So nice to fine a caring dentist with a pleasant staff. Really felt like I was a valued patient not just a new ATM machine.

After researching on Yelp, I found that A+ Family Dental was conveniently located and had received overwhelmingly positive reviews. I called them up and inquired if they could accommodate me that day. They kindly assured me that they could take me in immediately. Upon entering A+ Family Dental, I was immediately greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff, incredibly kind and sweet, made me feel like I was at home rather than a patient. Dr. Victor examined my teeth, and we discussed some options. I went with the extraction and bone graft. I did enjoy the options and not feel compelled. I was a bit concerned about the pain. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the procedure was pain-free. They even provided an air sensation on the opposite side of my cheek, which helped distract me from the initial injection, which was completely painless due to the numbing of the gums beforehand. The entire staff demonstrated exceptional expertise and professionalism, which convinced me of their capabilities. Since then, I've had several other dental procedures performed there, including bone grafting, removal of old silver fillings that were damaged, fillings, and a deep cleaning with text messages reminding you of your up-and-coming appointments and then follow-ups after your procedure, seeing how you feel. They have been accommodating with payment arrangements, and I have become a loyal customer. I truly appreciate the helpful and friendly nature of the staff. They were always eager to answer any questions I had, no matter how simple they may have seemed. Additionally, they provided valuable tips on maintaining good oral hygiene and even gave me a bag filled with dental essentials, In conclusion, A+ Family Dental truly deserves its name. Their exceptional service, expertise, and commitment to patient satisfaction make them a top choice for dental care. Thank you so much to the entire staff from front of the house to the back. You made my visits very special and welcoming. Also, a very special heart-warming thank you to Dr. Victor and hygienist Princess. You made my experience very special and positive, bringing my smile even brighter. Thank you once again and looking forward to our next appointment.

Everyone is smiling, laughing, and clearly enjoys working together, which makes going to the dentist so much more enjoyable. I originally switched to Zak Dental because it was closer to where I worked, but I've since realized I'm staying because it's simply the best--not because it's the most convenient. Dr. La did my teeth whitening and prepared my teeth for my upcoming double front tooth crowns. She was incredibly attentive, thorough, and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. I also have to give a huge shoutout to Frankie, who assisted Dr. La and made my temporary crowns. I've had temporary crowns before, and they're usually treated as "good enough" since you'll only wear them for a couple of weeks. Not here. Frankie noticed the temporary shade didn't match my newly whitened teeth and, without hesitation, remade them. She even took the time to fill in a small chip so they looked even better than before. The result is absolutely beautiful, and honestly, I hope my permanent crowns look just like these. As important as great dental work is, I think being kind and personable is almost just as valuable. Everyone in the office has a wonderful sense of humor, and they make every visit feel relaxed and enjoyable. They somehow make sitting in the dental chair feel like you're hanging out with friends. If you're looking for a dental office that combines exceptional skill with genuinely caring, fun people, I highly recommend Zak Dental.

Additionally, the insurance specialist was very helpful and kind. They clearly explained the costs involved and walked us through the various finance options available. We couldn't have asked for a better dental office. Thank you for your exceptional care and professionalism. Best regards, Aurelia Cruz

I thought…read morethis was "fine" until i started experiencing serious pain in a molar that had broken, along with some new sensitivity in some very old fillings. The reality set in that I couldn't hide behind my dental anxiety any longer. I reached out to Dr. McClanahan and set up an appointment. Even setting foot in the office was causing heart palpitations. I had no idea what to expect! I have read online that some dentists shame patients for neglecting care, or how some just don't care if you're anxious. My mind was full of all kinds of interesting thoughts and fears. I told him and his staff that I am anxious, and they treated me with extra care and explained everything along the way. After some x-rays and a consultation, I needed an extraction and some fillings! Yikes. It was kind of a shock, although I knew I'd need some extensive work. I also knew that my years of dental fear had finally caught up to me. Fast forward to today, and I have had my extraction and I just completed my fillings. Thanks to Dr. McClanahan and his team, their calming and reassuring attitudes, and the power of oral conscious sedation, I've had my dental issues resolved and I have made serious progress toward my life-long dental anxiety. I went in today to have my bite adjusted after the fillings, and I have to say I was not even anxious stepping into the office and hearing and feeling the adjustment of my fillings taking place. I've even scheduled my next cleaning. For once I am living pain-free and worry-free. I put it off for so long. I didn't know life could be this way. If you're like me, and have suffered with dental anxiety, just know that it sounds impossible but you can live a pain-free, anxiety-free life, thanks to Dr. McClanahan and his amazing team.

