First time trying Tuscanos and I was hoping for a better experience. The food was okay overall. The BBQ chicken pizza had good, fluffy dough, but the chicken tasted a bit underwhelming. The antipasto salad was very simple and came layered rather than tossed. The complimentary bread was definitely a highlight fresh and really good. A big turn off was the restroom, which could use more attention to cleanliness and upkeep. It was scary. Overall, it was an average experience and not quite what I was expecting. Yesterday (3/23/26) my wife and another 9 friends chose to eat at Toscano's Pizzeria in Beaumont (762 Beaumont Ave.,). This was my wife's first time although we've passed the place several times and I thought it was not much to look at from the outside. Well neither was the inside, what us former NJ'ans would classify as a 'dive'. Here are her observations. She had called on 3/21 to make reservations since there were a large party and was told they do not take reservations after 4pm, confused she thought she would have to call before 4pm, but no, they do not accept reservations if you're dining there after 4pm, asked if there'd be enough seating for all of them told probably but no guarantees. Customer service faux pas #1. We walk in and the staff didn't know where to seat them so she suggested they put us on the right side across from the TV screen and add another table. Done! Waitress comes to take the order. Will not do separate checks - 4 orders to a check at a minimum. Now how many of you go out with friends and pay for your own meals separately using credit cards, good thing most of us had cash on hand! Customer service faux pas #2. She hands out menus, one short so two of had to share, OK, I'll let that pass. Asks what we'd like to drink and then proceeds to hand out the drinks to the people at the top of the table who had to pass the drinks to the others at the back of the table (kind of reminded being at a baseball game). Same thing happened when the meals came. One meal was passed by the waitress over the back of our friend who had anything spilled would have had to leave the table and go home covered in sauce and oily residue. Now to comment on the quality of the food. My wife's boneless wings were not real chicken; it looked and tasted like micro-processed chicken pieces blended with some type of coagulant to keep them together. The pizza, which so many rave about (being lived in both NY & NJ so we know what a good slice of pizza actually looks and tastes like) was 1 inch thick of soft uncooked dough and non-appetizing. The meals came in bunches, with the last meal of a lasagna brought out when most of the group were half-way through eating. To the drinks, besides the fact that the glasses were plastic (how well does plastic actually get cleaned), they only came around once to ask if anyone needed their drink refreshed - customer service faux pas #3. And then for the icing on the cake, which by the way they never once asked if we'd like dessert; they start handing out take-out containers while we're still eating (hint, hint??) then follow up with the bill, on each bill is a service charge of $11, and a tip suggestion on the bottom, why is a service charge being added for 4 diners x 3 - final customer service faux pas #4. Of the 10 that dined there, 6 will definitely NOT go back. read more

Pizza is a 10/10 for freshness, value for your money and accuracy of order. We tried this place out after we had our first slice at Beaumont nights last Thursday. We were hooked and had to go back. My only issue is the "you don't belong here" look and vibe the restaurant gives when you first walk in. It seems like they have their regulars that they greet and smile at but if your new or they don't know you, they just kinda get you your order but no smile or hi how are you at all. Maybe the lady was tired or busy so we'll see if the next time we're greeted with a warm welcome. We won't eat here, only take out because we just don't feel welcomed. I'm hoping they work on the customer service part to match the great food. At Beaumont nights, the gentlemen were so kind so we expected that same kindness. read more

Amazing service! We had a group of 12, I called the day before and they said "no problem". Tables were ready when we arrived. Bright, clean and relaxed environment! Food 10 out of 10! All of it! Breadsticks, super fresh salad, caprese, wings, tortellini alfredo, pastrami Stromboli, arrabbiata, and mini pizza. (I tried a little bit of everyone's order ). Tuscano's in my opinion have the best Italian food around! The pizza is amazing no matter what kind you get. Their salads are always cut fresh everyday and served cold, crisp and delicious. I am not familiar with the stromboil but I wanted to try it. It seems we may have received a calzone instead based on the description. Either way, delicious. I ordered online from their website for pickup on a Saturday night. It was busy, as expected, but they were great. The restaurant looked good, with the employees busy and cleaning tables. Honestly we love the pizza here! Everything about it is really great. But honestly we're not going to tip the servers at this point. When it comes to service and having to be sit down and get our order taken I can't stand it. Hate having to wait to order and wait for our server to come back here and there. Go back to the regular service where we would go and get our drinks and pay right up front. If you want us to tip actually have servers that are willing to put the work in. They take so long to come back to give you refills and when ready to pay it takes a thousand years for our server to come back. I've had better service at multiple places. The only thing I hate here will always be the service. Food will always be great just wish service was better. Honestly should just go back to how it was before.
