A friend of mine used this company for his girlfriend's birthday celebration last week and a group of us went wine tasting, but on the way up to Temecula from San Diego the bus broke down, the turbo hose popped off. Come to find out it had happened the day before, they had tried to fix it but it broke again. They didn't have the tools to fix it, and we ended up having to call Ubers to take all 18ish of us up to the first winery. While we were there they tried to fix the bus again but it broke, again. Took them hours to send another smaller bus to take us to the next winery, and we didn't have time to hit the third winery and her birthday ended up kind of a bust because of it. I understand that sometimes vehicles break down, but I could tell from the way the driver was talking about it that it was a familiar occurrence to him. If it happens that often, why didn't they keep the tools to fix it on the bus? Or why didn't they have the bus serviced so it wouldn't keep happening? To top it all off, they didn't even reimburse us for the Uber rides we had to take, or the dinner we had in Temecula because the ride home was so late. They gave our friend a 16% discount off his bill. That's it! Are you serious? They handled a crappy situation badly, and to top it off ensured that none of us will recommend their company or use them again. If I were you I'd use a different company if you want to actually get where you need to go on time, or get there at all. read more

We used this company for our wedding this past week and they went above and beyond what we expected. First of all, they are the only limo company that works with you on the pricing when you are only using it to pick up and drop off. Everyone else will charge you for a minimum of 5 hours. Secondly I called them numerous times to change times etc and they were so nice and accommodating! And the icing on the cake went to our town car we had waiting for us at the end of our wedding! I have been on many wine tours and I have to say this was the worse experience. My friend was celebrating her 40th birthday and it was her first wine tour. For the amount we paid, we should of receive excellent service. Our hostess was LAZY!!! She did not have the energy to walk us in the 3 wineries and set us up with our tastings, or the nerve to come in and get us for our next winery. She just dropped us off like a dial a ride and told us to text when we were ready. Huh, instead texted us when she was ready to leave. Then she dropped us off for our lunch picnic, and again she was LAZY! We had to carry our own cooler and fine an employee to see where our picnic reservation was. Again, for the amount we paid we should of received better service. Then, the company has the nerve to include gratuity. This girl deserved crap!!! Terrible service. read more

This is not my first experience with Sunset Limousine. This night was a combination Winter Formal for our daughter and adult dinner night out. Matt was our driver and a true gentleman. I was so VERY impressed at his communication, fun disposition and professional manner without being uptight or put out. We hired Sunset limo to drive us around on an anniversary date. They were very flexible with our schedule, the driver was very friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. They had a bottle of champagne in the limo for us and a sign on the limo that said "Happy Anniversary." The service was easy to communicate with, quick to call back, and very informative. I booked Sunset Limo for my husband's birthday since I had planned a brewery tasting tour. Our pick up was at Pechanga and we hit 3 breweries within 5 hours. Our driver was fantastic and we had a great time :) There were some ants when we first started out, luckily my guests weren't bothered by it too much and our driver cleaned it all up after our first stop. We had 17 people but the party bus could easily fit the 20 people capacity we were quoted. The party bus limo was nice, comfortable seating, and the interior had a fun atmosphere- perfect for the outing we had planned. They had beer, soda, and bottled water waiting when you arrived and the lights were fun to watch as you listed to your music on the drive there. I brought more beer and soda in our own cooler, as well as some brewery snack munchies for the trip, and we were able to store it inside within easy reach for everyone. Not much better than wine tasting...unless you're wine tasting and someone else is driving you! Sunset Limousine is a pretty rad service. Sandy is the bee's knees. She was very pleasant to deal with whether it be by phone or email. She was accommodating and understanding as it took me a little whole to finalize how many of us were going. As for our driver, Doug, he was how can I say this delicately...he was freakin rad. He showed up in his driver get up with the driver's cap. He was nice, helpful, and he even had a joke to tell us at every stop. Everything was great. The reason I'm withholding a star...there was a car fire on the 91 which kept us in traffic for a long time. It wasn't in our control but it sucks that we get charged for that. I know it's probably in the contract somewhere but that doesn't mean I can't wield my power of withholding a star! Overall though, Sunset Limousine and Wine Tours rocks! read more

The customer service was excellent from the very beginning until the very end, they were very professional and really nice! We had the best lunch served. I booked a wine tour for 6 of us girls for my best friend's bachelorette party. I did a lot of searching and review reading on different types of wine tours in Temecula that included transporation. All of the reviews were outstanding for Sunset and the price seemed the best out of those that had at least mostly good ratings. I went on their website and filled out their form so I could get in contact with them. Sandy sent me back a quote, a description of the limo and what was included, and even gave hotel recommendations. After discussing with the bridesmaids and agreeing on prices the wine tour was a go! I called back a month later to book over the phone. It was so easy! They just needed a credit card for the deposit and said I could call back later to confirm our pick up address. I got a payment receipt almost immediately by email as well as a confirmation. Our guest count ended up changing and they immediately sent a confirmation email noting the price change and occupancy change. The day of the trip I received a call from Megan letting us know that she would be our driver and that she was outside waiting for us whenever we were ready. She was even a little early! We had so much fun--way more fun than the boys! Our bride did not know about the plans for her bachelorette until the night before, but was blown away at the limo, the service, and the amenities inside! There were cute bachelorette decorations, soda, water, and Wilson Creek champagne. She told us that she was excited when she found out that we were going wine tasting but this was over and beyond what we were expecting! It's great that us bridesmaids had a fantastic time, but the most important thing is that she was totally rocked by her bachelorette party! Megan was awesome and took such good care of us. We weren't really good at watching time by the last 2 wineries, so she helped us make the most out of our remaining time by coming to get us. We went to Bel Vino, had a picnic lunch from home and wine tasting at Lorimar, and ended at Leonesse. We went on November 1st, which was a Thursday. Totally not crowded, weather was 78 and clear, and none of the wineries watched or marked how many wines we had sampled. We enjoyed our day so much. I will absolutely 100% contact Sunset Limo next time I want to do any Temecula events--they do a wine/brewery tour too! Awesome for a co-ed party! I don't think you can go wrong with them. I booked a tour through Sunset Limousine for my best friend's bachelorette weekend in Temecula at the end of June. While we were in a frenzy trying to get ready for our noon pick up, I received a call stating our driver had gotten into a car accident (I believe he was OK!) but another driver was on his way and would be roughly 30 minutes late. Less than a half hour later, Abe arrived to pick us up. He was very friendly and personable and made us feel special (what girl doesn't love a driver who opens the door for her??). Due to the late start, all the wine tastings were to start later than scheduled but Abe called and made sure we didn't lose our private wine tasting reservation at Leoness Cellers. I was very pleased with the service we received from Abe but I was equally impressed with the staff, particularly Sandy, when I was arranging our wine tours. Sandy was very quick to respond to any questions I had and was extraordinarily friendly. I would absolutely use this company again! read more

