So apparently my next-door neighbor was using this company to tow their SUV away so the tow truck parked in front of my house when the lady got out to make some type of adjustment the truck started going on its own and crashed into my mailbox breaking the pole out of the ground and the mailbox detached from the top of the pole have no idea why someone is driving a tow truck that has no idea how to correctly Park it Obviously this is not a job for a female very unprofessional how she didn't even bother to apologize for what damage she caused to my property I did speak to the manager and she said she was going to send someone to put the poll back in the ground you people might want to request a male Tow truck driver if you want their services because this female cannot handle this tow truck apparently I'm not trying to bash this company I'm just very upset at the employee that did this even more because she didn't apologize and her English was not even good she tried telling me if I know Spanish which I do but I do not like to speak Spanish so I refused to even try to communicate with her And go straight to the manager read more

Went to this place and another recycle center. Took same amount and both places paid same amount. This placed burned me for about 40 dollars. Do not bring your recycle to US Metals. I highly suggest to take your recycle to Apple market off of Jefferson street. They're trustworthy and pay out honestl. read more

I brought my aluminum cans to US metals today. They have a sign that says they have the right to refuse service to anyone so I didn't defend myself from the nasty woman that was collecting my cans. When I got out of the car she was on her phone speaking Spanish and apparently my presence interrupted her. She looked at me and snapped, "what?". I said, " I have a lot of bags of cans and need to know where to put them". She said, "They go back there" and pointed to the scale behind her. So, I unloaded 10 large bags of cans onto the scale behind her. Then she snaps at me with a derogatory tone and says, "you have to empty those bags into that basket" and points to a basket in front of her, next to my car. I did as she asked and she left. After a few minutes another clerk came and weighed my cans and gave me a receipt. In the meantime, the nasty woman comes back eating a sandwich. It was such poor customer service I have to laugh. Great price for aluminium, but not a true recycling facility. They only recycle CRV plastic and glass. I wish they would have told me, when I went to put containers back into my car they had thrown everything that did not have a CRV into the trash, I would have happily recycled that elsewhere. This is standard practice for this facility. read more