Well, today, the staff greeted me upon arrival. I was checked in and then asked to wait in the patient waiting room. The waiting room is clean, quiet, and calming before a visit. There is event a purified water dispenser with little cups for filling up. The dental technician/asst named Abby called my name for my appointment to begin. She greeted me and then she roomed me. Once in the room, she took internal photos of my teeth and mouth, gave me a blood pressure wristband , and also administered the saliva bacteria test/lab. I got the results within 10-15 mins on my online Dental MyChart record, they are quick here! Abby then received permission from the dentist to take me to get my x-rays. They have a standup machine that's like taking an oral CT Scan 360° photo of your mouth. Then we had the regular dental x-rays where you have to bite down on the trays with the xray manual camera. I really thought it was cool because they also offered to clean my orthodontic retainer while I was here. It literally took only 15 or 20 minutes and it has been cleaner than I've ever seen it since I got it 7-8 years ago. Thanks! Once done with all of my intake tasks, I was able to meet my new dentist, Dr Wu. I explained to her my concerns, and she was very good about examining my mouth and being gentle as well as giving me all of the information that I needed during her exam. I have to say this is probably the best dentist I've ever encountered so far. Her demeanor is wonderful and she does a really good job at articulating and explaining everything that she's thinking about or diagnosing in your mouth. I did also appreciate that she reviewed my saliva bacterial test results and that she gave really good insight on some of the things that the results mean. Doctor Who has a way of making you not feel bad about your situation in your mouth and I really appreciate her for that. Some people are really natural about positive bedside manner, and Dr. Woo was definitely one of those people. Thanks! Since I felt so comfortable, I have agreed to continue and get my work done here. Once Dr. Woo was done with me, she was able to introduce me to Tom who was able to give me all the information that I needed for my treatment plan and everything that Dr. Wu described and explained to me about her course of treatment. Tom is very pleasant and welcoming, and he is also the same person who checked me in and made me feel comfortable for my visit. I like his positive vibe, it matches Dr. Wu's positivity. I will update my review after I get my dental work done, but I'm very happy that I chose to come here. Today as a new patient, I got a brand new toothbrushing kit, which includes some really cool stuff. My daughter has been a patient at Kensington Dental for many years. I will recommend this place also to my mother because she was asking how it went.

After changing dentists around age 10 to 11, we were immediately told she had a severe overjet (approximately 11 mm) and should begin treatment. Parents may want to ask specifically about bite and jaw alignment during visits rather than relying on it being addressed.

Medical only covers once a year which totally sucks. Anyway I was hoping I didn't have a nervous breakdown in the chair due to PTSD from the old creepy dentist. I held it together and she was very kind. First of all scheduling was easy. I got an appointment surprisingly fast every time. I have never had to wait more than a few minutes in the waiting room, but they do seat you and make you wait. I worked in the dental field for over 20 years which I never tell people. I want to see how they do things. My last visit they sat me and she was still scaling teeth which is the start of a cleaning. She did apologize for the wait which I was fine. (I hate when they don't acknowledge it). She used topical per my request. It is helpful if you have not been in awhile. She had a brand new ultrasonic cleaner, but most of her equipment is dated and need of repairs. Everything appeared sterilized correctly. The x-ray machine has a wandering arm making the assistants job difficult. So as a patient for 2 years I have not had ANY cavities which is shocking. I always have cavities. So I find it hard to believe she over diagnosed someone on their review. She is very thorough and gentle. Is she chatty? NO Is this state of the art? NO Is it a good dentist. YES And that is a hard thing to find on Medical.

Over that time, Dr. Brian Mananquil and the entire Bella Vita Dental team have consistently gone above and beyond to make sure every concern I've had was addressed with patience, transparency, and genuine care. My treatment has been pretty extensive, to say the least. Dr. Brian has handled everything from implants and sinus lifts to numerous rounds of Invisalign and refinements, along with all of my general fillings, crowns, and other dental work. You name it--I've probably had to get it done; my teeth needed the whole kitchen sink. Throughout the entire process, he has always taken the time to clearly explain my options, answer every question I had, and make adjustments whenever I wanted to explore different approaches. I never once felt rushed or dismissed, which is incredibly important when you're making decisions about major dental work. What stands out most is how accommodating and patient he has been. Even when I've been very detail-oriented about my results, he's always been willing to work with me to get things exactly right. That level of commitment and professionalism is rare. The office is also consistently well-run, the staff is friendly and organized, and appointments are handled smoothly. If you're looking for a dentist or orthodontist who is skilled, thoughtful, and truly invested in achieving the best outcome for their patients, I can't recommend Dr. Brian enough. After five years of complex treatment, I'm extremely grateful I chose this practice.

