D.D.S., is one nice fellow, who has a great sense of humor (a plus when dealing with me, in fact, it is a "Must"); he is fast, but not so fast as to screw things up in my mouth; he always explains what he is doing and why he is doing it; he is personable...he remembered me by name...and particular things we have discussed...and not all of it dental. 2) The staff is equally as good, and quite efficient; they too have good senses of humor...being I give people "The business, guff, B.S." or whatever you call it I was immensely pleased when they, the staff, gave it right back to me...often eliciting laughter [from me]; they also seem to interact well with one another, which is really nice because I hate hearing co-workers argue, or bad mouth each other; and they ensure I know the cost of any follow-up visit. 3) The costs are comparable to other offices in this area...I did check with other practices. He isn't the cheapest, and he isn't the most expensive...but his work is good. And, like anything else a consumer spends on, you do get what you pay for. And his work is quite good. So...I can unequivocally, and without hesitation, recommend Jared Willis, and Sunrise Dental, for your dental needs. I am sure you will walk away terribly unhappy that you had to see a dentist in the first place...but happy that you selected Sunrise Dental! Note: I marked "No" in the "By Appointment Only" because I am sure he will make room for an emergency. And I marked "Yes" regarding insurance...even though I do not have coverage, I was asked if I had dental insurance...so they must accept it. read more
