What a nie find this was! We were looking for a late night place after July 4th fireworks and most places were closed. Stumbled upon this unassuming place and were wowed by the variety and depth of the menu. As always when discovering someplace new, I looked for the oddest specialty on the menu and chose Sean's Wrap (chicken fingers, french friesm BBQ sauce, mozzarella, honey mustard). It was a huge gut-buster and impossible to finish. Tasty though. My family chose spaghetti and meatballs, BBQ chicken pizza, steak bomb and a turkey club. All thumbs up. What Iwas ost impressed with was the service. Those at the counter were attentive and answered any questions, as if the order mattered and wasn't just one more order at the end of a long day. During the meal, th cook came out to see how the meal was and even told me about Sean's wrap's origins. I ordered a "gobbler" turkey sandwich... when it came out.. there was like one slice of turkey on it... and, it was sliced so thin; as if it were prosciutto or something. It was transparent thin. The stuffing looked questionable, and I'm sure I'll regreting it later, more than I already do. The two guys arguing in the back only further contributed to the poor experience. Sunrise is my go to restaurant late at night when I work the late shift. I usually have no problems and the food is good and fast delivery, which is why I'm giving them 2 stars. Last night however, was not good. I ordered my food using the Eat24 app, I ordered a tomato basil wrap with fresh mozzarella and tomato, hummus, and a Oreo mousse cake. When the delivery came, my fiancé grabbed the food at the door. As I'm opening my food I realized that it was the complete wrong order. They delivered, the Oreo cake, a beef gyro with fries, and a steak bomb grinder on Friday during Lent......... I called the restaurant 3 times ..NO ANSWER! I was so hungry that I just ate the fries and my cake. Ugh so frustrating. You would think that when the driver realized that he delivered the wrong food that I would be contacted right? But no. I'll start by saying I usually like their food. Today we were super happy they were open for delivery in a snow storm so we ordered a calzone to be delivered to our second floor apartment. The driver calls when he arrives saying I need to come downstairs. Ok?!? I go down to the first floor and open the door. The dude wants me to meet him halfway, through the snow. I'm like huh, I don't even have shoes on!!? He walks the majority of the way and says I have to meet him or he's going back in his car and leaving with the food. Huh?!?!? Then he really did leave! I called the shop and the owner says oh yeah my guys don't wanna walk through the snow. Its good for late night drunken deliveries, better than other options for sure but on multiple occasions certain details tend to get messed up in orders ( for example, sub's are not toasted even when the person who took the order repeats it to you, or certain alternatives to orders such as extra bacon which gets charged for doesn't get added) Some of my fave wings tho, and pretty good pizza as long as you're up for the tummy ache tomorrow!(from the grease...not from bad food) Again, my top pick for late night/drunk food, just don't expect everything to be perfect. read more

Oh my oh my was I breaking out the streamers and balloons when I discovered Sunrise is not one of those places. Open to 3 or 4 am, they serve up a delicious variety of pizza, wraps, grinders, snacks and dinner platters. Their pizza, is banging. A huge fan of our beloved Brothers' Pizza on Broad St (in Providence), it's difficult to find a pie that compares. Theirs comes alarmingly close. Lots of cheese, that familiar layer of grease. Delicious. I also am absolutely in love with their wraps: when trying a bit lighter fare, their "Veggie Mania" wrap hits the spot. Their chicken finger/onion ring combo is also pretty bangin. Not to mention, their fried tasties are ~ah mazin.' Their fried ravioli and fries are tiny bits of heaven. I also really gotta give it to these guys: delivering fried food usually ends up soggy but somehow, someway, every order is crispy, hot and delicious. Their hours are good and the food isn't bad, but that is it. It takes them an hour to deliver your food and then some of your food will be missing. Our food was delivered within 40 minutes which is fast for them, but one of the meals were missing. The driver was going to go back and get it, but another 40 minutes went by and still nothing. Called the store and was told they were making it right now. Took 30 minutes to get here. Asked the driver what the hell happened and the response was, "they told me to wait until you called the store" WHAT!? We ordered the damn good and weren't going to bring it until we said something? I've tried sunrise a handful of times now because I liked their wings so I wanted to try other things there. Pizza - tasteless. Much better places in the area to order. Buffalo salad - horrible, inedible. Steak and cheese sub - worst I've ever had, inedible. Sweet turkey sub - inedible Wings - good size and price...however tonight they messed up our order placed on eat24. They resent the correct wings and took back the wrong ones, after sounding very annoyed with me on the phone...to me that's bad business. I may be the minority in thinking this way but they admittedly messed up, what were they going to do with the cold wings they took back? Either way it was the straw that broke the camels back so we are done ordering there. At 1109 I called them to see where our order was and they responded saying they'd put it in now and have it over asap. The order arrived at 1137 and no discount was offered for the simple order that was TWO HOURS LATE when the order was said to take 45 minutes. I'm going to try and keep this short and simple. I like Sunrise. No, it's not a give star restaurant by any means, but this place is open until 4am every day. EVERY DAY. I don't even think they close on Christmas or Thanksgiving. The woman who works at the takeout area is awesomely nice and attentive. They have a pretty good selection of sandwiches, pizzas, etc. My suggestion is to order a salad. For around $7, you get a pretty big one...add grilled seasoned chicken for another $2. If you're trying to bulk up with protein, get the chef salad and add the chicken. More salad than I can even finish. Again, there could be some small improvements made, but this place is worth trying at least once. read more
