Located just about a mile before Bu-cees in Bastrop, you'll find this right off of Rt 21 near the Ally Medical Emergency stop. Stopping here on my way back from AUS on a Sunday in early September, it was about 830AM, just in time for breakfast. So breakfast tacos were the order with a chorizo & egg plus a sausage & egg. After about 4-5 minutes, my order was finished. Digging in, the flavors are straight up fresh and tasty with the warm tortillas fresh off the grill and the eggs mixed in nicely with the other proteins. The tacos are quite large so two were enough for me. Price-wise, they are very affordable and they take credit cards too. Do not miss this when you're on 21; definitely one of the best-kept secrets in Bastrop and I look forward to returning for more when I venture out to AUS... or coming back from there!

When I opened the styrofoam container I could immediately smell that strong distinct seafood boil/bay seasoning--a good thing. The shrimp were medium. Didn't count them, but at least 8. The chunks of sausage were large, fatty. Lots of butter and seasoning to go with the boiled potatoes. The food truck plaza has covered dining (picnic benches), clean concrete floors, and a nice, clean outdoor restroom with hands-free sink (soap, hands-free dryer). Nice view of the corner of Chestnut street where it meets Main.

There's was one attendee in the truck, working hard to make things happen. They didn't earn any stars for ambiance or location. But you know what, the burrito I had there was very good. Every ingredient was excellent, from the asada to the rice, beans and other fillings. The burrito was grilled nicely, and the hot sauce they gave me was more of a chili oil but it was absolutely amazing. It may not look like much but they sure seem to know that they're doing.
