As you can imagine, moving across the country with 3 little kids is already stressful as it is, but they made the moving part much easier on us. I worked with Geraldine for the initial virtual walkthrough to get an estimate of the costs. She was amazing. They have a local moving company in San Diego that they work with. On moving day, the movers came and picked up our stuff and put them into 4 wooded crate containers. We opted for the crate containers because we needed to put our stuff in storage while we shopped for a house in CT. They drove our stuff out to Newtown, CT where they put our items in storage. From the on, I worked with Kyla on billing and let her know when we were ready to have our items delivered to the new house (about 2-3 months later). We paid for a portion of the bill upon pickup of our items and then the remainder upon delivery. We also paid a monthly fee for few months of storage. The overall communication with the company has excellent. The movers on both sides were great. Roberto, our lead delivery person (2 guys) that delivered our items were great as well. They were quick and asked to make sure where things should go. Absolutely recommend for local and long distance moves! They made it much easier to move cross country!

Moving is such a ridiculously stressful pain in the...ah...neck, but after my first phone call with Tom Gleason, I knew I chose the right company. I was all over the place with the dates I needed for drop off, for moving... but Tom worked with me and even threw in some humor that helped me maintain sanity throughout the process. He didn't run from my craziness, he accommodated my craziness. I'd like to think he may have actually even liked my craziness. Maybe that's too presumptuous of me. Anyway, we need more Toms around. The 20' unit we rented was perfect. The driveway drop off locations were perfect. I spoke with 2 of the drivers on the phone and met one for the final pickup just now (at 7:15am. Nice! When Tom says he'll have it picked up first thing ... he ain't kiddin!). Everyone I spoke with or met is super nice & friendly. Makes a difference when you're having to deal with all the stresses of moving. Oh. The pod itself! Probably shouldn't leave that out of the review. The pod was great too. The team at RCB has always been so friendly and helpful. They are very quick to respond and honestly some of the nicest people I've ever done business with. I needed to store some items over a 3-4 month period in this area. I didn't want to use the storage…read moreservice that I'd used in the past based on recommendations. I looked online and came across Southbury self storage. Their website was so simple and direct that I didn't believe it. There was a sale on unit rentals when I was inquiring and it was a much more reasonable pricing than I'd seen elsewhere. I called and spoke to Paul and then Rob. Anytime you call you get an answering service where they call you back after you leave a message or someone picks up right away. I've experienced both and they are prompt about communicating. Paul and Rob are also very nice. You can literally set up an account, rent a unit, and access your stuff without dealing with anyone. The parking lot is well lit as is the facility itself. They provide dollies, carts, and such to move your items. They also have a broom and pail for cleaning up any mess you've creates while moving. If you are looking for a private, safe, clean facility that is monitored without being intrusive, this is your sign to go for it. My items were retrieved at the end of the rental and wete perfectly intact and in the same condition they were left. I've no complaints and can't refer them enough.

I challenge that it was not over based on what I placed in the container. Never called me or emailed to let me know this was happening. They said they usually will email you if this is going to occur but they didn't have my information to do so.
