Dr. Owart specifically admitted his mistake during the procedure. I was told to immediately go and try to get the tooth extracted and start the process of dental implant. I then received a call the next day from Dr. Wu that she would be back from vacation in two weeks and could redo the root canal then. this series of events was very confusing, so there was no way I was going back to this place. I hoped that they would assist in some payment of the high cost of the implant, but claimed they had no liability for the botched procedure. So I'm out of pocket thousands of dollars. Within in a short amount of time after beginning the procedure Dr. Yoon stopped and told me of her concerns. She called my dentist and had a telephone consult. Ultimately, it was decided that a root canal was not in my best interest and the tooth needed to come out. Shannon then called an oral surgeon and 30 minutes later I was in his office having the tooth extracted. The receptionist lost a bit of patience (it seemed) when I was trying to set up another appointment. I work, so my availability kinda is wonky and I'm stuck with this lump on the back of my tooth (temporary filling) for two additional weeks until I can get the second filling. To be honest, my tongue is already raw from rubbing against the filling on the one tooth that's been done. So yes, I really want to get in sooner and maybe she had a long day, bit it felt like she wasn't interested in trying to get me in sooner. They did however give me a little gift bag, with water and chocolate and Advil. That was neat. Obviously I'll be back l, so it was a good experience overall. Great parking and super easy to find!I The office is less than a mile from the Freeway exit; 2. Office is clean and COVID- safe; 3. Super Polite, professional, kind and friendly staff including my dental assistant and Donna at the front; Everyone was so nice to the extreme. 4. I was planning to drive over before my appt. at Accent to ask my former dentist for my latest x-rays. Before leaving my house, I called over to make sure they would be able to provide me with my x-rays prior to my 230pm appt. with Dr. C. When I called, they said that Ella at Dr. Caballero's Office had already requested and received them. Ella was also the angel who promptly responded to my email looking for a new patient appointment. She was super flexible and accommodating in scheduling. 5. Transparent and inexpensive pricing; 6. What's most frustrating is that the office refused to proceed with the appointment, despite having verified insurance coverage beforehand. I wasn't given a clear explanation as to why the panoramic x-ray was required or why it wasn't covered, and no alternative was offered.
