I was a client of Tender Loving Care for over 17 years, then PetRock Hotel and Spa bought the company, keeping some employees. I have purebred show dogs and they have been groomed by the same employee for year's as this person knows the breed and knows how to groom them. No bones to pick with the employee. It was the new OWNER of PetRock Hotel and Spa. Apparently the NEW owner told the "bather boy" to take care of my dog despite that the only employee for 17 years + has groomed my show dogs. THIS was a SERIOUS PROBLEM AS My dog came back butchered! This is a spitz breed that carries a lot of coat and HUGE ruff which was mutilated to almost nothing but 2 inches!! My poor dog looks awful and looks like a starving coyote!! Plus, I have been charged almost double since the new owner took over and also charged me credit card fees in excess of $5 per dog. IF YOU HAVE SHOW DOGS, DO NOT GO TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT. They don't known how to groom show dogs they are just clipper hacks that charge way to much money to butcher your dog!! NEVER COMING BACK!! Below are photos of what my dog should look like in full coat, and what the dog looked like after I picked up my dog, which is naked. I can't even show my dog for at least 6 months due to the hair being pulled out. The regular groomer, Miguel has always groomed my dog but for some reason the new owner let a totally untrained rookie hack and wanna be groomer pull out all my dog's hair for a bath and blow dry only!! They were accommodating, responsive, and very proactive and handling what became a scheduling nightmare due to an unfortunate last-minute stop at the emergency room for our dog before heading off to boarding. The staff worked tirelessly over the Thanksgiving holiday to make sure that our dog, Rosie, got the care that she needed. The daily Pupdates were always our favorite part of the day, being away from her, and let us see that she was well taken care of. THE BEST GROOMING EXPERIENCE EVER! I am so thrilled to have found such a LOVING and PROFESSIONAL groomer, Maytar. My Persian cat, Sheba, was in desperate need of a bath and haircut, but I was apprehensive about taking her back to Petco when our favorite groomer left. I made several calls to various vets and grooming places looking for a groomer I could TRUST with my sweet cat, Sheba who does not typically like being bathed. I didn't expect to find a referral online, but am so grateful for all of the reviews that led me to Maytar. I was relieved knowing that Sheba was in safe hands with Maytar. Not only that, It was obvious that Sheba felt safe with her (unlike with other groomers). Sheba wasn't scared or frightened- I was AMAZED! It's so convenient that Maytar comes to the house and works her magic from her van, eliminating all the stress of traffic, transport, and parking. We've been using Maytar for years now. I'm probably the MOST picky person in the world. I love my little 6 pound long-haired Persian kitty & tell everyone she's my daughter. She's very skittish and prone to ear infections, but Maytar takes such good care of her and my little girl just loves Maytar to pieces. Maytar puts cotton in her ears when she gets washed. I can always tell when she's happy, because she sticks her tongue out. She does that with Maytar. Maytar listens to your concerns and treats your kids like you would. My dogs are rescues that were previously abused, and they are inclined to be fearful with unfamiliar people. So it took great effort to find the right groomer. It matters enormously to me that our groomer knows how to comfort, soothe, and connect with them. Maytar cares deeply, and she is gentle and kind. She also manages to make my three mystery mutts look very handsome and distinguished! She and her team are reliable, professional, and accommodating in every way. I have a huge, very heavy-coated Goldendoodle named Levi. Maytar has been his groomer for over 2 years and I would not have anyone else groom him! Maytar and Aspen are loving and gentle and upbeat and even at times when he is more matted than others, they take whatever time it takes to return him in absolutely perfect coat. We hike a canyon road 3 times a week, and he goes to a "play group" twice a week--quite a mess by the time Maytar sees in every-other Friday. When we nervously asked for him to get his summer cut, Maytar made sure it was not a fraction of an inch shorter than we were comfortable with. Sunset Mobile Grooming did an absolutely amazing job trimming my cats' nails and applying nail caps. My cats are Bengals and they are very high-energy and usually difficult to handle, but they were so calm, happy, and completely unstressed the entire time. It was incredible to see how gentle, patient, and skilled the groomer was with them. Ethan was absolutely amazing -- so kind, professional, and great with my cats. Sunset Groomers are awesome. I've had the best experience with them yet. Firstly, they are reliable. Secondly, they are a pleasure to work with. And lastly, they do an incredible grooming job. I have a red toy poodle and they always clean him thoroughly and make him look so cute. They even put a little feather extensions on his ears! They do a fabulous cut and blow dry on him every time. They are very gentle with him and what's so convenient is that they come right to my house. They let me and my daughters hop into their truck to watch. This was my first time with Sunset Mobile Grooming. Maytar was a pure professional from the moment I requested