HORRIBLE! Easy to set up an appointment...now I know why...they over book appointment! They had the place super full inside and seats outside of the place full! After being there 30 mins. they charged my co-pay, gave me my id back and then told me they would call me in and hour and a half. A man there was complaining that he had been there for hours and it turned out they misplaced his paper work and couldn't find it! Please don't consider going to this place! read more

I went this morning to have an MRI done. My appointment was for 8 AM. When I walked in, I was the only one there and it should have been a smooth situation. Fast forward to 9:30 AM. I am still sitting there and the room is full of screaming people. I won't go onto any other details, other than the fact that this is a business in Miami that needs to realize that there are still some people living here who only speak English. All I heard the entire time I was there with Spanish. The technician who did my test barely spoke it at all. I did not feel very confident knowing that the woman behind the window may not understand me if I had a problem. read more

I was there for a Mammogram and yes, the wait can be a little long but like the tech explained to me, it is for our own good and to get the best pictures possible and that way i wouldn't have to return. It is obvious and a little of common sense that when you go to a dr's office or any procedure you must have to wait a bit. I have been other places and i have waited. Called and made an appointment for 11:30am. Over two hours later I'm still waiting to be seen. Tried to take care of a mammogram and ultrasound on my lunch break. What a disappointment!! Apparently they allow walk ins and don't prioritize the patients that actually made an appointment in advance. Stay away from them! Bad finance management! Beware ! they do not communicate among themselves and end up denying what the other said. I went a year ago or so. Paid my copayment Later received a letter charging more. Called to clarify. Was told it was a mistake and to pay only half which I did immediately. After that, was randomly checking on my credit report one day and tese lowlifes had me reported. I called. Only found nobody knew why I was told to not pay complete amount (I wrote down name, date and time). Sent payment on certificate letter and requested to take down reported amount from credit bureau. Wow, I just went here to get an ultrasound done- what a horrible experience. The tech was extremely rude and obnoxious. He questioned me on why the doctor had sent me a liver ultrasound and made me feel like crap. Perhaps he missed his calling. As far as I am concerned a Drs opinion trumps the opinion of someone with a degree from a technical school, who can barely speak English. I will most certainly not be going back. read more

I walked into this diagnostic imaging center and it looked like an overcrowded bus stop. It was very loud and noisy and they had four people at the desk all busy. I was told to get there early so I could get out reasonably on time prior to arrival. I arrived at 7:55 for an 8:30 am Appointment . I had to wait 1 hour and 45 minutes to be seen by the lady who was to perform my ultrasound. There were clearly too many people scheduled and not enough employees. Thank goodness the employees did speak English, as I was the only gringa in the waiting room of close to a hundred people all speaking Spanish. I was about to leave when a very sweet blonde lady told me that I was next and it would only be a few more minutes. She was absolutely wonderful and her name is Tatiana Pupo who is a radiologist but not licensed in the USA as an Md. Tatiana was the total saving grace to the whole experience today as well as the young man who managed to get my cd of the images and report within about 15 minutes after Tatiana completed my ultrasound. She took the time to explain exactly what she was doing and truly cared. She has only been in the USA for 6 years and we were able to communicate perfectly fine with her English. She seriously was the only positive thing about this experience . It is extremely poorly run and the staff was totally overwhelmed. read more

1) When i scheduled my MRI, i asked for the first appointment of the day @ 8:30 am b/c i had to work. I showed up 15 minutes early & still had to wait until 10:15 to be seen by an attendant. 2) Not only did i have to wait for over 1.5 hours, i had to listen to the the attendants, secretaries & manager talk about their personal drama. 3) What's worse, i had to listen to that same Manager reprimand one of those employees for doing something wrong. I know employees are friends and all but if you're going to talk about your personal lives, either keep your voice down or talk elsewhere. And if you're going to reprimand your staff, don't do it in front of patients and other staff members. I chose this facility b/c i was told that i'd be taken care of, well not so much & not coming back for the next set of tests. read more

Firstly, I'd like to start off with saying that making an appointment here is WORTHLESS. The receptionist ladies are very disorganized and lazy. Came in with a family member (we both needed just a chest scan which by the way, is $35 without insurance). One of us was called first and we began to wait a little while until we went up to question what was going on. One of the ladies had our entry papers to the side while she was rambling with her co-workers. + Be prepared for a very long boring wait, along with a very full room of loud obnoxious people. + The scheduling is a mess in this place in order to make some $$$ but it's simply not convenient nor is it a very pleasant experience. read more