Terrible service, when a company makes a mistake (and they will) it's how they handle it that shows you what type of company they are! Unfortunately for our wine tasting trip last weekend, this company completely let us down and then did little to make up for it. We were treated second rate, and when we had a broken down bus and 15 uber rides later (that we paid for) they brought us another bus. But the bus was over an hour late (which left us missing 3 wineries total, missing a party for the birthday girl because of 1.5 hrs of missed time from the first bus breaking down) the bus had a missing window, and our driver made no apology. With all that happened and was missed, we have a great attitude as a group, but I've never experienced such a lack of respect and willingness to be accountable for this company to "make it right". They credited us little to nothing for the broken bus, the extra uber rides, the missed wineries, the sub-par/ late replacement bus and there inability to take responsibility or act apologetic about any of it. So, I booked a SUV limo for my best friend's bachlorette party. There were 10 of us so the price was reasonable because we all split the cost. I had told them this was going to be for a bachlorette party so they decorated the limo accordingly, which was very cool. We had a female driver, Megan, & she was super friendly & fun to have on our tour with us. The limo company has an option for you to order a catered lunch through them which is made by a local Italian bistro. We chose that option which was an excellent choice. The price per lunch was only $11.50, they gave you plenty of food & the quality was superb. Overall, I would definitely choose Sunset Limo for a special event again. read more

I have used Sunset Limousine services twice already. The first was to go to downtown San Diego for a bachelorette party and again for a brewery tour with my family. The limousines that we took were absolutely gorgeous and so clean. Everything was put together so nicely for both occasions. Sandy was very helpful in making the reservations. She always responded quickly to my emails and answered all of my questions. We used this limo service for a bachelorette party which included wine tastings at two wineries - Hart Winery and Lioness Winery - and wine/tours and dinner. The limo service as a whole was absolutely terrible. The driver was nice, but as a driver made everybody feel unsafe. He drove so recklessly we had to ask him to slow down and we even felt the need to buckle up (which you should never have to do in a limo). We were told the driver was supposed to be our tour guide and to lead us exactly where we needed to go at each winery. The driver got us lost at the wineries, wasted so much of our time, and did not know what he was doing. The driver's tie was dirty and stained and he had attitude (little things, yes I know - but not when it's for a once in a lifetime bachelorette party when you pay over a thousand dollars for what is supposed to be a "high class" limo service). Our promised a VIP wine tour was not included and we were late for a "general public tour" so we never got to do that because the driver got us to our destination late. We were promised reservations at both wineries and there were no reservations there when we showed up. We were promised reservations for dinner at our second winery, and the winery told us upon arrival that they don't even take reservations. We still had fun with the girls, but the entirety of this limo service as a whole was absolutely terrible. To make matters worse, I called the owner - Kyle - and he called me a liar, told me that my story did not make sense, told me that they had a GPS tracker on the limo and told me the driver was not speeding (WTF does he know - he wasn't there), and told me over and over that "I don't get it" and was a liar. I have never in my life heard such a response from an owner of a company. He kept cutting me off when I was telling him the story about how nothing that I was promised was delivered - saying that "they talk to too many people so how can they remember what exactly was promised," despite the written emails that I have with every detail listed on what our booking included. Worst limo experience I have ever had. Go elsewhere - there are plenty of limo services out there that will do a much better job and not treat you like this. It was atrocious. BTW, we were not given a refund for the things that we paid for but did not receive. DO NOT use this service. read more

We used Sunset Limousine in April and May for service between home and the San Diego Cruise Port Terminal. We used their SUV because of the amount of luggage we had (it was a 30 day cruise). The driver arrived at our home about 10 minutes early. He took our bags from the house and loaded them in the SUV and we departed right at the scheduled time. The vehicle was very clean and comfortable. Our driver was polite and personable, and chatted with us throughout the drive. The trip was uneventful; the driver drove very safely and broke no traffic laws that we were aware of. At the cruise terminal he helped us locate a porter, completed the paperwork, and thanked us for using Live Oak. The return trip 30 days later was similar. Our driver was at the lot 30 minutes before we got off the ship. He was in touch with us via cell phone to let us know he was there and how to find him. He got us into the vehicle, helped the porter load the bags, and got us on our way home with minimum stress. Again, the driver (a different one from the drive to the terminal) was very polite and personable. He got us home in about an hour safely and without incident. I highly recommend Sunset Limousine. They provide excellent service at a competitive price. read more
