I then approached the receptionist and asked how much longer it would be. I was told that there had been an emergency and she was unsure. I requested to reschedule. I return for my rescheduled appointment and was almost certain that the tooth in question could not be saved. There was a visible crack in the tooth (shown on X-ray) and the pain and sensitivity identical to the tooth that I had lost next to it. They did a scan which confirmed what I already knew. The quick scan cost over $400. Last Saturday (four months later) I receive a bill from them requesting an additional payment. I asked before I committed to the scan, what my *exact cost would be. They gave me a price, I paid it. I have called their office every day for the last three days. I continue to be assured that I will receive a callback from their billing department. This still hasn't happened. My experience as a whole with this office has not been favorable. Not customer savvy or considerate. I can NOT recommend Pacific Endodontics in any capacity.

Then they scheduled a root canal that afternoon after the exam. It had calcified due to lack of care from my previous dentist. It didn't hurt. They explained everything. They "loved the challenge." Night and day, the treatment towards me as a human was wildly different from Brite Now. I don't think it's fair when insurance for educators pegs you with .
