All are clinically perfect. 2) PAs are perfect, Vee could or should be a physician. 3) Nursing staff is a dream team, everyone cares about study participants and study integrity top to bottom at this facility.. cud is a standard in excellence and enthusiasm. 4) Even in maintaining and recording nutrition, ingestion time and amount are accurate. Santiago is a great example to show that great effort is made to hire people that are not just task competent, but who treat others with cheerful courtesy. 5) Even in study participant recruiting, there is exceptional effort to bring in great people, Mark sets that standard.. 6)No they did not pay me for this, in fact the only flaw I see in the system is that they do not promote themselves well, even the location/address is outdated here on Yelp!

Unfortunately, my dad has spent way too much time in this ER and hospital. I sat with him for five…read morehours this weekend when he fell off his bike and broke his elbow. The staff was very friendly, but they just seemed so unfocused and couldn't seem to complete one task before they got pulled into another one. My dad had a gash on his elbow that no one tended to before they put a temporary cast on it. So it was a puncture wound that was gushing blood for two days until we were able to get into see an orthopedic surgeon. When they pulled off the temporary cast, the wound had not been covered and skin came off with a cast! Re-injuring him! That just seems unacceptable to me. On top of that it takes way too long to get discharged from that Medical Center. It seems really inefficient to me, perhaps underfunded.

No toilet paper in any lobby restrooms, threatened by one bossy nurse when I questioned signing for the procedure that they weren't sure about which procedure they were giving me and she threatened to send me home.They even forgot to take off the EKG pads. Tried reaching someone to follow up after the fiasco and dealing with the unsafe environment , disorganized people and total confusion with individuals that should not be working there . Called the supervisor ( the person did call later that day), GI Dept., Risk Mgt., Quality Control and no one answers the phone, returns calls or you are told they are not sure who you should talk to. I felt unsafe there, knowing they didn't know what they were doing. I had filled out/given information 4 times and they had me do it again when I got there. When I asked why I was doing it again for the 4th time they ignored me. They couldn't figure out how to access it. This kind of horrible treatment happened a few years ago when Dr. Verma put 7/8 screws in my back and they came out within 2 weeks. The place is terribly managed, no supervision, lack of coordination and patients are treated like file numbers and in my case and my opinion, twice, unsafe for procedures and employees following responsibilities and having the proper knowledge .

I…read moreabsolutely *love* Dr. Trivedi, who also works at this office, and I've asked to become his patient twice over the past five years. I had the chance to see Dr. Trivedi once when Dr. H was unavailable, and I was so impressed by his bedside manner that I requested to switch to him as my gastroenterologist. However, my request was denied after Dr. H's input citing that patients can't switch doctors within the practice. Their secretary staff are at least quick to comply with sending over medical records to my new gastroenterologist or other doctor's that may need my medical summary history performed by Dr. H. If you have the option, I highly recommend seeing Dr. Trivedi. My mother sees him, and two other doctors I know absolutely adore him as well. It's just unfortunate that I'm not allowed to be one of his patients!

They make sure it's safe for you to donate with through screening process. will say a few things I would say that I think should be a bit better is the line for screening since at times there are huge lines at the start of the day with with only 2-3 screening booths open. Another thing is that when it comes to samples every 4 months they'll call you to come in for a sample retake, which is fine, but never any notification that your sample was good and you can continue to donate which can be be stressful at times. but besides those two things I've always have a pleasant experience here over the 4 years of donating at this location

I am currently on my 20th day of a 36-day/35-night study here at Alta Sciences, and I have not been…read morepaid a single cent for my participation... nor have the other 14 participants involved in this study. We were all told that we would be paid on the 16th day of our participation. We are now on the 20th day, and the money that is owed to us has yet to show up on any of our cards. We were then told that it could take an additional 2-10 days to be paid. I decided to call the bank that is used to provide payment and was told that once payment is submitted by the facility, it should take no more than 24 hours for the payment to post. I have participated in a number of studies at different clinical research sites that use the exact same payment methods as Alta Sciences, and it has never taken more than 24 hours to be paid. There is no reason it should take 2-10 days for Alta Sciences to pay any of its participants, particularly when those participants have already been in the facility for nearly a month. I also feel it should be noted that there were participants in this same study who did not even receive payment for their three screenings until after they had checked into the facility. The nurses at this facility are very friendly. Unfortunately, friendliness doesn't make up for not being paid. I would not recommend getting caught up with Alta Sciences when there are so many other facilities to choose from... facilities that will actually pay you.

VA has an Urgent Care alternative. I called Urgent Care Pros, and got in right away. I was processed through treatment with efficiency and care. UC Pros had my X-rays examined by their O.D. bone specialist right away. I sent their O.D. findings to the VA and got an appointment right away. My care by Janny and Michelle was excellent. The entire office staff is attentive and efficient. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.
