Great casual dining on the island with nice people and good food! Being pregnant I didn't get to try the killer bee, but my friends said they're a hit and to try one. We popped in for an early dinner and my husband got the steak & lobster which was fresh and cooked perfectly. I got the seafood pasta and added veggies. Honestly the pasta was delicious and I couldn't even make a dent in it the portion was so generous. Lovely view being right on the beach, and our server was very kind and attentive. Not worth the price I've given this place a few chances, but the experience has been disappointing each time. The food is not fresh -- we've had chewy lobster on multiple occasions, despite the high price, and once we were served a red snapper that smelled off. The service is painfully slow, and even the drinks are underwhelming. I used to enjoy the Killer Bee rum punch, but now it's served in small plastic water glasses, and the portion is tiny for the price. After all these issues, I've stopped going. Definitely not recommended. read more

Typical beach bar with a twist! The bee sting drink will knock your socks off! Don't be fooled by the "large" size. It looks small but it packs a punch! Great taste too! My wife and I split a burger which was fantastic!! Perfectly cooked. Great "char" taste! One of the best burgers I've had here in the islands. I highly recommend the food and a bee sting from here. Best food we've had in Nevis with a relaxed fun ambiance. The owner Sunshine took the time to come to our table, thanked for our business, and was a great host. Service was friendly and professional. Killer Bee was our table's drink of choice. Ordered Conch Fritters, BBQ Chicken Breast, Grilled Mahi Mahi but what stole the show and surprised us all was the amazing Chicken Pasta with a superb spicy kick. The people next to us ordered then went and played some corn hole. When you first arrive you think. Yep great place. But the food is gonna be average. Nope. Quite the opposite. After we sat, Sunshine himself came over and spent some time telling us his story. From nothing to greatness. He also told me about the fresh snapper and lobster tails. Last, he told me about his special cocktail. Called the Killer bee. So I had 3. Omg. I would suggest one to maybe 2 unless like me your a trained drinker. Powerful they are. So food came out. I was absolutely blown away. Amazing. My lobster was incredible. Fish was great. Conclusion fritters we're to die for. When you combine the location, music, food and cocktails. I get 5 star. BeautIful beach view and wonderful food! We opted to eat inside the covered area with the flags hanging from the ceiling. It was entertaining to guess the flags while waiting for our food. My husband got the fish sandwich, my SN son...the ribs which were huge (4 ribs) I got the shrimp salad which was large and very tasty and fresh, and my other son a grilled chicken sandwich. It was a lovely meal but we just preferred the atmosphere of other places. My husband ordered the Killer Bee and he could have used another. Not as strong as what was led to be. The beach attached to the restaurant which is also near LIME is gorgeous and has a lot of seashells if you're a hunter. read more

Love this place. My first time was 5 years ago and it is still top tier. Everything tastes fresh, is perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. I had the lobster today. Chefs kiss. Grilled with a lemon butter. Some amazing veggies. And the ribs are the best. Falling off the bone. The killer bees are amazing. Love their version of rum punch. When I told the locals we were going to Nevis they said go to sunshine's and have the killer bee but beware it's strong. We only had one but it definitely got the juices flowing. We did a beach getaway to Nevis and sunshine's was down the beach so we walked over during lunch. It was like sitting on a big patio. Most seating is outdoors but they do have some indoor seating if you want to get out of the sun. They had reggae music playing which made it a relaxing atmosphere. Having the view of the ocean in the background was the cherry on top. Aside from the drinks we got the Wings and Fish sandwich. The bbq sauce on the wings was a little sticky and spicy. I loved them and would recommend! The fish sandwich was a little bland but filling. A must stop if you're visiting! read more

Locals and tourist frequent this beachside restaurant. The killer bee is the signature cocktail to start. Portions are plentiful. Locally caught fish like Snapper are deliciously prepared. Reservations are set to the rear indoor portion of the restaurant. Garlic bread is to die for. the surf and turf was just ok. lobster tails poached just right. Steak needs improvement but could have been off day. Stick to the barbecue platters and seafood selections, which the locals seem to order by the dozen. read more
