    Indian food meets tacos!

Excellent food that was hand made. Knowledgeable waitstaff. Excellent wine list. Varied menu from burgers, French, and Indian fare. A great dining experience!

View was beautiful. Service and food wonderful. I had the tandoori chucjen tacos on Naan bread. Hubby had a cheeseburger and fries. It's next to a Days Inn and worth the stop.

Wow!! This was an unexpected gem. We drive to CO often from Texas and have expected pretty basic food along the way. This is the opposite!! Delicious and authentic with excellent service to go with it. Luckily other people posted to warn us not to be fooled by the location attached to a Days Inn. Normally bargain hotels are not known for excellent food. This one breaks that stereotype. We had chicken tikka masala and Tandoori lamb. Both were excellent! We also had calamari which had a light coating that was crunchy while the calamari was tender. We will go out of our way to come back!

this was an unexpected new favorite spot! The ambience and location is not my favorite, but the food was absolutely amazing. I cannot believe the quality and just overall amazing food. I ordered filet mignon, mashed potatoes and sautéed mushrooms with the butter garlic sauce. The only thing I did not enjoy was the mashed potatoes, definitely go with a different side but the steak was INCREDIBLE! Perfectly cooked, amazing roasted garlic, the mushrooms were one of my favorites. My partner ordered the fish and chips and the batter was fantastic. We had crab cakes as our appetizer and why was there more crab inside than most nice restaurants and they were VERY affordable. Make sure you call ahead for a window seat!!

The location is not ideal, but trust me, you won't want to miss this spot. The interior and service is definitely more upscale, which is reflected in the prices. Garlic Naan. Some of the best I've had. It wasn't too thin and had just the right amount of seasoning. Butter Chicken. Oh so lovely and creamy and dreamy. There was great flavor and it didn't taste too much of tomato, which is the base for the sauce. They serve a lot of different cuisines, so there's something for everyone.

    The view

Wow. Absolutely outstanding, the service and food is truly amazing. I drive through Trinidad and never stop, did this about two dozen times for work. I stop with the wife; this place absolutely knocked it out of the park with a full bar, the steak was amazing, same with the pork loin and I'd commit a felony on the tiramisu.

Very good Indian for Trinidad. Curry was good and soups were done well (especially the yellow Lentil). Good service and reasonable prices.

Elk sausage, mushrooms, green chile, ooey gooey cheese, and oh my, my tastebuds came alive! The crust had just the right amount of crisp on the bottom, while the sauce had a delicious complimentary exchange with the ingredients. I ate way more than what I'd normally eat for lunch! Then to top that off, I was offered hot honey to finish off the crust that was absolutely fantabulous on it's own. This was the perfect way to complete an amazing pie! It was so good, that we ate the leftovers for dinner, and we were just as pleased, minus the great company that the restaurant offers with their local vibe and interest in your experience. Super cool folks! I also, out of curiosity, ordered a single slice with my go-to favorite... hamburger, pineapple, jalapeno, and extra cheese. It was tantalizing! On a hot Spring day, you can't go wrong with a cool drink and an amazing pie at the new Las Animas Pizza!

The atmosphere is inviting and relaxed--grab a menu, seat yourself, and take in the local history through the vintage photographs on the walls, complete with a reference map that's fun to explore while you wait. We started with the pork belly appetizer. For mains, we had the Bearcat Burger and the Fish & Chips. Each came with a generous serving of crispy rosemary fries, but you can upgrade to truffle or chili fries for an extra treat. Service was prompt, cheerful, and attentive without being overbearing. A great spot for a casual bite with quality food and small-town charm.

And while there were several really great looking restaurants in the area, it was even too much effort to order delivery. So we pulled up the menu for Gagliardi's and ordered Fried Green Tomatoes, Chicken Fried Elk, and Chicken Piccata. All three items were amazing. No regrets, no notes, other than I feel like the packaging could be a little different. Something that retains heat a bit better or some kind of package that doesn't feel like our fried items will melt the package would be better. But obviously as you can see, that didn't affect my rating at all because everything was so yummy. Yes, the meal was pricey, but I feel like it was worth it.

Came out without onion or pickles and completely dry. No Mayo, mustard, ketchup, aioli, thousand island, nothing. Just dry. Burger was overcooked to beyond recognition and had zero flavor. Really it was the only thing to taste since nothing else was available, and surprisingly there was zero flavor. Just dry and a reminder that a trip to Burger King would have been 100x better and I hate BK. In fairness, I will say they generally do a better job. But tonight I left disappointed and mad at such a crappy meal. Service was pretty good overall but the waitress made no effort to discount the meal, offer another item that the check was prepared to make, like a PB&J sandwich, etc. I ate it so I would have paid regardless, but at least make an effort in a difficult situation. Overall I blame the management for not stocking the kitchen or training the staff how to handle their failures.

The restaurant wasn't fooling around when it comes to garlic. You could smell the enticing aroma of it as soon as you walk through the door. The ambience was quaint. It is connected to a hotel which I'd check out if I were traveling through here again. We arrived at the restaurant around 530pm. The happy hour menu had both drinks and some dinner items on it. My companion ordered the Spaghetti & Meatballs from the happy hour menu. We were told the portion is the same as from the regular menu. It was $14. ($18 on regular menu.) It was a generous portion with three large meatballs. I opted for the Picatta Pasta at $12 and added four shrimp for an extra $6. They gave me five so I'm not sure if the chef made a mistake or was just feeling generous. I'll say the latter! The dish had tomatoes, capers, lemon, and white wine. The only thing I'd add to my taste would be pine nuts! We both totally enjoyed our meals including the bread! I forced myself to leave a little for lunch the next day and it was even better then! Comments I heard from around the dinner were equally enthusiastic about their meals, especially those who ordered the mussels. We're in town for a week and I don't usually go back to the same restaurant twice when I'm visiting a new location but my companion and I are definitely going back again before we leave. It was a Fri and a bit of busy night when we were there but our server Jillian did a great job and was super nice.
