The ice cream is that good, and the history and story behind the building make this place such a fun stop. It's easily become one of our all-time favorite ice cream shops! I got the Eskimo Kisses and my husband got the Peanut Butter Bull's-Eye, and both were absolutely incredible. The ice cream here is seriously 100 out of 10. I got mine in a waffle cone, and that was probably the only slightly disappointing part. The cones are pretty small, and honestly, it wasn't my favorite waffle cone compared to some others I've had. But the ICE CREAM makes up for it and then some! There is pretty much always a line here, no matter what time of day you go, but they are incredibly efficient. They move people through quickly, so even when the line looks long, you aren't standing around forever. The inside is so cute and quaint, almost like stepping into an old-fashioned diner or soda fountain. It's bright, fun, clean, and has so much character. I'm still kicking myself that I've never actually stopped here for breakfast or lunch because I've heard their food is worth trying too. One of these days! We ordered from the ice cream side, where they have all of the cones and ice cream treats listed. I didn't see milkshakes and some of the other things you might expect at an old-fashioned ice cream shop on that side, although I'm pretty sure you can get more options if you sit down and order from the restaurant side. If you're in Ludington, you absolutely have to stop at House of Flavors. The ice cream is fantastic, the atmosphere is so much fun, and the history makes it even more special. We came back a year later for a reason, and we'll definitely be back again!

The place seemed busy but luckily there was no wait time. There was a lot of vegetarian options and mostly each combination was available as a salad, wrap or a sandwich. I ordered the cranberry chicken wrap . The wrap felt a little dry but the filling was quite good. I also tasted chicken fajita sandwich and it was awesome. This place has started as an ice-cream shop. They hold a lot of records including one in The Guinness Book of World Records and it shows in their elaborate ice-cream selection.we ordered vanilla with butterscotch and raspberry rendezvous and liked both. Prices are reasonable too. Definitely worth a visit when in town. PS : we walked by the restaurant's ice-cream shop side in the evening again and there was a queue extending to over a block :)

I tried 2 different dogs. Liked the chilli dog the best. The other was also good. Can't remember the name, but it was a basic with relish, onions , mustard and ketchup. Small place with street parking. Food was made quickly and server was friendly.

The restaurant itself is small with a couple of tables for indoor seating. They are retro themed ,there is a retro game machine and cute little game machines as table decor. The place is bright and clean Their menu features gourmet hotdogs with your choice of natural casing or skinless hotdogs. There are some specialty ones, or you can get it plain and add toppings. Today I chose the 8-bit bite. I chose the skinless hotdog this came topped with ketchup, mustard, relish and onion. I opted to leave off the relish and onion, but had them add a pickle spear. The hot dog was delicious and the bun was soft and fresh. I can't wait to stop in again to try a different one on the menu. The owners are a husband and wife couple and are friendly and engaging. I feel the sinage could be better as it is hard to find, but I feel this could be a local Manitowoc favorite.

We were originally going to split one because we weren't even that hungry, but at the last minute we decided to get two... and honestly, I could've eaten 10. It's nothing fancy, just the cutest old-school stand, and you should definitely be prepared for a line because this place is popular. They only accept cash, but at these prices, who cares?! $2 for a corn dog, $0.75 for a small pop, and $1.25 for a large. They even paint your ketchup and mustard right on the corn dog, which is such a fun little old-school touch. If I lived here, I'd probably be getting these 1,000 times. I can absolutely see why this place is so popular!

This was my first visit & my 11 yr old grandson was with me & he absolutely loved the Pronto Pups. We will visit Pronto Pups every time we go to Grand Haven. Also note: they are only open during the spring & summer. I recommend you visit & enjoy the Pronto Pups. Warning: You will also become addicted to them as we are now. The service is fast however people love these Pronto Pups so there is always a line but it goes fast and these things are worth every second you wait. We ate & then walked to the pier & on the way back...guess what we did.....we jumped back in line and had more for the road. GREAT PLACE TO EAT! I wish I had got in line 30 years ago. Also the Ambiance is BEAUTIFUL!
