    I thoroughly enjoyed taking my pups here. I'm so happy I found this place! I made an appointment through text messaging and arrived promptly on appointment date. Because it was my first time, I brought in my paperwork showing proof of vaccinations. When I arrived, I checked them in and they took my pups to back. An extremely kind technician then spoke to me about their process. She educated me on different cuts, styles and recommendations. The service took about an hour and I was delighted upon arrival. I will definitely come back :)

    Be careful taking your doodles here, our doodle is a puppy and not fully used to the grooming process yet and Sunshine Pet Grooming definitely didn't make that easier on her. They initially told me they could do a certain cut that would keep her hair longer and fluffy. We brush her regularly and didn't see any major matting when we brought her in. They stressed her out so much when she was doing the blow dry that she was panicking and peeing/pooping over and over again. Very out of character for her and this isn't her first groom. She's been completely shaven before in the past. They then called us and said they couldn't do cut we wanted because the "matting was too bad" even though the only matting was maybe a little on her tail. They then said the only cut they could do was much shorter using the clippers. She came home with cuts on her from the clippers, an extremely uneven cut, they shaved so hard in between her eyes it left scratches. She burst a blood vessel in her eye as a result of the stress. Not to mention when I went to pick her and my other dog up I could hear the staff in the back yelling at the whining dogs to "Shut up". Would avoid this place if you want quality care for your dogs.

    I previously left a review about my, to be more specific, Australian Yorkshire Terrier or a Silky Terrier. Her name is Lala, has two eyes but one is bad. I couldn't reply to the response I got. I was asked to remove it because you think it's an error? I made no mistake and this does pertain your business unfortunately. Lala was at your establishment on June 28th. My partner took her in. That adds more unprofessionalism on top of the poor job done on my dog. Instead of assuming I made a mistake when I listed plenty of issues with your services, I feel you should ask customers to reach out with their information. Thank you anyways.

    I asked for Bambi style markings on my dog and they did not have white, asked for a picture of Bambi and then gave me this abomination My dog looks like he has chicken pox! Not Bambi!

    Ear infection

    If I can give them 0 I would. They have been grooming 3 of my dogs for over a year. The most recent appt l asked about the hair in the ear. They said they could remove and that was it no extra warning or conversation. The next day my puppy was walking sideways and scratching at his ear. We took him to the vet and he had a really bad bacterial infection. I called the groomers to let them know and the manager said well we only offer it if you ask for it and that could be a side effect. But my concern was that you make us sign a waiver for matting, they go into details about it but don't tell us that this is a risk for ear hair removal. Make that make sense. His response, it's in your paperwork that you signed the first time you came in. Paperwork from a year ago!!! How can they make you sign a waiver and go over matting issues every time but not when something like ear hair removal can cause bacterial infections. I take ownership of not doing my research but they should for overlooking something that really hurt my dog! Will not be going back and I'm taking back the people I referred. I'm responding back to your response. This conversation you said your groomer had is false. Do not sit here and provide false information on what did not occur. Shame on you!

    This 1 star is in response to the owner's comment on Brady C.'s review this past week. I am his wife and agree that this place is not consistent or willing to take responsibility for the care our golden puppy received on 2/16/25. Our experience was not about our mistakes as owners, which we would take responsibility for if their assumptions were accurate. However, this experience was about the groomers' attitude and lack of care/responsibility/patience for our golden puppy. For the record, these grooms were not over more than a year's time. Initial groom was 7/10/24, she did great and had a calm, patient, and ideal groomer, plus we were never told she was difficult to groom at this time (photo labeled 7/10/24 below). Second groom was 2.5 months later on 9/29/24, and then we understood at schedule of grooming that she was going to get shaved completely and could have been cut with clippers, but again, we were not told she was difficult or had stress during grooming (photo labeled 9/29/24 below). She did fine, didn't poop or pee herself, yet was completely clipped down to zero with loud clippers and received cuts. Third groom was 5 months later on 2/16/25 because her hair was not yet grown enough to need a trim at 2 months from her previous groom (photo of short hair labeled 11/28/24 below), so the point made by Ruben (owner) that bringing her to spend $85 for a wash doesn't even apply. We can wash her ourself, her hair was not long enough to be matted at the time, and she was not being neglected because we learned from our last experience to care for her better. Our point is, the stress our puppy experienced this third visit in 7 months time was astronomically different, and more apparent because of the groomer handling and staff attitude. Her eye was blood shot and she was pooping herself as some sort of self defense against whatever groomer was caring for her. We may not be groomers. We may sound like "clients who are gonna complain", or owners who "don't do their due diligence on maintaining dogs", but when we received phone calls about the inconvenience of continued stress pooping, we could hear multiple dogs yelping and staff exclaiming in the background. Over speakerphone, you could HEAR the anxiety in the room from animals and staff alike. This was an extremely stressful environment the day our puppy came in for reasons we, as owners, could not have controlled, and that's all there is to it. Don't point fingers at clients, especially when we can clap back with photo proof and logic. Instead take some accountability for providing our puppy and your client with poor care due to a bad day for staff and other stressed animals in the clinic. You're right, not every pet owner is going to be happy, and in your case, not every pet through your door is going to be happy. It's business. Not that you care, that's very clear, but this business, Sunshine Pet Grooming, is a business we will 100% not be coming back to and felt so strongly about that, that we left two separate reviews so future pet owners shopping for a new groomer can be fairly warned.

    Scrappy had an appointment today with this company and I just wanted to say thank you guys so much for everything you did for my dog. He looks like a brand new puppy and I loved everything about his looks. Thank you so much. For those reading; definitely give this place some love and bring your dog. You won't be disappointed here's an extra 5 stars. I showed a before and after.

    This was definitely one of the best experiences with a groomer we've had. They did such an incredible job on our 11 year old golden retriever. She was so soft and smelled heavenly afterwards. The gentleman at the front was incredibly personable and friendly. Will definitely be back with our puppy.

    Sunshine did an absolutely amazing job on my baby Daisy! They are extremely kind and warm welcoming and very knowledgeable on how to groom matted dogs. They're very upfront about pricing and go over every detail for the charges. Their prices are reasonable and affordable for their quality of work.

    We had a significant scheduling misunderstanding with Luna's. They showed our appointment as 9:30…read moreAM, while our calendar clearly reflected 2 PM. They texted me while I was working, and although I replied within about 20 minutes, I received no response. I called several times with no answer. When I drove over after seeing their message that we were "late," the shop was closed. Despite no services being performed, they charged my credit card nearly $300 as a no‑show fee. When we first started using Luna's, the experience was excellent--our dogs were happy, and the grooming results were great. Unfortunately, the last few visits have been very different. Our dogs have been noticeably more anxious, and there has been a pattern of miscommunication that they never take responsibility for. One example was being asked to provide vaccine records again, even though they already had them. When I reminded them, they said they needed a new weight because they believed our dog should be charged more. She was not heavier. Another issue was asking them to call or text a specific number when the dogs were ready; they did not follow through. Any attempt to address concerns is met with an aggressive response rather than a constructive one. Perhaps this is due to a change in ownership, but that's only speculation on my part. Based on our recent experiences, I cannot recommend them.
