I don't want to be mean because I feel for people. Overall it looked okay in the room, it had a microwave and refrigerator. TV didn't work though. The bathtub looked new. And he needs to tell his cleaning ladies to change the sheets and towels even if they "look" clean. But it was literally infested with bed bugs, I've never actually encountered them in any motel/hotel until now. I felt them crawling all over me. They need to fumigate this entire place! He didn't want to give us a refund for only staying there 3 hours. I hope he takes this into consideration.

Totally standard motel. Not too dingy. Didn't feel unsafe. Unremarkable. TV was a little bit of a pain, but that's not a big deal to me.

It was clean, comfortable, and in walking distance to plenty of good places to eat.

Let's start with the parking lot, which appears to have been designed exclusively for clown cars or perhaps very optimistic compact vehicles. If you're driving anything larger than a shoebox, prepare for a thrilling game of "will this fit," followed by a graceful 17-point turn. The rooms are described as comfortable, which I assume is hospitality code for "cozy if you don't inhale too deeply." Spacious is not a word I would use unless we are comparing it to a broom closet. Now, if you enjoy saunas but wish they came without consent, you're in luck. My heater was stuck at a steady 78 degrees day and night, turning my room into a tropical retreat I never asked for. To their credit, they did move me... to a room where I could enjoy the next feature. Trains. Loud, proud, earth-shaking trains. All day. All night. Not "in the distance" trains, but "is there a locomotive in my hallway" trains. If you've ever wanted to feel like you're sleeping directly on a railroad track, this is your moment. There is technically a water view, which sounds lovely until you realize the parking lot sits right below your window. So when you open the blinds, you're not just enjoying the scenery, you're starring in it. Breakfast was... ambitious. I would have gladly paid extra for something edible, or at least something that didn't feel like it lost a fight with a microwave. After working a very long night, I thought maybe, just maybe, there'd be a small gesture of goodwill like a late checkout. Instead, I was told they had 68 checkouts that day, which apparently made flexibility impossible. No apology, no acknowledgment of the sauna experience, no effort to make it right. Just a firm "time to go." All things considered, I'd rate this stay somewhere between a 1 and a 2 out of 5. I won't be returning, and consider this your friendly warning: if you stay here, bring a small car, earplugs, and a strong sense of humor.

She asked if we preferred a room on the first or second floor, and we chose the second floor. Check-in was smooth, and she gave us a really nice room. The room was very clean and well kept. Honestly, it didn't feel like a typical two-star place at all way better than we expected. It had a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, tea bags, which was really convenient. Also, each floor had an ice machine, so you could easily grab ice anytime. Breakfast was included and it was really good. Everything was fresh butter, jam, honey, coffee, milk, sausage, and scrambled eggs. The area was clean and the service was great. The beds were super comfortable and we slept really well. Overall, everything was great clean, comfortable, and very friendly staff. We were really happy with our stay.

After arriving, I decided to cancel my reservation because the property looked run-down and unappealing from the outside. If the exterior was any indication, I couldn't imagine what the rooms would be like. Before canceling, I had ordered an item from Amazon to be delivered to the property. Even though I ultimately chose not to stay there, I expected the staff to be responsible enough to hold a package that had already been delivered. According to USPS tracking, the package was delivered at 10:27 AM. When I arrived around 3:00 PM, the package was nowhere to be found. The staff did not know I had canceled my stay, so they could not have refused the package or returned it to the carrier at the time of delivery. From what I observed, packages are simply left on the front counter where anyone could access them. As a result, I believe someone from the property may have taken it, or at the very least, failed to secure it properly. The front desk staff were not helpful and showed little interest in assisting because I was no longer a guest. Since USPS did not provide a delivery photo, there is always a possibility that the package was misdelivered. However, given the staff's attitude and the lack of accountability, I was left with very little confidence that anyone made a genuine effort to locate it. Overall, between the poor first impression of the property, the lack of package security, and the unhelpful customer service, this was a very disappointing experience.

About a 5 minute drive there and we walked back which took us about 20 minutes. Easy peasy. We had 2 rooms, next to each other. One to get dressed and the other for family as we would explore Tacoma the following day. The rooms were decent size. We had a king bed and a full size pull out couch and a nice view. The room also had a Keurig and a mini fridge. The rooms were clean and comfortable. There was breakfast in the morning that was pretty good. I was thrilled about the garage parking as I saw broken car windows of cars parked on the street. The garage was gated and required a key card for entry. I worried for nothing. My car was safe. My only gripes are that the rooms were not connected and there was construction going on. That was not enough to make me unhappy with my stay. Overall, 9/10 I would recommend.

Around 9:30 a.m. a dog started howling so I contacted the front desk and they said it was a service dog. Time to get up.

I had a run in with a gal one fine morning, her name is Edith. She was rude, curt and well a few other words I won't use here. I came down for coffee. 5:45 ish I approached the Bistro counter to ask where I could get coffee. "We don't open until 6:30!" Oh I see do t you have house coffee set up out here? "What do you want just like regular drip coffee?" Um yes. "Well I don't have a till yet so you can pay at the host desk and then come back here." You don't just have any out here like complimentary? "Well you can just drink the coffee in your room!" Ok! So I walked away from what was about to get explosive!!! Sat nearby to wait . At 6:15 she started to serve others, no "hey I'm ready now" or " I can help you now" When I finally ordered my $6.07 coffee I paid in cash. I could tell by the "humph" that this annoyed her. I don't believe I have stayed at a Marriot Courtyard that did not have house coffee in the lobby! I know I have never been verbally accosted like this. Look you are in the hospitality business m, I myself have been for 45 plus years, that ain't how you do it! She should maybe pursue a different career! This doesn't fit the Marriot guidelines I am used to! I will also say they during my stay I interacted with two other employees at said Bistro , Jasmine and Hellen and they both were extremely pleasant
