Bistro - Morning, Afternoon/Evening. You can meet colleagues and be business or relax.

It's been a great business trip so far. Upon arrival to Courtyard Marriot staff is at your service. Smiles. Calmness. Professional. The noise, music, and flow is on point. This is Y O U R Level up! This particular Marriot is located smack-dab in the downtown area. Yes, one way streets, steep hills, and electric transit to see. Once you step foot in the lobby, you might just over stay your welcome! And, it is welcomed. What works well? - Ambiance - Fresh cold water to hydrate - Starbucks coffee drinks 24/7 - Bistro with thoughtful crafted classics - Amazing room - A plush yet firm bed - An office chair and desk - Adequate lighting in your room You will still have a relaxing stay and still be able to conduct business! Unpack and multiply your opportunities!

I've stayed at several Courtyard Marriots for business and this is by fast my favorite one. Hotel is very clean and updated. It's in a great location next to the rail and many restaurants within walking distance. Staff and Service was excellent! Room: the room was small but efficient. The room included a microwave, mini fridge and coffeemaker. A large closet, with desk, single sofa bed, the bathroom included all bath and shower amenities and a hairdryer. Food/Bar: I only had breakfast here but it was delicious, I ordered the omelet with marinated tomatoes. The lobby restaurant is only open for breakfast and dinner and the bar is open nightly. Definitely recommend!

I really enjoyed my stay here!! Everyone was super friendly and helpful on the check-in. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable, I got some good sleep in here for real!! The room had a refrigerator and a microwave, which is always a huge plus for me. And even though this isn't a high rise hotel, I was on the 5th floor facing the Puget Sound and had a pretty good view. I do like how they won't clean your room unless you request it, that way you can sleep in. I also like this location in Downtown Tacoma. I'd stay here again in a minute!!

If you have the option to stay either at the Marriott Courtyard or the one across the street which is the Marriott Tacoma Downtown, the Courtyard is my pick! I was so bummed when I booked it because my conference hotel was the other one and I thought I was going to be missing out. But the Marriott Courtyard did not disappoint! It's walking distance from a lot of restaurants and tourist attractions. The hotel was very clean and staff was friendly. I loved being able to get coffee in the morning from their coffee station, you purchase a cup for the day. If I ever come back to Tacoma, I'm staying at the Marriott Courtyard!

Blood in the bed my fiancé and I were provided with.

I do not recommend staying here. After a long journey and being up for 36 hours my fiancé and I were about to go to sleep around 8 pm when we found blood all over the sheets and it was more then clear that someone had bleed through the sheets because there were stains in the same place on two sheets. The attendants working moved our room so we could get some rest and the second room had dirty sheets again. At this point we were so exhausted that we had them change the sheets and we went to bed. The manager was absolutely useless and had no clue there was an issue until I was checking out. She refused to fix the situation and I'm now trying to contact her superiors. I will never be staying at a Marriott hotel ever again. If you do stay here I hope Bora didn't clean your room...

Let's start with the parking lot, which appears to have been designed exclusively for clown cars or perhaps very optimistic compact vehicles. If you're driving anything larger than a shoebox, prepare for a thrilling game of "will this fit," followed by a graceful 17-point turn. The rooms are described as comfortable, which I assume is hospitality code for "cozy if you don't inhale too deeply." Spacious is not a word I would use unless we are comparing it to a broom closet. Now, if you enjoy saunas but wish they came without consent, you're in luck. My heater was stuck at a steady 78 degrees day and night, turning my room into a tropical retreat I never asked for. To their credit, they did move me... to a room where I could enjoy the next feature. Trains. Loud, proud, earth-shaking trains. All day. All night. Not "in the distance" trains, but "is there a locomotive in my hallway" trains. If you've ever wanted to feel like you're sleeping directly on a railroad track, this is your moment. There is technically a water view, which sounds lovely until you realize the parking lot sits right below your window. So when you open the blinds, you're not just enjoying the scenery, you're starring in it. Breakfast was... ambitious. I would have gladly paid extra for something edible, or at least something that didn't feel like it lost a fight with a microwave. After working a very long night, I thought maybe, just maybe, there'd be a small gesture of goodwill like a late checkout. Instead, I was told they had 68 checkouts that day, which apparently made flexibility impossible. No apology, no acknowledgment of the sauna experience, no effort to make it right. Just a firm "time to go." All things considered, I'd rate this stay somewhere between a 1 and a 2 out of 5. I won't be returning, and consider this your friendly warning: if you stay here, bring a small car, earplugs, and a strong sense of humor.

So we did that but still had to pay more because that didn't cover the whole cost of our meal. Our room was 3 doors down from the elevator... could hear the elevator all night. Our room itself was odd - no microwave and no dresser only the table holding the tv. We asked the front desk about the microwave (again, an amenity in the Patron Club room) and someone brought one to us which we had to set on the floor. (So odd.) Location of this hotel is nice but the rooms are iffy and service at the desk was unpredictable. The restaurant service was GREAT!

I was thrilled about the garage parking as I saw broken car windows of cars parked on the street. The garage was gated and required a key card for entry. I worried for nothing. My car was safe. My husband and I started a tradition a few years ago where we nixed Christmas presents and decided to book 2-3 day vacations instead. With this being our belated gift to each other, we knew we wanted to splurge. I'm fully convinced there isn't a room here that has a bad view. We had sweeping views of the water and once the fog lifted in the morning, it was gorgeous! The jacuzzi tub is a little finicky to get the temperature correct, but once we had that figured out it was great. It takes a bit to fill up (about 20 minutes) so just be ready. Silver Cloud at Ruston definitely is a little on the pricier side, but it's entirely worth it in my opinion!

Although the front desk brought me bottled water, guests were never informed about the plumbing issue. Because of the poor room condition, lack of communication, and no water on the morning of my departure, I requested a price reduction/refund. I have not received any response from the hotel staff or manager, despite sending an email. When I checked out, there was no one at the front desk available to speak with. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this location. I also stayed here in December and experienced similar issues. I chose to give the hotel another chance, but I encountered the same problems with the condition of the room. It is very disappointing to have had the same experience twice. Areas for Improvement: The biggest opportunities for improvement are communication, room readiness, and quality control. * Guest communication: If there are known facility issues, such as plumbing problems or loss of water service, guests should be notified as soon as possible. Clear communication allows guests to make arrangements and avoid unexpected disruptions. * Room cleanliness and preparation: Rooms should be fully inspected before guests arrive to ensure they are clean and ready. This includes checking bathrooms, dishes, floors, surfaces, and all areas of the room. Guests should not have to clean upon arrival. * Quality checks and accountability: A final room inspection process would help identify issues before check-in and ensure housekeeping standards are being met. * Front desk availability and follow-up: Having staff available during checkout and responding promptly to guest concerns would greatly improve the overall experience
