However, this time I needed someone for my vacation and I was more than pleased. Valerie explained things wonderfully and made me feel at ease. Sherrie watched my cat...sent pics, videos, and left me updates for each day. She even let me know when something was "amiss" at my house (i.e. car in my driveway). She kept in touch and made me feel very comfortable. I was very happy with her and am so happy to know that she will be my primary. The price was way more reasonable than I thought it would be. One has anxiety issues who eats everything (paper towels anyone?) and likes to poop/barf around the house from time to time. One has a bum leg who has 4 pills in the morning and 3 in the evening. And then a cat who can be severely aggressive when he wants something! I've had house sitters in the past and now that I've found Tails 2 Trails I hope to never lose them! Mary is an excellent communicator and I'm always able to get a hold of her. The dogs are happy to see her and get into their own routine when she arrives. She's watched them for over a week's length of time and as short as just a quick stop over if we are out too long for the day. I seriously trust her more than my own grandmother. I explained to call me at earliest convenience sane day if possible. They say : ok... They never called . I call again next day to hope to receive a call back. No text or call. I had another "detailer" doing my pickup (because I physically cannot due to problems walking), and that person crapped out on me (PARDON the pun!), and in desperation, I found Annette's service in Chicago-land Pet Tails magazine. Her service is AMAZING! They are out there rain or shine or snow or ice, and if requested, will leave a note telling you they've been there. They are quick, efficient, QUIET, and they pay attention to detail (meaning they get everything!). I am so glad I found her. Let's face it, if you are a busy person, have no kids (slave labor), or just cannot bear the job, get Annette. You know, some investments really pay off quickly, and this is one of them! This is not a treat for me, this is a necessity due to health. And it works for me! She can either come one or two days a week, and the rates vary per the amount of pups in your pack. From the first meeting, where Kristen came to meet the dogs, I knew I had found someone who would care about my dogs as much as I do. One of my dogs really does like anyone but me. Kristen took her time, and I think spent extra time to get to know her. I received daily emails with pictures of how they were doing, which no Puppy Prison has ever done for me. When I got home, I saw how well they were, and looked happy and healthy as when I left them. When Kristen came to drop off my keys, my kids were excited to see her, so I knew right then, when I need a pet sitter, or pet walker, I know you to call, and you should too.

Animals are Sarah's passion. She was caring and conscientious from the first time she came over to meet our 'kids' (Bacon, George, and Qui) pics below! She asked about feeding, walking, sleeping, and overall quirks of our dogs. We rescue older dogs and they come with some special needs but mostly just spoiling. Sarah is so good at spoiling my only fear was our dogs would love her more than they love us. Lol! I can't say that was far from the truth. We are having Sarah again in July/August and I'm at ease booking our tickets because I know I have someone who will care for our dogs as well as we do and that's so nice!