an appointment. She responded quickly, showed up early, and was able to avoid shaving my shih tzu whose fluffy hair had quite a few mats. I love the style of the haircut and the fact that he's still a little fluffy. I also love that she addressed the glands, ears, teeth, nails, etc. because a lot of the groomers I've used say they do, but when you get your doggie back, you can tell that they did not. Sunset Mobile grooming did an amazing job ! I was looking for someone to groom my dog before he went in for shoulder surgery I called everyone and no one would do it with a sore shoulder ! I was referred to them by a friend and she came 3 days later and groomed him with such care and they were both so gentle with him I am definitely going to continue to use them for my pets! My 7 year old morkie Toby has gotten antsy during grooming as he got older. I gave him CBD oil to calm him down. Ethan gave Toby a bath and cut. Toby looked very pretty / handsome. Ethan was perceptive and shared that Toby was not so much stressed during grooming but rather that he is dominant and does not want to listen or do what they want him to do. This is quite right because Toby is indeed a dominant character. Although on the pricey end, the mobile service is very convenient (right in front of my house). Already booked Toby again. I was at a friends house when sunset mobile grooming arrived to groom her dog (who's I've known since a puppy and I feel like he's mine too) and I was amazed to see such a clean friendly service They were very professional during these COVID times they kept everything clean and wore a mask and kept a distance. This was my second time having my Cairn terrier groomed by sunset mobile grooming and I have to say, they are the BEST! My dog looks so pretty after her grooming and smells amazing too! They are so kind and always listen to what I'd like them to do. You can tell that Maytar has so much experience and knowledge. I feel safe having my dog under their care while she is being groomed. I have a close to 12 year old Bloodhound named Ollie, and Maytar and Aspen have been lifesavers for me. They destink Ollie, clean his ears and anal glands and clip his nails as needed. After the grooming, Maytar always gives me a status report which I appreciate. Ollie feels so much better after being groomed that I now have him groomed every few weeks. I was impressed by how clean the interior of the van was -- it looked more like an operating suite than a pet bathing/grooming facility -- and the kindness of the groomers, who quickly calmed Penelope (and us). Although I had a general idea what kind of trim I hoped to see, they offered a few excellent suggestions, since she's still got her puppy coat. Along the way, they sent me progress pictures, a very nice touch. She emerged after about 90 minutes, as stunning as if she were going to spend her day at a gala event instead of sleeping at home. Absolutely A+, and I look forward to using Hollywood Mobile Pet again...and with a poodle, there will be many agains.

I saw Dogue Salon and Josh early in my search but wasn't sure a celebrity stylist would treat us well. I have had too many experiences where not being a celeb client means being treated poorly. Yet, after doing my research I found that Dogue had everything on my list, including a very diverse staff. When I booked Josh was one of 2 stylist available at the time we needed to come in and I took a chance. I'm so glad I did! He's so sweet, greeted us immediately as we walked in and quickly showed kindness and warmth to by baby boy. I was immediately at home with a great groomer. The service was timely, parking was fantastic (WEHO City Hall parking is a moment), and my boy looked and smelled amazing. He was giving love to Josh as we checked out and I believe we have found a new groomer, making saying goodbye to our old groomer a little easier. I look forward to going back and even letting Josh get more creative with my pups.

I have a poodle with…read moreincredibly dense and soft hair, most of the time she ends up getting shaved to the skin because mattes and for the first time in 3 years, I found my groomer - Jeff, the warrior! Not only did Jeff follow up in a timely manner, updated me on eta, the convenience of him coming to you, he did a STELLAR job. He spent 4 hours making sure my girl was de-matted and instead of taking the easy route like most groomers has, he took the time and love. We ended up not finishing so he came back to finish. Jeff is a perfectionist who is proud of his work and he should be. I love how straight forward he is, and he'll share his professional opinion on what looks good or doesn't. Upon receiving my pup back, I was stoked because she was perfect and so happy. But Jeff insisted she wasn't finished, even though she was perfect. I usually don't leave reviews, but I have to share this experience…read more I've visited this grooming salon before and it was fine, but this time a different person handled my dog, and it was terrible. My dog was dirty and matted -- I understand that and am willing to pay extra -- but when I picked him up, he was completely shaved, with no de-matting done. This dog is my emotional support, and seeing him like that caused a severe panic attack. The staff was dismissive, aggressive, and even threatened to call the police when I took a photo. I received a partial refund, but my dog's fur cannot be fixed. I do not recommend this salon. Groomers should care about honesty and quality, not just money.