At my last cleaning, I was repeatedly pushed toward a deep cleaning I didn't want or need. It took three firm "no" responses before the receptionist finally dropped it. I went into my most recent appointment already hesitant, and to no surprise, the same thing happened again. This time, I confronted them about it and ultimately walked out without receiving the cleaning I scheduled. Their entire process seems to have been reversed. What used to be: X-rays cleaning recommendations has become: X-rays gum measurements a sales pitch for $3,000+ worth of treatment pressure to commit before receiving the service you came in for. After I told the receptionist I simply wanted the cleaning I had scheduled, the hygienist came in and immediately asked, "What's your hesitation?" That felt less like patient care and more like a sales tactic. When I voluntarily schedule and pay for a dental appointment, I expect to receive the service I came for - not a high-pressure sales pitch. I will not be returning, and I will not be recommending Bella Vita. What was once a practice with great service and kind people now feels more like a dental dealership focused on upselling before patient care. It's a shame. You had something good, and you squandered it.

My actual procedure went very well and Dr. Olin is amazing.*** I had my consultation appointment with Dr. Olin on November 3, 2025 after he was highly recommended by my orthodontist. My consultation included imaging and then 45 minutes of face to face time with Dr. Olin where he explained the plan in depth. I was told that everything would be sent for authorization. I called the office on Friday, November 21st to follow up as I had not received anything from my insurance. I was told by the front office that I needed to have the orthodontist place the palate expander prior to scheduling surgery. This was an error and they were going to check with the doctor and call me back. I never received a call. I followed up 2 weeks later and I checked-in with my orthodontist. I called again and spoke with Brandi, who was handling my auth and scheduling. She let me know the paperwork hadn't been signed. Okay, it's the end of the year, I get it. I told her my goal was to schedule and follow through with the procedure ASAP. I called again after Christmas and spoke with Brandi. No update. I expressed that this was frustrating and I understood that it was not her fault. She agreed that she would also be frustrated. To make a long story shorter, my orthodontic team needed to get involved as there was minimal information and communication from Brandi. If I did call, answers were short and it sounded as though she may be irritated. I finally received auth in late January. Scheduling was just as difficult. Finally get a date scheduled for 5/21 and moved to 4/16, amazing! Pre op is scheduled for 4/13. On 4/3, I called and spoke to Brandi to confirm and asked if we had further details, such as a time. No. The day of my pre-op, all goes to plan until I go to check out and schedule post op appointments. I was told I had a $1500 copay and that I should have been notified. I said I was not and that my copay according to my insurance plan was $0. I asked to see the documentation and the girl at the front desk didn't have it but was told that the insurance company said to collect this amount. I asked to speak to the office manager at this point and was told she was working from home that afternoon but she would call me. I paid the copay because I didn't want to risk losing my procedure date. I called my insurance company immediately after leaving and was told the copay was incorrect, that it was $0, and they had no documentation on their end stating I was to pay $1500. The rep called and spoke to Brandi while I was on hold and when he came back on the line, he said immediately asked if I knew a Brandi. I confirmed and he let me know he had to tell her she could not charge me the copay and that the comment "She should be thankful because she's getting a 60k surgery," was made. He let me know I she was going to void the charges. I called to confirm and Brandi picks up the phone and says,"I'm doing it now." No hello, nothing. I asked if the transaction fee would also be returned. "Yes," and she hung up on me. I followed up via email asking for the transaction receipt and proof of void, and let them know I was happy to pay any patient portion due and I would need to see documentation. I received the transaction receipt and no other response. Surgery came and went. All was well and when I came in for my post op, I asked to speak with the office manager prior to me leaving. I initially told she would call me but when I asked if she was available this afternoon and I would wait, I waited for a few minutes with my husband to speak with Christina. When we sat down with her, I asked if she was familiar with my case and what had happened. She started with "I understand your frustration is targeted on Brandi. ". She followed up with the fact that I had received my money back and it was an error. I let her know that I was really upset with the tone of the service I received and it was so negative that when I was asked by Dr. Olin to move my post op appointment, I didn't want to call incase I spoke with Brandi due to the poor interactions. When I mentioned what my insurance rep said to me, she said it couldn't have happened because she sits next to Brandi. Remember, she was out of the office that afternoon. Christina did not appear to hear my concerns and dismissively said she looked into it. When I seemed unsatisfied, she asked what I was looking for. I replied that I just wanted her to really hear me so that there could be improvements made. Again the answer was very dismissive to the point that I asked if I was even welcome back in the future. I may need another surgery and Dr. Olin is amazing. She said yes and seemed surprised. Long story short, I don't know if change will happen but I hope so.
