Small drip

Sunshine Coffee was a cute little spot for a stop with the family. They have some nice space to sit outside, sadly it was raining on ybe day we visited. The drip was pretty average as coffee goes but it still a fun spot for a stop.

Great coffee and treats! The service was fast and friendly. Felt like many customers were local, regular or both. We are not very close but feel it's worth the drive. Limited inside seating but plenty outdoors.

Bright and sunny place

In my opinion, there are several similarities and comparisons between coffee and wine. Neither of which I have a lot of education in. For years the only way I would drink coffee is if after pouring in some sugar, "the spoon stands straight up" (Christian Slater in True Romance). As I have gotten older, I have begun to learn a bit more and my taste have refined some. Still a long ways away from where most coffee drinkers are at and that was the reason for this days visit. We planned to make a special meal for my father in law. My "pa" enjoys his dark roast coffee. I knew that they ground their own coffee so after a little Yelpsearch, I found Sunshine Coffee Roasters. They are located conveniently in Lake Elmo and were quite busy this morning. The ladies that helped us were quite friendly and even taught us that there are different grinds available. Everything turned out great. After surprising pa with his meals, turns out they have made the trip from St Michael to Lake Elmo and have previously been to Sunshine Coffee Roasters. I'm sure I'll be back again too.

What a wonderful new place for not just coffee, they have croissants, muffins and a pretty good chai latte!! We came here on a Saturday morning and it was so cute, total small town vibes. They were very busy when we got there but our drinks and food were made quickly and with a smile! We will definitely be back!

This is the cutest little coffee shop! Excellent staff! This is the second time here and I will be ordering some beans once I get home in GA! You will not be disappointed!

Such a cute little coffee shop! My sister and I stopped in for a late morning latte on a rainy Saturday prior to long overdue sister bonding. My sister lives down the block from here and always raves about this adorable coffee shop. Great cozy bright spot in a great area in Lake Elmo. Staff are friendly from the minute you walk through the door. Coffee was great. I love coffee and love to support local. I'll be back to try something iced now that the weather is getting warmer. The inside of this gem is cute. Small area for sitting inside however tables and chairs outside a nice grass area. Such an inviting little spot.

A cute little café in Lake Elmo. We stopped in for some coffee and grabbed some pastries. Everything was delicious. The café was clean and the staff were friendly. Service was great.

What a great addition to Lake Elmo, very cute coffee shop and great coffee. Friendly staff.

NOTE: This business is at the location of former Urban Coffee and is under new ownership. The business may "officially" open as early as May 1, 2023. In the meantime they are selling coffee beans which are roasted on site. Stopped by and said hi while they were still putting finishing touches on the new interior. The new owners plan to install a walk up window for those on-the-go and they will add additional outdoor patio area for warmer weather coffee consumption. They may even sell ice cream! "Downtown" Lake Elmo will love this shiny addition to local options for caffeination...Check it out!

If I describe the environment as being half of the lobby of a new suburban apartment complex, that doesn't do justice to how pleasant it is. Homey, quiet, clean, intentionally designed. When the apartment people give tours to prospective tenants, my confident assumption is that they DEFINITELY show off this area and it probably convinces people to move to this building. The baristas are serious coffee nerds, rightly proud of their single-origin sourcing from farms in Honduras, Costa Rica, and Colombia. My iced vanilla latte tasted great; the mild sweetness from their house-made vanilla was perfect. My friend got a pourover that he loved; he stayed there for about an hour doing some work and was impressed by how long that container stayed warm. If you're arriving by car, there is street parking around the building, but there is also the option of going into the building's garage. They confirmed to me that the ground-level parking spaces are available to customers during their open hours. Also, this is right across the street from the Helmo Ave. station on the new Gold Line. If you're taking that route before 4pm, consider hopping off for one of their impressive coffees!

We started our order with bubbles and at the register taking our order was Moriah. She was very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. We ordered the Croque Madame and bubbles and sat and waited for our food. About 15 minutes later Moriah brought our food out and greeted us and made us feel very welcomed. We then found out she was the General Manager. We were very impressed that the leadership here leads by example and they step up and do every job. She was a server, at the register and cleaned tables. This is rare these days and not only that she was very high energy and very welcoming. We plan to make another trip to try more items on the menu the food was fantastic and the portion sizes were generous. They also have a beautiful outdoor area.

They've got locations to visit in: Woodbury, MOA and Edina My love it items: Hot chai tea with oat milk (so.good.) Lemon Crepes -these are amazing. Light and simple but super flavorful and delicious. I can't go here and not order these. They are perfection. New favorite added to the list: Croissant French Toast Savory crepes are always just what sounds good that day because they're all good choices. Today I went with the Croissant Avocado Toast. Pretty tasty and would get again. Also pictured is their Apple Cinnamon Crème Brûlée Crepe. Not my dish but verdict was that it was delicious. Their customer service is top notch, the restaurant is delightful, don't miss out on a fun experience trying Sweet Paris Crepes! The Wild Bean Coffee shop shares a storefront and bathroom with 350 Degrees Bakery so I'd recommend hitting both up if you are in the area as a 2-for-1 adventure. The Wild Bean serves a small variety of breakfast and lunch items along with standard espresso drinks. Similar to many coffee shops, there are rotating seasonal specials. For my breakfast, I opted for the egg sandwich and added cheese, salsa, avocado and sausage. I picked sourdough as the bread. It was the perfect size and came toasted. My sister ordered a turkey panini and it was bigger than the breakfast sandwich and served with potato chips. Our service was extremely kind and considerate which aided to the interior charm. I adored the decorating, small gift shop towards the back, plants and exterior patio seating for warmer weather. For my drink, I ordered a hot chai tea latte and it was perfect. The storefront offers board games and complimentary water. I look forward to returning! Thank you!
