There's always something fun and interesting happening around here. The building's standout feature has to be the floor-to-ceiling exterior glass walls. They let in a great amount of natural light that makes your home feel open, bright, and airy. The panoramic views are amazing, featuring a lot of natural sunlight in the morning and the city lights at night, with the sites of the Hollywood Hills and sign, downtown, west side, ocean horizon, and more, depending on your unit location. The very high ceilings add to the feeling of spaciousness. The units are modern and loft-style, but features like wood floors and the fixtures still make it feel warm, like a home. Practical amenities here really make things easier. The 24-hour staffed front desk service means I don't have to worry about package deliveries, which they receive and hold for me. I'm in love with the views of my home. I have been here since 2025, after living in dtla. The complex itself has a great gym & a new pool. This section of Hollywood seems to be a bit more quiet & out of the way but right in the heart of Sunset. This building rocks. Great location. It has a sturdy old school vibe and is well maintained throughout. The floor to ceiling glass windows give the views justice, which are unparalleled for the area. The staff also rocks. They have been super thorough, efficient and friendly. Joysmeri helped us from start to finish. No issues whatsoever. After moving in, there were a few things that needed to be fixed or handled. Joysmeri made sure every single request was addressed quickly by her super friendly maintenance team. Rudy, the head of maintenance, is beyond helpful for any type of request and just wants you to be pleased. He and his guys are quick workers. My fiancé and I have been living at SVT for a few months now and I can truly say, WE LOVE IT HERE! From feeling safe to enjoying our view every day it's such a great feeling. The security, leasing office, maintenance man, they are all so kind and make us feel at home. We've also made friends with our neighbors on our floor as well as below us. Everyone is friendly. Since we've moved in, Rosie (the propery manager) has been so helpful and answered any questions we had. She checks on her tenants to ensure they are happy which I LOVE! Makes us feel more at home knowing that she cares and knows our name, as well as our fur baby :) I highly recommend looking into living here. There's lots to do such as walk the stars, lay out by the pool, make you a cup of coffee from the coffee machine downstairs in the lobby. Not to mention, there are 3 different Targets in less than 3 miles of eachother, Starbucks in walking distance, and a Trader Joe's a block away. You won't regret living here!!!! read more

Btw this building doesn't have guest parking.. They have "valet" which means that your guest have to leave their key and after two hours they have to pay for parking.. Or if its overnight they expect you to have your guest leave their key and pay 10 dollars.. And a lot of times there is no one at the front desk when it's time to get your keys.. If you are going to live here don't plan on having guests.. And good luck even entering the garage because it takes months for them to fix the garage door.. I never leave reviews but people should know this building is garbage. It's funny that they reply to my review on yelp but when I email them with my concerns no one gets back to me.. SUNSET VINE SEWER. The views facing west and north on higher floors are spectacular. You can't beat the floor to ceiling glass windows. Except it took management 6 months to clean them. 2 weeks ago the sewer pipes ruptured for the 3rd time in one year. Apparently in the instance I had the misfortune to experience, the Hollywood Sewage system backed up into the building and flooded the under ground parking and pooled in the elevator shafts. It was literally raining fecal sewage water in the elevators as they ascended from the flooded area.The elevator shafts smelled like raw sewage for weeks and posed a serious health risk and tenants were tracking the water loaded with cholera and dangerous microbes into there homes with their shoes. . The stench was in the hallways and seeping into my apartment. I duct taped the door to keep the nauseating putrid odor out of my unit. It still stinks. Guests have made comments. The elevators are filthy. The daytime doorman is rude and unprofessional. There is no building engineer on staff with the core competence to deal with the demands of a 56 year old, asbestos and mold contaminated skyscraper with major sewage issues and in some units insane roach infestations. Sunset Vine Tower suffers from "sick building syndrome." The property manager hides in his office and never takes a call. Every month your rent is a different amount with loaded with mysterious increases with a fluid number of add ons they claim are utility costs. Sometime over $100. The regional manager will gaslight you and disrespect you. They seriously don't give a damn about the tenants. Good thing the owner, Sunset Vine Tower Inc. is raking in a rumored $ 4 million a year from those Apple i-phone billboards. I went 3 months without a washer and dryer, was exposed to mold spores in a flood remediation. I was lied to and my life was put in danger. They tried to cover up a mold liability, and said there was never any mold. I got a certified lab to test after they refused to order one, before they began demolition of walls that were 98% saturated with sewer water. I have certified proof that there was highly elevated toxic mold growing in the walls for at least 30 days. And if that isn't bad enough, this 56 year old sky scraper has a history of asbestos. The last abatement was in May. They never notified the tenants. How do you spell mesothelioma? The advertising copy in the web marketing for the building is false and deceptive. They should be reported to the Federal Trade Commission for false advertising. They tout a LUXE HIGH RISE LIFESTYLE with a WORLD CLASS POOL and FITNESS CENTER. Both are tiny. Begin your LUXURY HIGH RISE RESIDENCE . Don't mind the cholera , roaches , asbestos and mold. Step into a puddle of raw sewage in the ICONIC SUNSET VINE TOWER ? How about BUBONIC SUNSET VINE TOILET? 20 stories of health hazards, mismanaged by ruthless corporate robots. State of the art amenities like broken down washers and dryers.It didn't surprise me to find out that Sares-Regis Group has a D- rating with the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU . You have to really suck to earn that grade. When I complained to the regional manager about a litany of code violations. hazards, negligence involving fine airborne debris falling from the ceiling landing my furniture, kitchen counters, and in my dog's food and water bowls, the told me, " it's not going to get any better" and "I was the problem." He called me a liar, told me everyone on the staff hated me and asked me to move. How do you spell gaslighting sleaze bag? According to him, Sares-Regis is totally fine with a D- rating. They deserve an F for appalling customer service. If you are thinking about living here, take the whiff test. The views are amazing on higher floors but not worth the price. I'm actively looking to get out of this place. Hoping the owner wakes up and fires this D- management company. They are running once prestigious building into the ground managing it like an under funded housing project. read more

