This might be the food cart with the most aura I've ever seen…read more Rick and James have been operating on this street corner by the Chase Building since 1999 and provide not just excellent service, but also an astonishing variety of meats. I was just expecting the regular hot dogs ($4) and Polishes ($7.75), but then they show me around to the VIP section of the cart where they had Hungarian sausages, Cajun sausages, Linguisas (a Portuguese sausage I'd never even heard of that apparently goes back to Roman times), and many others. They also provide drinks and chips, and even as I was standing there they had a small crowd of return customers and loyal patrons. I decided on the Linguisa with some brown mustard, ketchup, and onions, wrapped up to go. $7.75--a little more expensive than other hot dog vendors in the city, but when I got back to the office I wish I had ordered 2. Good lord it was good.