I had to come in twice to this place. I needed to do an MRI and the person who called me to confirm the appointment the day before didn't mention that I had to be fasting. This place is always packed, people always coming in and out. Doesn't matter how early or late you arrive you still have to wait. Everyone is loud and the waiting room feels like your in a can of sardines. The only good thing of the waiting room is the TV and free water. The front desk staff are okay they pretty much rush you to check in, fill out the forms and pay. Don't expect the staff to go above and beyond to assist you for anything. Make sure you bring your referral from your doctor if not they won't see you, and don't expect them to help you to call your doctor to get what you need. Hated coming to this place!! Horrendous. The girls at the front desk have 0 manners, I was never called the night before for a confirmation of my appointment and when I mentioned it they didn't care. I also complained about how I was never told by them how to prepare properly (such as full bladder, no food, etc) for my study, so I had to reschedule to another date and was very upset. The second time again I did not receive a reminder call, and they made me sign all the papers again I had done the night before. The wait time was almost 2 hours. My primary also never received results for over 2 months because they claim their fax was "broken", when I questioned them about it being broken for 2 months the girl became upset and told me to call her back in a few hours. Expect to spend anywhere from two to four hours. This place gets extremely over crowded. An appointment means absolutely nothing, they do not honor it. It is just a piece of paper saying you are showing up that day. I was there for two hours with and appointment only to walk out after they told me I had to wait another two hours. I saw and heard the complaints of elderly people who had been there since 9:00 a.m., and they were being picked up at 1 p.m. by their clinics WITHOUT being treated. The people are courteous, I give them that, but the place is overbooked every single day of the week. Do yourselves a favor and take your love ones or yourselves somewhere else. read more

Today I went in with my father that has very advance alzheimer's disease.I was very scared as he has lots of panic attacks. I was greeted at the door by to gentlemen that assisted me with my paperwork. My father was entertained by a funny movie. At the time that I went in for the MRI a lovely caring lady explained his test to him and what was going to happen. She was so nice to him. This center is very clean and very will maintained. I have a medical condition that requires extensive diagnostic imaging every few years, so I've had lots of experiences with this type of facility. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had. Tatiana at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful until I indicated that I needed to file a complaint. Then, she became very uncooperative and was obviously irritated, even though I was not raising my voice or being disrespectful. The wait time was horrible....I was there for over 3 hours and they provided no updates. When I had the MRI, the technician handed me a bulb to push if I needed anything, but never checked in. Every other place has a speaker inside the machine and they keep checking in and making sure you're okay. The CT technician was the only person who was professional in his demeanor. read more

I went to this place in 2017 for an exam. Apparently, they sent me a bill in October 2017, January, and April (2018) but it was sent to the wrong address. In the meantime, they had a contact number to call and check why the bill is not being paid. Lady from the insurance company that takes care of their bills called me today (after calling my contact number) and told me she will send me to the collection company. Since I have secondary insurance that was supposed to cover the bill, I asked for the copy of the bill and even gave her a person info that will confirm they will cover the bill. Not only that the insurance lady was not understanding, but was also extremely rude and interruptive (my emergency contact said the same). Even tho I had an insurance coordinator tell me that they just need a copy of it and they will take care of it immediately, insurance lady refused to send one and said she will send me to collections. Their policy is 30 days after the bill is sent to pay, so why the call was not placed in 2017? Well in her words, this call today was a courtesy call on her part, and I should apparently be thankful for her courtesy call. The place itself was okay, but this completely ruins the image of this place. Who waits a year to check on a bill and then does not understand that the bill was never received? She claimed it's my responsibility, so I guess next time I will chase USPS guy in my neighborhood to make sure he is delivering all my mail. If she has made this call in 2017, the insurance company would have covered the bill, but today I had to pay out of pocket because I don't to have collection company come banging on my door. NEVER GOING TO THIS PLACE AGAIN BECAUSE OF THE WAY THE CONVERSATION WENT TODAY AND BECAUSE I DESERVE MORE DECENCY AS A PATIENT AND NOT SEEN ONLY AS A $ SIGN! read more

This place is a full mess. Their administrative is careless. At check-in in 2013, I mentioned the receptionist that she wrote my name wrong and ... the claim to my insurance was later rejected. Then they filed after the expiration date to send a claim and got of course rejected by the insurance. Not assuming their mistake, their accounting department sent me a new bill for the full price.... $1,500+. Called them several times and it seemed that it was all solved until reception of a letter from the Collection Information Bureau for $389,91 (wonder how that changed?). Still no reason to pay out of my pocket for something that was covered fully by my insurance. Just called Sunset Radiology to get a hold of the Billing Department, after being cut off three times, I just learned and no one to talk to until next week.