It may say sound weird, but leaving was difficult because I doubt I would get the same level that Jessica and her team provided me with. read more

After living here for 6 months, I realized this community is not what I expected. Overall very disappointing. The building is old, there are constant problems with the pipes, causing issues with the toilet, washing machines and most recently, flooding of units. One week ago, the entire unit above me flooded due to issues with the pipes causing water leakage to my unit. Water flooded my bathroom for 2 days with no assistance to fixing the issue, despite numerous calls. Finally after 2 days of hell, management sent 2 huge LOUD machines to my bathroom because they are afraid black mold will form (sounds fabulous already). Not only are these machines loud, but they are also using ALOT of energy. So I'm assuming I will be stuck with the energy bill after 24/7 use of these things. The broken pipes are still not fixed & has been an ongoing issue for one week. I'm still unable to do laundry. I have piles of clothes. Management suggested I use the washers on the 10th floor in an empty unit. Ummm.. I'm sorry but I pay $4200/month for my unit on the 8th floor. If I can't shower, use the bathroom sink, or do laundry, why am I paying so much rent?? There is no excuse for such crappy service. Do yourself a favor, find a cleaner, NEWER & cheaper place to live at. The Argyle has rent specials, their building is new & the views are probably better. Oh, and don't even get me started on the roach problem in the garage. Absolutely gross. I paid $6,000 to get out of this lease. I can't wait to leave. This is an honest review & I wish I would have known this building was no good. I wouldn't have wasted my money :( read more

Today the TRASH situation is worse. RED LIGHT is still on..not allowing the chute door to open...therefore trash is piling up creating HEALTH HAZARDS in the hallway. Is this why I'm paying $54.00 a month for trash expenses? I was emailed by SRG that maintenance was doing a daily walk on each floor to make sure our living conditions were safe! NOT THE CASE. Did I mention MOLD in the OUTDATED WASHER and 3 hours of dry time and my clothes are still damp. I'm being charged $75.00 a month for gas... for a OUTDATED DRYER that doesn't even dry. The coffee machine downstairs is OUT OF ORDER like always.. The Garage still reeks of sewage from the so called "PIPE LEAK" that was supposed to be taken care of in a 24 hour duration. Having lived here for 3 years, I am moving out of state for work, but if not for that, I would gladly be renewing my lease. Things have changed here for the better in a big way, and I'm sad to be going. When I had first moved in, I thought I had made a serious mistake--I quickly encountered numerous issues with the former management team. The new management is SRG Residential, and they are super pro and extremely nice and accommodating, definitely worthy of 5 stars. Certain members of the old management team (not Terrence or Katie, who were great) were way in over their heads, and not only incapable of handling legit issues, but had a very negative attitude. Not so with the new management! Randy Niznik and Farryl Lawson are frankly awesome--a night and day difference. An example of this is that we have had a crazy sewage leak in the building that flares up every few months. Randy had that fixed once and for all the day after he arrived. SRG has also renovated the lobby and are doing all sorts of maintenance to better the building. Even more impressive, when I needed to move, Randy went above and beyond to help me get into the NY apartment I applied for, writing me a wonderful recommendation letter, and adjusting my move out dates to suit me better. I'm sorry to be going, and know that new tenants will have a fantastic experience living in this gorgeous building. read more
