No stars would be appropriate. Unfortunately, my experience at the recycling center was extremely disappointing. The customer service was poor, the process was disorganized, and I felt that the staff was not helpful or respectful. For a facility that provides an important service to the community, I expected a much more professional and customer-friendly experience. I left feeling frustrated and disappointed and would not recommend this location based on my experience. Never consistently open and they randomly close because "they ran out of money" seriously!!!! RUDE employees and not worth the effort. I hope management takes the time to address these concerns and improve both the customer service and overall operation of the facility. read more

The guy was nice & quick but couldn't accept glass since his coworkers didn't break down the glass earlier. Also, we were due $7.44 but he only gave us $7 because he said he didn't have the .44 Why don't they have change? He should've offered to give us the .44 of cans back if we wanted or asked if we have change to make up the dollar. Or how about ACTUALLY having change? At least he was nice but now I realize the other recent bad reviews were correct. Feels so blatant to not ever have the change and not mentioning it beforehand. Cal requires them to pay by individual container or weight. They don't offer to pay by container and their sign only shows by weight so this leads the customer to think they can only get paid by weight which is a lot less than by individual container. Sneaky way to do business. Won't go there again. read more

I got there today at 9.10 am. They open at 9.00. One guy sitting outside all doors still locked up. His partner who works with him had to go to the bank he should be back soon. I waited till 10.30 still not open. What kind of service is this? They have no regard of time. A bad way to run a business. I just left. Was unable to do what I had planned. If I could give this place less than zero stars I would! The one star is generous. These people are thieves! I recycle here every 6 months and I've noticed that recycling amounts have been less and less every time I go, but this last time today at 4:00 pm was highway robbery! I use the exact same bins I always do for recycling so I always know how much in aluminum and how much in plastic I am recycling. My husband who does not speak Spanish offered to handle it for me while I went into Costco. They literally only wrote him a ticket for half the amount I normally get and they wouldn't show him the scale. To boot, they claimed they had no cash available so now I have to go back to pick it up on my own time a day later. That is some master trickery. They used to be trustworthy but times have certainly changed. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. ¡Si pudiera darle a este lugar menos de cero estrellas, lo haría! I normally take my recycling to Burrtec in PD, but wanted to try this place. The man helping me was very friendly. I weighed my (heavy) plastic bottles before taking them there and they weighed a little over 10 lbs. I couldn't see, and wasn't told by the man, what the scale weighed my bottles at. After he tossed the bottles into his big bin he had me sign the recycling form that showed I was only receiving $10.43. The pay rate for these bottles is $1.32 per lb. I told him I weighed my bottles before bringing them there - at a little over 10 pounds and he said, "Ah, close enough!" I should have received closer to $13.00, so either the scale is way off, or this young man is a thief! I also did NOT received a receipt! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AND GO TO BURRTEC INSTEAD!! read more

I stopped in and brought 9 large trash bags of plastic bottles usually worth about 80-90$ at the recycling center I usually go to but this one was on my drive so I thought I would give it a try. When they had put away all of our product they gave me a receipt of $36. I asked why are they stealing from me. Do not go here they will give you a fraction of what you deserve. read more

Very easy!!! I had a LOT of bottles and cans that needed recycling, and the center was convenient with easy to follow instructions. When I was done I received a cash payment in exchange for my bottles and cans. If you are there at the same time that Sarah is working, she is very helpful! Despite me arriving close to closing time, upon my arrival Sarah greeted me and helped me sort my materials. Other recycling places have you sort on your own, so this service was a HUGE help to me. That place is very unfriendly. i drove up to the front with garbage bag full on Aluminum cans.. He begrudgingly. Then as he tried to weigh them , machine didn't work. Then told me could not park where I was AND that not to bring cans in plastic garbage bag!!! Finally came up with $2.31..way less than what expected. I will not be going back!! read more

Empty and that was nice but we were the only ones there and it took as long as if there was a short line. Beside that the amount of cash back that we cot was less than 1/3 of what I'm use to getting. I'll have to search for a place that offers more cash back in this area. Now that I think about it, that's probably why they were so empty. read more

I've been here once before. Never any issues. Just came dropped my stuff off and was paid and on my way. Today however is a completely different story. I got here a little after 9am and the man running the center gave me my baskets and informed me that he needed to run across the street for something at Home Depot. I thought okay, I still need to unload and sort, so I can wait and there was one gentleman in front of me. Big mistake. Let's just say it is currently 10am and the gentleman in front of me is still here waiting to be helped. If I hadn't unloaded and sorted in be gone by now. I'm looking into other recycling centers next time. read more
