Even more than that, the staff is amazing. Each person was so kind and personable - made our day and felt like "home" (we are visiting from out of town). They even put up with my twin three-year-olds who were unwinding for lack of a nap today, and they made a bit of a mess on the way out. When we went to tidy things up, instead of eye rolls or frustration (which would be understandable) one of the managers gave us some fresh salsa to take home and try. Talk about understanding and kind - these people care, and it showed in each aspect of our visit today. We will be back for sure (but maybe leave the twins with a sitter next time;-). Thanks Coffee Dog!

I did not see the little Scoops banner hanging on the bottom of the Coffee Dog banner so it's really confusing whether they are now Scoops, or coffee dog, or both. When I walked up, a gentleman told me they had most of the drinks but just some of the food that was on the menu and I didn't really understand why but when he suggested the avocado chicken salad I got that. I had mentioned that I wanted a salad and I thought that's what I was getting. But it turned out to be one ice cream scoop of chicken salad on top of a bunch of middle parts of Romain lettuce that were pretty yellow. The chicken salad was spicy because it had jalapeños in it and I was unable to finish it. As far as the drink, it tasted great, but I specifically asked the woman taking my order what they had to drink with no caffeine. She suggested the Arnold Palmer raspberry and since I wasn't sure what that was I said that sounded great. But being caffeine intolerant, after the first big swig of my drink, I immediately knew it had caffeine and then confirmed it by googling it. So I was stuck with very little salad, chicken salad that was too spicy for me and a drink I could not drink. I probably should've said something but I knew I would never be back, so it didn't really matter. The employees were friendly enough, but obviously not knowledgeable. I sure hope they get this "transition" straightened out, or whatever it is, because if not they will continue losing business.

They offer some yummy treats as well as sandwiches. You can also sign up for their reward program and earn points every time you come in. There is music on Saturdays and just a great meet up spot. The down side is the seating, backless stools are not the most comfortable. I saw someone on crutches that had a hard time getting up on one. Maybe it is to stop people from staying all day and working? I am not sure. There used to be a couch in there and that was nice to just sit and visit. There is also an outdoor area with picnic tables and chairs outside at tables (with backs on them!) They roast their own beans and every time I have had a coffee it was perfect. The location is a little weird, wish there was one in town but, worth it for sure!

After a morning filled with calls, I asked Melody, the manager, for their strongest cold brew, and she generously hooked me up with a potent cup of liquid energy masquerading as coffee!! Since then, I've become a loyal regular, drawn back time and again by the magic of this hidden gem. I adore this charming little spot, with its inviting atmosphere that's perfect for lingering over a cup or simply soaking up the laid-back vibe. Fellow coffee lovers, you're in for a treat! The coffee is exceptional, and the sandwiches look absolutely divine. If you get a chance to swing by and sample their expertly crafted hot or cold brews, I highly recommend it - you'll be uplifted and inspired!!
