Booking process online was seamless and I appreciated being able to add-on services like oven cleaning. They arrived within 10 minutes of the arrival window ready to go. I told them they could more or less ignore the furniture and focus on the apartment itself. They were very kind the whole way through. They were extremely thorough, even getting to places previous cleaners did not like under the bed. They nicely packed items thrown around in bags for me to sort through which I really appreciate. When finished with each area they asked if I wanted to check the area first for anything missed, another thing I appreciated. They offered to take out trash bags at the end but I told them they did enough and sent them on their way :) They are definitely worth booking and are extremely thorough! Maybe due to the numerous (well-earned) high reviews here, there can be a wait list for new clients. It's worth the wait, especially if you are looking for recurring cleans every 1, 2 or 4 weeks. They're very thorough about understanding a new client's needs and ensuring that they have enough staff to maintain the quality of cleaning before taking on another client. They care very much about their clients, and it shows! The team even sent us a baby card after our newborn arrived home from the hospital! I asked for quotes from a few cleaning services and decided to go…read morewith Perfect Shine because my coworker uses it and says it's good, although they had to request a different cleaning team once. The first cleaning is time based, $95 an hour for regular product or $105 for "green" products, and however much time it takes for the crew of two to clean the space. I don't like time based cleaning in general because the incentive of efficiency and the balance between efficiency and thoroughness is hard to align. But I liked the potential of doing a one-hour quick regular cleaning afterward, which could be much cheaper than many other services in the long run. First impression: After my call, the company responded quickly to arrange the cleaning, and send detailed info via text. That was great. The job: the team came and took two hours to clean our 1-bedroom/2-bath. We have two bedrooms but since my husband is working in the master bedroom, I asked them not to clean it. The nursery has nothing but two mattresses on the carpeted floor either, and I vacuum it often myself, so shouldn't take too long. Our main concern was the bathrooms and the kitchen anyways. Two hours wasn't too terribly long, but the results weren't as great as expected. Pros: the stovetop and the area around was pretty greasy and was cleaned pretty well. All the cosmetic products the jars and bottles in the bathrooms were wiped clean. It was pretty nice at the first look. Cons: the obvious surfaces in the living room weren't dusted (tv, tv stand). The toilets looked clean at the first glance but if viewed at a bit lower angle, they weren't clean under the rims. (I have to say our silicone toilet brush might not be the most powerful, but it seemed like the work wasn't carefully checked.) cleaning tools were left in our garbage disposal in the kitchen sink and we realized only when using the disposal and had to dig it out. A sharp tool was left in our fridge which could have been dangerous for my toddler if she got her hands on it before I noticed it. (See pictures) Customer service: I told the customer service about it and sent pictures. There wasn't any response or comments. I suggested having a quick call to give some feedback, and in my mind i was ready to try a different team and do regular cleanings. A call time was agreed but nobody ever called or followed up. So I guess I won't use their service... sadly. Maybe if I had been home to watch them clean, there might have been better communication. But it's not feasible for me, so...
