I needed a ride to Sacramento for a meeting and Sunrise shuttle was able to accommodate me on short notice. My driver got me there safely with a few minutes to spare. I paid for my ride ahead of time with a credit card and was in a hurry so did not tip the driver at the time. I did do it the next day by calling the service back and adding an additional few dollars to my credit card. So overall, the service was fine. However, I am taking off one star because when I called back to give my tip, I was asked to leave a bigger one. It seems that some people do not understand the concept of a tip: Tips should be given freely and at the level the customer wants to give. It is neither obligatory nor dictated by what the business or staff person wants. I gave my tip anyway because the driver deserves it even if the person answering the phone is wrong. I have worked in the service industry and never have I asked a customer for a tip nor for a specific % tip. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I've used this company once in the past and it was fine but this time it was not. I sent them an email through their reservations on their website about a pick up for SMF and they asked if I wanted to charge it in the card they had on file and I responded yes. I never recieved a confirmation email. Based on our previous experience, this was enough to get the shuttle to the airport. This time, since there was no confirmation email, I called the company 3-4 times throughout the day, 2 days before our flight and they never answered or called back. On the day of our flight, I left a message in the morning and still no call back. Finally at our desired pickup time, I called them and they finally picked up and said my card never went through so our reservation was never made. I was never told through email or phone that my card didn't go through. Good thing we had a back up plan and had to rush to the airport, almost missing our flight with no time to spare. read more

Based on the reviews, I had really wanted to book with the company and at first they were responsive. But my flight had recently been changed so I had to select a different pick up time from my hotel. By the tone of their email, it made me feel like I was lying, but that was because I had mistakenly provided the wrong flight. this was their response to me: " What is the new flight number? I check the system, UA5567 on Apr 07, 2022. No such flight. Now, the pickup time on Apr 07 is early morning. The fare will be $120. I sent a revised invoice to you already, please check." I was made to feel that I inconvenienced them so then my price went from $100 to $120. I was very hurt by their response and since this was my first time traveling to the area, I didn't feel comfortable booking with them. I quickly found another company with no problems and at a better price. I am hopeful that they don't make other customers feel this way and or make them feel that their business doesn't matter. I recently booked their Town Car option for a round trip ride between Sacramento to the San Francisco Airport and back for a vacation getaway with my husband. The drivers were punctual and drove safely getting us to and from the airport with no issues. It was an extremely relaxing way to travel for a red eye flight and then an evening return home ride. For the return pickup from the airport home, the driver sent a detailed text to me guiding in where to go to meet him for our pickup. His instructions were detailed and that made it so easy. My husband mentioned that this was by far the best way to travel to and from Sacramento to the San Francisco airport, and I agree! I will be using their service many times over when traveling to SFO for future trips. Well worth the money and not having to park in the lot for 2 weeks or rent a car both ways or to ever have to drive and battle traffic and fight off the jet lag to get us home. A really great service and way better than dealing with long term airport parking! Used them to transport my mom and me to and from SFO (I live in downtown Sacramento) when we went to London earlier this month. Our pickup on the outgoing trip to the airport was quite good. A large van that could easily accommodate our passengers and luggage with a professional driver. Our return trip was quite different. This trip was simply awful. The van was much smaller leaving a walker over the top of the back seat. We were lucky this did not move and hit the people in the back seat. More importantly, the driver was terrible. He tailgated repeatedly, slammed on his brakes late rather than responding to slowing traffic and punched the accelerator every time he started up again. The repeated jerking back and forth of this driving left three of us car sick and my daughter actually vomited three times. If I could be guaranteed the service I received on the outgoing trip, I would be happy to use this service again. However, with the return trip a possibility, I have to look elsewhere for this service. read more

I had a last minute trip scheduled and needed a ride from Sacramento to Turlock. While I was concerned it would be a challenge to find a ride, the reservation was confirmed in minutes. Chest instructions were provided and the driver arrived at least 20 min early and communicated right away when the flight landed to let me know where he was located. I got some calls done on the rude but left my ear buds in the car when I got out to check into the hotel. Driver was very responsive and confirmed my ear buds were indeed still in the back seat. I called the office and Mr Wang very efficiently arranged for the buds to be mailed home to me. By the time I got home they arrived in my mailbox. Exceptional customer service and communication. It was my first trip since the pandemic started and Sunrise Shuttle made it such a smooth and stress free experience. I used Sunrise Shuttle for a round trip from my home in Elk Grove and Sacramento International Airport. They were professional, courteous, very helpful, and most of all on time. The texted me ahead of pickup when they were on the way, when they arrived, and in the case of the airport pickup, instructions as to pickup location. I have used other "services" before that were nothing more than a middleman with Uber, so I have other companies to evaluate Sunrise with. My family used them for round-trip service when we flew to Hawaii. The first driver promptly picked us up at 5:45 a.m. for trip to SMF. We had a lot of luggage and he stored it away in his SUV. It was quite spacious for three of us. On the return trip home, our driver had already texted me his location and directions to find him. The driver arrived promptly in each case, and they sent a confirmation email the day before which for me was reassuring since I was about to embark on a 15 hour return flight and was reassured they were going to be at the airport when I arrived. Especially since I didn't have to initiate contact for confirmation while traveling. Yes the driver drove above the speed limit but he was very focused maneuvered through the slow spot since he makes the trip nearly everyday he knew what to expect on the road.
