I liked everything except the smoothie. I don't know if it was the lilikoi or POG or both, but it had a strong artificial sweetener flavor for my taste. The Malasada was essentially a yeast doughnut with sugar sprinkled on top. The Macapuno waffle was soft, very sweet, and had a starchy like texture from the Ube. It was a little hard to eat since it would get crumbly when I tried to eat it with my fork. Served with dried toasted coconut flakes and lots of coconut whipped cream. Loco Moco was delicious. Gravy was already on the rice and not on the meat. Would be better if they gave extra gravy so I'll have to ask for that next time! They asked how I wanted my eggs cooked. I asked for medium, but it was cooked a little bit more than medium. Eggs were seasoned with nori komi furikake (Shirakiku brand/dried seaweed, black-and-white sesame seeds)- love! Ube hush puppies were the bomb. Crispy and sweet. Definitely worth a visit!

We needed a little refreshing treat after a long day of unpacking and this place definitely hit the spot! There is SO many flavors to choose from. Italian ice and 'SnoBalls'. We are familiar with with shaved ice where we are from but tonight we wanted the very very thin ones which is snowballs. Italian ice to me is a thicker heavier shaved ice. I was taking pics and the owner Margie came out to see if we had any questions. I assume we looked confused as there was 2 different kinds of choices of shaved ice. She explained the difference and we did indeed make the right choice :) she was SO nice and friendly. When I'm telling you this, I'm not lieing. What a gem!!! She even let us try the Italian ice which was amazing as well. I even joked in a few years my son should get a job here ;) it's a laid back atmosphere with tables, bean bag game/cornhole.
