We needed work done on our old Pace Arrow, and an acquaintance strongly recommended this business. I gave a call and spoke to Ryan for a while. He was very courteous and knowledgeable and willing to answer our questions. I didn't feel rushed or condescended to, or treated like I was some ignorant RVer who knows nothing about my rig. The truth is, I *don't* know much about our old rig or its myriad workings. It didn't matter to Ryan; nor did it to Harold, whom I spoke with in a subsequent call. That was very important to me. I've had many dealings with mechanics of all stripes, and I can say categorically that most are asses. They'll talk down to you; and then, because you are ignorant about carburetors or fuel injection or seals or brakes or what-have-you, take great delight in ripping you off. That didn't happen with Harold and Ryan at Brookings Harbor RV. We made an appointment with them; they consulted with us for free (Harold actually came out to take a look at our rig and answer questions, free of charge!), and then, with the appointment, did a wonderful, efficient, and friendly job. We're very, very pleased with their professionalism and honesty. Businesses are like people. Most suck. Which makes the good ones stand out even more. When you find a good business--one whose owners and employees truly care for their customers or patrons, you hang on to them, and you recommend them. Brookings Harbor RV is one of those good businesses. We'll be calling them the very next time we need our old girl looked at.

I called Jerry at Southern Oregon RV Rentals and arranged to have a trailer hooked up and ready for us at Indian Mary campground on the Rogue River near Grant's Pass Oregon. Their website is very informative and helped me choose the proper sized trailer for our family. We arrived Friday afternoon in 100 degree heat. The trailer was all set up with the air conditioner keeping it cool and ready for us. Everything was very clean, and the water tanks were full. It was hooked up to electricity and the drains for the toilet tank and the grey water tanks. The campground told us that their well was running low due to the drought so Jerry for no extra charge gave us four five-gallon water cans extra just in case we could not use the water hook-up at the campground. We ended up not needing them, but we felt more secure with them. The trailer could sleep the five of us very comfortably. The kitchen had a three-burner stove, a microwave, an oven, a large refrigerator, a freezer and a double sink. I ordered the kitchen package and got all the utensils we needed. My family had a great time, and we left on Monday morning. I never met Jerry but did the whole transaction via telephone and email. This is a wonderful way to camp and we were very pleased with everything.

There was no cover over the heating controls which when brushed up against would turn on and was difficult to shut off. Only half the lights in the trailer turned on and when staff from the agency came out to fix it he was unable to and we were told there was nothing he could do. The worst part of all was that the water was full of rust due to rusty tanks. After requesting compensation due to the substandard conditions this agency did not address any of the issues or offer appropriate compensation. I would never rent from this agency or recommend anyone else does for that matter. Their poor business practices took away from my families vacation to Grants Pass rather than providing what was promised at the time of reservation.

We went on a Jet Boat ride, went to Trees of Mystery & just relaxed!!! I can't wait to go back next year & do some fishing next time!

Read on here that Burt was a local fishing guide and he took my son and I out for a full day of fun on very short notice. Burt is a legend in fishing circles and really knows his stuff. He also helped us to coordinate a kayak trip on the Klamath for the whole family. And he really went out of his way to pick me up in Orick when our vehicle was hit by another driver and return me safely back to the RV. If we are in the area again, we will definitely stay with Burt and his wife.

When we left I thought I grabbed the wrong Motorcoach. Jesse was so accommodating. The only time I heard the word "no" it was in front of the word "problem." We had lunch at a very nice restaurant walking distance from Henderson's. When we told our server why we were in Grants Pass she said many people who come intell her the same thing and they come from states all over the place to visit Henderson's. There's no doubt why.

I was kept informed at every step and all the key people (service manager, mechanic, front desk) were on the same page. The work was done as requested in the right timeframe.
