And for the record, I've used UHAUL, and they were the worst I've ever experienced, so I would likely still choose Penske if I had to move, but my interactions with them have still been annoying. I went on their website the other day in an attempt to get a price quote, entered my pick up and drop-off, all other relevant information, and then pressed the 'next' button or whatever. And before I could just get the quote that I had entered all that information for, the website, in typical sleezeball fashion, wanted my personal information. Annoyed, I gave it, assuming that I would just have to unsubscribe from some annoying email list in the coming weeks offering moving deals. Because lot's of people want emails about moving all the time because lots of people move--what--every month or so? Why WOULDN'T you want to be privy to the latest moving deals?? After getting the quote I receive a phone call a day (every morning around 10) from someone asking me if I need any help booking my truck and to please call if I require assistance. Well, if I needed assistance, I would call. That's how it works. It's not a one-star review because the people on the phone seem nice enough, but the tactics of getting your business are annoying and frustrating. I just want a quote, not a reminder of why I never rent from places that badger you for business. I know everyone is hurting in this economy, and that this might bring in some business, but go ahead and have contacting me be an option--not a requirement--on your website and maybe you won't make people so angry with your unwarranted solicitation. That said, you're still better than UHAUL.
