Sunset has been here since at least 1984, when we arrived in Hesperia. I've needed them periodically throughout the years and they never disappoint. The manager is awesome and accommodating. Their estimates are very fair and transparent. I've never had the gut feeling of, "am I being hosed". They are honest, reliable and a USA based company. If I could give a worse review I would! I had the most HORRIBLE experience you could imagine!! We took our truck there and they said it would be done after 1 month. 3 months later we finally got our truck back. One day they said oh your truck is done, we get there and the bed of the truck is still off and they dented it and tried to deny it then when we turned the truck on it threw a bunch of codes they were not going to fix! They broke my Nuna car seat and were not going to fix it in fact tried to deny that as well even though he dropped it right in front of me!! They say multiple time they promise to call me back when I asked a question and they never did! We finally get the truck back three months later and there are sooo many things wrong with it still! The truck was debadged when we never requested that, the subwoofer was disconnected, seat belts still stuck under the seats, very expensive sunglasses thrown on the floor are now scratched, also a nice jacket was thrown in the bed of the truck and sat there all three months in the rain and weather and they even painted it when painting the bed! There was silicone all over the side of the truck, truck bed and front bumper were not aliened at all! Terry was very disrespectful to my boyfriend! I can not say enough bad things about this company!!! They made me so furious! We got the truck back about 4 months ago and we are still finding things that they did wrong to the truck!! The badges are now falling off the truck! Please please please I advise you do not go to them!! Save yourself the headache! I literally have NOTHING good to say about them!!!!! read more

I just want to express how THANKFUL I am to have met Rudolpho (who was extremely nice!) and TERRY, the owner of this shop. I came to this shop after being completely blown off by C.A.R.S. in Hesperia. After that fiasco, I was left really untrusting of any business mans word. What a blessing in disguise! I was wanting to swap out all my blue decals for pink. Terry was so understanding to my worries and concerns! He took the time to reassure my concerns and helped me regain the trust I wanted to feel. Every word HE SAID...HE KEPT... My out come was even better than I dreamed! He matched my graphic swatch so perfect!!! He painted my 2 front hooks, 1 back hook, 2 JEEP decals and 1 4XE decal. IT LOOKS SOOOOO AWESOME, I TOTALLY LOVE HOW MY JEEP LOOKS NOW!!! I can't stop SMILING NOW when I see how PRETTY MY JEEP LOOKS! Someone crashed into our car while parked. I planned to use another shop, but they were booked, so a quick google search I found sunset. I called and they answered and encouraged me to bring the car in. Thru the entire process customer service was great communication was no problem at all. Since insurance paid the cost was no issue to me. My issue is with the quality of work. The paint job is not impressive, overspray on the taillight one side, the taillight they replaced looks to have been trimmed to fit? The fender they repaired honestly looks worse than it did when they started. In all fairness I am not easy to please with this stuff and most people will never see what I'm looking at unless I point it out. I really wanted to like this body shop, I love to support local buisness and the guy that helped me was great. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this place. read more

This has to be the worst auto body shop around. The manager Terry is extremely rude and has a serious temper problem. One day the price of a job will be one set amount and then it's a couple hundred dollars more. I have had work done here before and I must say the paint and body work was abysmal. I own a Chevrolet and almost all new models require the removal of the bumper just to replace a headlight bulb. So I called and asked for an estimate and was told $40 for labor if I have my own bulbs. I found the price sooooo much better than the dealer who wanted to charge me $200 just for the replacement of ONE headlight bulb. Sunset had saved me a lot of money. My bulbs were changed within 30 minutes. Thank you once again! read more

If you want your car to look worse than before you dropped it off then this is your shop been here 6 times trying to get it fixed and they just told me that if it's been this many times they probably won't fix it right the next time either go to a different shop these people are terrible can't even put a head light in right or bumper read more
